Abstract
The paper studies the use of polymer-colloidal compositions based on chitosan with sodium dodecyl sulfate in the processes of purification of protein- and fat-containing wastewater. Using spectrophotometry, high (93-99 %) degrees of clarification were determined under conditions of model wastewater, both with a high protein content and with a high fat content. Using quantitative chemical analysis methods, the COD parameter and fat content in wastewater were determined and it was shown that already in the concentration range from 1 to 50 mg/l for the chitosan-surfactant composition of the working composition, permissible standardized values are achieved - fats are completely removed, and the content of organic impurities decreases by 2-4 times compared to the original model wastewater.
