Abstract

The paper examines the activity of a regional press media outlet during World War I. Publications in the Altai Peasant magazine-newspaper are used to identify the main stages of the evolution of rural public sentiment in Tomsk Governorate. The author describes the primary social and political issues considered by the media outlet in 1914-1917.
