MATOS BENAVIDES1, Wilmer Córdova1, Ricardo Muñoz1 and María López1 1 National Institute of Child Health, Peru Methods: We describe the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of children with anaphylaxis in the Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Unit of the National Institute of Child Health of Perú from April 2013 to March 2015. We consider the diagnosis of Anaphylaxis according to the World Allergy Organization criteria. Results: We diagnosed anaphylaxis in 12 chidren who were between 1 month to 16 years old. 8 of them were male. 7 had asthma and allergic rhinitis. 9 of them were trigger by food and the other three were trigger by NSAIDs. 1 patient had 9 episodes before he came to our Unit. All of them had skin manifestations, 11 had bronchospasm and 2 of them had hipotension as presentation of anaphylaxis. Only 4 of them received Adrenaline as first line treatment of anaphylaxis. Conclusions: Food allergens were the main trigger of anaphylaxis of our patients. Skin and respiratory manifestations the main form of presentation.
