Edu-Tourism Through Digital Literacy Based on Science and Technology in Community Empowerment Efforts to Improve the Economy in Banyuwangi Regency

This research aims to explore the role of science and technology-based edutourism in community empowerment efforts for economic improvement in Banyuwangi Regency, East Java. The subject matter studied includes the impact of the application of science and technology in edu-tourism programs on community economic improvement, strengthening the quality of education, and preserving local culture, improving the quality of human resources, utilizing technology in edu-tourism, and its impact on local economic development. The research method used was a literature study, as well as field research to collect relevant qualitative data. The data used includes data on the economy, education, tourism, and science and technology innovation in the education and tourism sectors. Based on the data analysis, this study highlights the importance of utilizing science and technology in the development of edu-tourism programs as an effort to improve the quality of the tourist experience, empower local communities, and strengthen the regional economy. The conclusion of this study shows that the implementation of science and technology-based edu-tourism has great potential to be one of the effective strategies in the effort to empower the community and improve the economy in Banyuwangi Regency. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide input for the government, educational institutions and tourism actors to develop edu-tourism programs in the form of sustainable digital modules and based on website technology to support economic and social development in Banyuwangi Regency.

Geo-spatial hypertext in virtual reality: mapping and navigating global news event spaces

ABSTRACT Every day, a myriad of events take place that are documented and shared online through news articles from a variety of sources. As a result, as users navigate the Web, the volume of data can lead to information overload, making it difficult to find specific details about an event. We present News in Time and Space (NiTS) to address this issue: NiTS is a fully immersive system integrated into Va.Si.Li-Lab that organises textual information in a geospatial hypertext system in virtual reality. With NiTS, users can visualise, filter and interact with information currently based on GDELT on a virtual globe providing document networks to analyse global events and trends. The article describes NiTS, its event semantics and architecture. It evaluates NiTS in comparison to a classic search engine website, extended by NiTS's information filtering capabilities to make it comparable. Our comparison with this website technology, which is directly linked to the user's usage habits, shows that NiTS enables comparable information exploration even if the users have little or no experience with VR. That is, we observe an equivalent search result behaviour, but with the advantage that VR allows users to get their results with a higher level of usability without distracting them from their tasks. Through its integration with Va.Si.Li-Lab, a simulation-based learning environment, NiTS can be used in simulations of learning processes aimed at studying critical online reasoning, where Va.Si.Li-Lab guarantees that this can be done in relation to individual or groups of learners.

Az indonéziai felsőoktatási intézményekben működő hallgatói közösségi szolgálati programok hatékonyságának vizsgálata

Every university student in higher education is required to take part in Kuliah Kerja Nyata, what is a study service program, according to the curriculum in higher education in Indonesia. Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) was appeared in a decree from the Department of Higher Education for the first time in 1973 (Kisnawat, 2009). In this study we present the origin of Kuliah Kerja Nyata and its policies implemented in the university, a description of Kuliah Kerja Nyata appeared on the universities’s websites, such as the University of Gajah Mada and Bandung Institute of Technology's website, and the benefits of its implementation for the stakeholders. This publication aims to review community service programs and promote community service in higher education. We present a synthetic literature review related to student community service. This publication offer how the Kuliah Kerja Nyata program has been effectively implemented in indonesian universities for students and lecturers.

Online VR store as a sustainable fashion retail space

PurposeThe study applied the information system success model (ISSM) to investigate the influence of information system qualities (ISQs) on consumer responses related to sustainable fashion consumption in the context of comparing 3D VR store and 2D website.Design/methodology/approachThis study designed a questionnaire to measure five ISQs (usefulness, diversity, functionality, reliability and tangibility), immersion in messages and purchase intention. 270 data from women consumers of online fashion stores were collected using Macromill Embrain. Structural equation modeling with Amos 21 and process macro model 7 with SPSS 26 were used for analysis.FindingsThis study suggested the relevance of usefulness, diversity, reliability and tangibility among ISQs in evoking immersion in sustainable fashion messages and stimulating the purchase intention. In the moderation of website technology types, the effects of usefulness and tangibility on the immersion in sustainable fashion messages were stronger in 3D VR than 2D condition.Originality/valueThe study is meaningful as an initial study that identified the ISQs of online fashion stores by dividing the type of technology into 3D VR and 2D. We offer insights about the relevance and applicability of immersive VR technology in promoting sustainable fashion consumption and show the potential of online VR store as a new kind of sustainable fashion retail space.

