Abstract
Team creativity is a result of interations of both situational factors (i.e., team factor) and individual internal factors (i.e., individual factor). However, previous studies have focused only on the team factors due to the lack of a proper method about how to logically consider those individual factors in computational process. In this sense, this study proposes using a fuzzy agent based model to fill the research void. Major objective of this study is therefore to reveal how team members’ cognitive style diversity (i.e., individual factors) is influencing on the team creativity via the proposed fuzzy agent-based model. One of significant managerial implications is that this study suggests longitudinal results in which time-variant influences of the individual team member’s cognitive style diversity on the team creativity are logically revealed through the fuzzy agent-based model.
