Abstract
In 2023, within the framework of the national project “Healthcare”, two state of the art linear accelerators for radiation therapy were put into operation at the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Novosibirsk Region “Novosibirsk Regional Clinical Oncology Dispensary”: Elekta Versa HD and Elekta Infinity. Thanks to the new equipment and the new dosimetric planning system, it became possible to use modern radiation therapy technologies in the Novosibirsk Region. The use of the new equipment is becoming especially relevant for the treatment of leading tumor diseases – breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men.
