Abstract
A transversal study of the average values of the parameters of the spectral analysis of the background heart rate variability of medical academy students depending on the level of the variational range of cardiointervals MxDMn was carried out. The average values of the spectral analysis parameters of the background HRV of the students of the Medical Academy of the Circumpolar Zone correspond to the average values of those parameters of healthy women and men of the same age and living conditions, as well as highly qualified athletes specializing in biathlon and cross-country skiing. No definite dependence on the MxDMn level of the normalized and relative power levels of the HRV spectrum was found.
