Abstract
In the article based on field notation about traditional family rituals, made by Ukrainian ethnologist Nataliya Havryliuk (Наталія Костянтинівна Гаврилюк) within perennial expeditions under the auspices of SSCCHPTC specific rites and beliefs of the maternity cycle are analyzed, and investigated the possibility of historical and ethnographic studies in different aspects.
