Abstract
Mathematical and information support of modern and promising control automation complexes in EMERCOM of Russia currently include mathematical models, methods and algorithms for processing a digital terrain map, as well as formats for using a digital map. 
 Presents the developed algorithms for converting digital cartographic information to solve the problems of choosing the location of elements of the grouping of forces and means of EMERCOM of Russia, which are based on the joint use of possibilities for processing digital maps of the area and methods of evolutionary modeling.
