Abstract

The article is devoted to the issue of historical aspects, modern legislation and law enforcement practice, which relate to the participation of a defender in a trial conducted by a court with the participation of jurors. The features of the defense arising from the special role of jurors in establishing the actual circumstances of a criminal case are disclosed.
