Abstract
The paper aims to give a scientific characteristic of the phenomenon of artistic interaction between “credibility” and the writer’s “speculation” in A. Aydamirov’s, M. Mamakaev’s and Sh. Okuev’s works based on the plot constants, symbolic images and concepts in their novels. The scientific originality of the research lies in the fact that it shows contradictions between the writer’s style and the style of the epoch in relation to “evidentiality” as a marker of artistic truth for the first time, identifies the role of symbols which represent the narrative “credibility” and “evidentiality”. The results of the research allow observing the realization of the historical truth ideal in the novels which combine credibility, documentary accuracy with the writer’s fantasy, speculation and mythopoetic imagery.
