Abstract

The article deals with the genres of audio-visual scientific texts in a foreign language, such as audio-visual presentation and audio-visual lecture, which can be used to develop the skills of audio-visualization in the students specializing in natural sciences. The definitions of the notions “audio-visual lecture” and “audio-visual presentation” in the field of natural sciences are concretized, their characteristics are revealed, and the logical and compositional structure of each of them is specified. Methodological recommendations on the development of audio-visualization skills in non-linguistic university students are presented.