Application of New Website Technology and Social Media on Conventional Media Radio Stations Indonesia

Objective: This study aims to acquire factual knowledge revealing the important benefits that arise in the use of the Internet with new Internet technologies: websites and social media on conventional media of radio stations. Methods / Design / Approaches: This research uses qualitative methods with case study approaches that study the utilization of the internet with new internet technologies on traditional media of the radio station. This study examines from various perspectives namely communication, media, technology in the maintenance of radio broadcasting with various sources. Results and Conclusions: Nowadays new technologies and distribution methods are beginning to emerge that have a profound effect on the way the audience listens to radio broadcasts through internet media. It's for the radio station agency with new opportunities, but also new challenges in addition to conventional radio services available, now available as well as file-sharing, podcasting, downloading, and streaming audio, all facilitated through internet media. Implications: Currently, it is difficult to obtain listener data in conventional media. The listening data that can be measured nowadays is easier on the Internet (new media) both through website as well as social media such as Instagram, Facebook, Youtube and Twitter in real online. Understanding/Values: A systematic review of literature contributes to studying and providing an overview in literature regarding the integration of old media and new media to existence of the radio industry that existed over the years.

A roadmap to achieving a healthier information ecosystem through GDPR implementation and privacy compliance technologies

AbstractPrivacy protection has become a central issue in information science, with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) significantly impacting information ecosystems. Research gaps persist in understanding the causal relationship between GDPR implementation and websites' proactive changes, such as adopting privacy compliance technologies. This study aims to examine the influence of GDPR implementation on websites' information ecosystems and identify boundary conditions that may affect this relationship. Utilizing domain‐level data from a professional platform tracking website technologies before and after GDPR implementation, which encompasses a comprehensive longitudinal dataset of over 1.2 million websites, our results indicate that GDPR implementation has increased the decision, breadth, depth, and intensity of adopting related technologies. The variance in these adoptions is significantly shaped by the differing levels of institutional impacts experienced by trailblazing versus laggard industries. Our study contributes to the literature by revealing the importance of policy factors in fostering a healthier information ecosystem. We demonstrate the complex nature of the relationship between policy factors and technology adoption, highlighting the need for researchers to consider institutional context and industry‐specific characteristics. We further discuss valuable insights for relevant stakeholders.

The era of e-commerce or what is known as selling goods online is currently experiencing very significant development. Urban and village communities have begun to change direction in buying and selling from offline to online. One of the technologies used in ecommerce is website-based technology. Websites can be created and formulated with various features ranging from product catalogs to real-time payments very instantly. Websites have experienced a very rapid evolution from previously only being textual to now being able to make buyers feel a real experience as if they were shopping directly at the store. Website technology with the vue.js framework is a variant that is currently quite popular with programmers. Vue.js itself comes from early website technology, namely JavaScript. This has a significant impact where almost all website viewing browsers adopt JavaScript technology. One of the shops being tested using the vue.js technology design is the Cinere Racing Tire Shop. The Cinere Racing Tire Shop wants to develop the introduction of its shop services not only locally but if possible, on a national scale. By introducing the shop online, it is hoped that tire sales transactions will increase sharply. The vue.js technology design also adopts the Scrum Agile way of working according to the principles of computer science, especially the subject matter regarding the development cycle of creating a system or application.

E-Commerce Platform Development as A Means of Increasing Potential MSME Business

In today's digital era, the presence of technology and innovation is becoming increasingly important for MSMEs to maintain and increase their competitiveness. In the digital era like today, e-commerce is an alternative to overcome these obstacles. However, there are still many MSMEs that have not utilized e-commerce to market their products due to limited access, limited knowledge, and high costs to create their own e-commerce platform. The aim of this research is to find out e-commerce platform development as a means of increasing potential msme business. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a case study approach. This research will be carried out in the following stages: literature study, data collection, data analysis, platform development, and evaluation. This platform was built using responsive website technology so that it can be opened through various platforms connected to the internet. The e-commerce platform contains features such as product catalogs, product orders, payment mechanisms, and shipping processes. Overall the information system is very good, as many as 31 people answered with very good responses.

DETERMINATION OF MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT WEBSITE EVALUATION METRICS BASED ON THE ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS

Telecommunications technology is constantly changing with more modern hardware, software and even networks, making it viable. Along with the sophistication, the government uses websites known as electronic government (E-Government) to deliver critical information, thus forcing the government to consider good website performance, compliance with the latest standards, user-friendly services, and digital services devices. In setting website evaluation criteria, the government lacks emphasis on the study of website evaluation metrics that can extend to website technology 5.0 and beyond. The website quality concept, consisting of various metrics and criteria, makes it difficult for stakeholders to analyse and set their priorities and importance in implementing web-based services. This study was carried out to develop the priority index of the metrics and criteria through the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and confirm the priority of metrics and criteria based on comparing alternative positions obtained with the UN EGDI report for 2020 as a benchmark. The results of this study successfully classified five metrics out of 10 main metrics and 17 criteria out of 89 criteria metrics. The five main metrics for evaluating Government agency websites and their priorities identified in this study are Security, Performance, Content Structure, Technology and Accessibility. The discovery of these metrics and criteria gives exposure to all stakeholders in the website development process and its evaluation.

