Abstract
The goal of this article is to find and analyze the preferences and motivations, as well as regulatory preventative measures, influencing the youth tourism development basing upon the example of Tambov region. The methodological framework of the study is a complex approach to the development of theoretical and practical guidelines and recommendations for the youth tour-ism development at regional and municipal level. Also certain provisions of the article and some of the findings are useful to form regional and municipal regulatory framework for the social and economic sphere.
