Abstract
Based on the analysis of legislation, doctrinal sources and judicial practice in the consideration of arbitration disputes, the article examines the issues of payment for the cost of production of an expert examination appointed in a case. At the same time, attention is drawn to the numerous problems that arise in law enforcement, — the conflict and uncertainty of situations of refusal to pay remuneration to experts due to ‘defects’ in the expert’s opinion. The issues of unification of the relevant judicial practice and improvement of the quality of forensic activities are raised.