Upaya Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran untuk Meningkatkan Peran Tutor dalam Program Kursus Bahasa Inggris di Lembaga Enter English Center

This article discusses the Implementation of Learning Efforts to Improve the Role of Tutors in English Course Programs at Enter English Center Institutions. Efforts made by a tutor to carry out his role as a facilitator, director, mediator, and evaluator. The tutor is the most important element in learning, so the role of the tutor in general is as a motivator, the tutor can fulfill his role in such a way that the tutor can increase learning motivation. The purpose of this study is to examine how the role of tutors in the implementation of student learning at the Enter English Center Institution. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects in this study consisted of one infoman tutor from the Enter English Center Institute. The results of the interview found that one of the learning activities was designed in the form of 40 days of proficient conversion by creating a comfortable learning atmosphere by playing instrument music while learning took place and for media used in learning, namely material given online before offline learning took place at the Enter English Center Institute, for technology media was not fully utilized because it utilized speaking techniques but other tutors Utilize Kahoot website technology to conduct quizzes. APLIKASI PENGAJUAN KOMPLAIN NASABAH BANK MELALUI NOTIFIKASI WHATSAPP

During the covid 19 pandemic, the use of website technology facilities is very important because it reduces direct interaction between banks and customers to prevent the spread of covid 19. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sumatera Selatan and Bangka Belitung were established on November 6, 1957 under the name PT Bank Pembangunan South Sumatra. Complaints faced by Bank Sumsel Babel from customers such as money not being received but debited account, insufficient money received, not making a transaction but account being debited twice, failed transfer to another bank, debited account, transfer via M-Banking failed to debit account, etc. The Complaint Process for South Sumatra Babel customers now has to come directly to the office, customers will take a long time if they are far from the Bank Sumsel office, Customers queue for a long time and have to complete the file manually (physically). The solution to overcome these problems is to build a Customer Complaint File Submission Service system at Bank Sumsel which can be accessed online with the results of the notification of the resolution of the problem obtained by the customer via WhatsApp. This can provide service quality and customer satisfaction. The system development method used is the waterfall model. The purpose of this study is to build an information system for filing complaints at Bank Sumsel Babel which will make it easier to process data for filing complaints

Implementation Of Public Services In The Digital Era As A Public Information Media Regional Government Of Jayapura Regency, Papua Province

Technology is present in human life with the intention of facilitating all kinds of activities that can be accessed by the community. As a result, technology is considered to have a fairly high efficiency value. Along with the development of the technological era, the government has managed to take advantage of this to carry out activities related to public services that have a clear legal basis for implementation, but there are still people in Jayapura Regency who do not know about the website, due to different constraints in each sub-district. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the Jayapura Regency Regional Government Website has been operating properly, as well as to identify the challenges faced and possible solutions. Alvaro Roscha's theory is used in this qualitative descriptive research method on the Jayapura Regency Government website. The method used to collect data includes observation and interviews. Research Results The Jayapura Regency Regional Government website is considered to function well, although the complaint system is still problematic and has not been able to provide a satisfactory response to the public. In addition, the Jayapura Regency Communication and Informatics Office has succeeded in effectively managing the Jayapura Regency Government website, although it still encounters obstacles such as pages that cannot be accessed, complaints that have not been handled, and the appearance of the website which is still simple to improve quality. Jayapura Regency Government, in this case the Ministry of Communication and Informatics can provide website technology training.

Service quality model analysis on the acceptance of information system users’ behavior

Website technology have created both opportunities and challenges for higher education. Information systems as online learning medium need to pay attention to access, quality and user needs in order to improve the quality of e-learning services. The research objective is to determine user acceptance of the system. The service quality method as identification in solving problems. The research focus on the analysis of five dimensions namely measurable, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. The research was conducted at the research college at Muria Kudus University. The results state that the assessment model of a system on the website can be completed properly. The level of effectiveness is carried out with respondents as users through the distribution of questionnaires. The results of the analysis with a statistical correlation performance test of 0.985 were declared accepted with a validity level of 97% indicating that the success of the system implemented was from the acceptance side. The higher the empathy with service quality and performance expectations, the greater the student's intention to receive online education services. This research is a reference for developing information systems on e-learning.

