Abstract
In the second part of the article the following modern trends in the birth rate in Russia are identified and disclosed: a high percentage of births out of wedlock; a reduction in the number of women of reproductive age; transformation of reproductive attitudes of young people; a decrease in the birth rate in rural areas; postponement of the birth of children to a later date, etc. Combining work, motherhood and updating your knowledge to meet changing requirements is very difficult. In order to make it easier for women to make a decision about having a child, continue their career as a mother, and increase their income, a lot is already being done in the country today: systematic support for families with children has been created; retraining in popular professions is available to young mothers within the framework of the national Demography project; the number of places in kindergartens is increasing; subsidized hiring of large and single parents; a service of career consultants is being created; the list of professions inaccessible to women has been reduced by 4 times, since technology has significantly reduced the risks to reproductive health. However, Rosstat forecasts and expert calculations show that with the above targets and current measures, it is extremely difficult to ensure natural growth by 2025.
