Abstract

the article discusses the historical aspects of the formation of the basics of ski training of army and special units (hereinafter-military units) and its significance for the organization of physical training of personnel in modern conditions. The presented methods of individual training, methods of collective training of personnel of divisions (further – skolachivaniye), forms of improvement of ski preparation (carrying out competitions, doctrines), including are studied. when including its elements in other disciplines (fire, tactical, special training), approaches to the selection and training of personnel for special events in winter conditions. The study uses the accumulated historical experience. The system of modern ski training of military units was born in the conditions of combat operations during the Civil war and was developed during the great Patriotic war. The combat experience gained by ski units during the war is applicable in modern conditions for training personnel. Of scientific and practical interest is the use of mechanized aerial units by ski units and the practice of conducting classes in the interaction of different combat units. The practice of working out training issues during marches and exercises provides a rich methodological material for training personnel in various areas of combat (special) training. Currently, ski training is not an element of tactical and special training of internal Affairs bodies, but the system worked out for a long time is applicable for training personnel and developing practical skills necessary in everyday operational and service activities in areas with difficult geographical and climatic conditions (the Arctic, Siberia and the Far East).
