Abstract

The article presents a paradigm of social, emotional and gender problems faced by working mothers with children in Russia and South Korea. Using the example of the novel “A Week as a Week” by N.V. Baranskaya and the novel “Mrs. Kim Ji-Yong, born in 1981” by Te Nem Ju, the analysis of the image of the heroines unfolds, how they perceive themselves and how others treat them.
