Abstract
The authors of the article discuss actual problems of socio-cultural adaptation to the conditions of a departmental university and psychological features of teaching students of the preparatory faculty and junior courses a foreign (Russian) language, taking into account national linguistic and cultural characteristics. The authors describe the features of foreign students condition at the begining stages of their educational activities, offer relevant methods of psychological and educational-methodical work with them.
