We present measurements of current–voltage (I–V) characteristics and voltage noise SV generated by current-driven vortices for a YNi2B2C single crystal with weak-pinning. Nonmonotonic, N-shaped I–V curves are observed deep in the vortex–solid phase. In the intermediate I region where the unusual negative dV/dI is observed, SV exhibits a sharp peak. The result suggests vortex-motion-induced dynamic pinning.
