The Department of Healthcare Quality promotes service excellence in alignment with the hospital’s philosophy, which encompasses robust quality and safety management, talent cultivation, competition activities, and the development of innovative features. In promoting health-care quality, the hospital emphasizes patient safety, encourages a culture of reporting abnormal events, conducts benchmarking tests, and fosters talent development. In addition, Shuang Ho Hospital actively participates in various competitions, encourages hospital-wide participation in quality improvement, and provides comprehensive rewards. Regarding innovative feature development, the hospital promotes intelligent health care, shared decision-making, and Choosing Wisely initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of health-care services.
