Abstract

We performed clinical and experimental studies of the stiffness of bone fragments connection in fractures of the large tubercle of the humerus and the surgical neck of the humerus on bio manikins. The clinic also took into account the magnitudes of the moments of resistance forces of the shoulder rotator cuff muscles and the beak-clavicle muscle when using the rod apparatus of external fixation, for fractures of the surgical neck of the humerus and the external fixation apparatus with a dynamic device compression, for fractures of the large tubercle of the humerus. We studied the treatment outcomes of 67 patients with extra-articular fractures of the proximal segment of the humerus 3 and 10 years after the injury. In 96.9% of patients, positive anatomical and functional results were obtained.
