Abstract

The article examines the experience of extracurricular work at the beginning of the 20th century on the material of the Yenisei province. The main directions of extracurricular work are determined; the forms of its implementation that were relevant at that time are described. The role of museums and theaters in the extracurricular life of students is shown. The experience of organizing labour artels, their effectiveness, as well as the charitable activities of students of the Yenisei province are described.
