The paper focuses on the design and implementation of a comprehensive monitoring system that allows long-term monitoring of selected environmental quantities especially in the interior of buildings and visualizing them using modern SW tools. The measured quantities in this case include CO2 concentration, temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure. The sensor part of the system uses Figaro CDM7160, Bosch BME280 and Microchip MCP9802 sensors. The IQMESH network is based on the advanced IQRF wireless technology that allows coverage of vast areas with the wireless monitoring system. Measured data from individual measurement modules is sent using Raspberry Pi or via commercial Internet gateways to native IQRF cloud storage. From there, it is forwarded through a script to a MySQL database running on the university www server, which subsequently provides for processing and visualization using the Grafana SW system.