Sistem Informasi Pengaduan Masyarakat Berbasis Web Pada Kantor Desa Ladang Peris Kecamatan Bajubang

The Analysis of Quality Information on The Website of South Bengkulu, Bengkulu Province

The information and communication technology (ICT) development today has created a website, an effective information medium that connects to the Internet network so that it can be accessed at any time. Not want to miss, government organizations are also utilizing website technology as one of their services in providing information to the public. However, the information contained on the website should have a good quality so that the information conveyed can be useful. This study aims to measure the quality of information on South Bengkulu Regency websites based on dimensions of the information quality concept. Observation of four websites in South Bengkulu Regency was conducted along with an in-depth interview with each manager. The results obtained that the information available on these websites has met the good information quality, although there are some deficiencies such as the existence of links that refer to a blank page, some unlisted information dating, and the lack of network quality assurance to ensure the availability of information.

Current technological developments have made the website a means of disseminating information that offers various conveniences and speeds in its presentation. Speed and convenience are positive values of the existence of the internet. The website is more easily accessible by people in various regions just by using the internet. One of the benefits of the website is that in terms of marketing the products of a business, the website can be a means of promoting, marketing and conveying information effectively and efficiently to the public. Another benefit of website technology is for information purposes of autonomous electric vehicles. This technology in the future can be integrated on the website for the purpose of information on its existence and condition. In fact, it is possible to create applications for the use of autonomous electric vehicles by making calls through the website, as is the case with applications that are currently popular, namely Gojek or Grab.In designing a website-based information system, a markup language consisting of HTML and CSS is used which is synchronized so that it can run simultaneously, besides that, the PHP programming language is also used to make the website look more dynamic and responsive. The method used in improving the quality of the website- based information system for autonomous electric vehicles is the static website method. On static websites the content provided is constant or does not change and on each page is made with HTML code.In this study, a website-based information system was developed for the purposes of a simple autonomous electric vehicle, which operates in the Nurtanio University Bandung campus. This website design consists of 8 pages. Page 1 contains a homepage where general information on research activities for the development of simple autonomous electric vehicles is found. Page 2 contains object detection which displays more detailed information about the object detection technology used in autonomous electric vehicles. Information about the presence of autonomous electric vehicles in the campus environment is then shown on page 3, namely Av Tracker. Page 4 contains the results of the research that has been done. Page 5 contains research opportunities. This website design is also equipped with a contributor page on page 6 which contains researchers involved in autonomous electric vehicle research. Page 7 contains biodata of alumni who have contributed. At the end, page 8 is for contact information for those who are interested in communicating further about matters related to this research.The final form of a website-based information system is to provide convenience to convey information about autonomous electric vehicles, and also to provide convenience for website management according to the required data and for further development with a tracking system.

Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Pelayanan Administrasi Model Desa Cerdas Berbasis Web di Desa Mumbang Jaya

The use of information technology in Mumbang Jaya Village which is located at Jl. Radin Intan No.49, Mumbang Jaya, Jabung, East Lampung Regency, South Sumatra 34184 with a population of 10470 people with 226 heads of families known to problems such as conveying information to the community in the form of activities and announcements are still carried out using notice boards or using pamphlets, so that the impact that arises is the high operational costs and information coverage which is limited. Another problem is that the process of processing villagers' data and information on letter requests that are carried out is still done manually, such as residents having to come to the village office to apply for letters based on the required file, this has an impact on the slow process and can cause data collection errors.The method used in the research is extreme programming based on a brief history that software development is widely used for faster development by covering the stages of planning, design, coding and testing. The system is built using php programming language and Mysql database which aims to facilitate or implement the use of website technology to obtain information in urban villages. The results of the study are in the form of a population data administration service system and complaints services with a smart village model to provide convenience in conveying important information to the community. The implementation of the population administration information system using a web-based government to citizen model produces a system with three main features, namely requests for letters, complaints, criticisms and suggestions and can see information about the village.

GROP: A genomic information repository for oilplants.

Biomass energy is an essential component of the agriculture economy and represents an important and particularly significant renewable energy source in the fight against fossil fuel depletion and global warming. The recognition that many plants naturally synthesize hydrocarbons makes these oil plants indispensable resources for biomass energy, and the advancement of next-generation sequencing technology in recent years has now made available mountains of data on plants that synthesize oil. We have utilized a combination of bioinformatic protocols to acquire key information from this massive amount of genomic data and to assemble it into an oil plant genomic information repository, built through website technology, including Django, Bootstrap, and echarts, to create the Genomic Information Repository for Oil Plants (GROP) portal (http://grop.site/) for genomics research on oil plants. The current version of GROP integrates the coding sequences, protein sequences, genome structure, functional annotation information, and other information from 18 species, 22 genome assemblies, and 46 transcriptomes. GROP also provides BLAST, genome browser, functional enrichment, and search tools. The integration of the massive amounts of oil plant genomic data with key bioinformatics tools in a database with a user-friendly interface allows GROP to serve as a central information repository to facilitate studies on oil plants by researchers worldwide.
