The objective of this scoping review is to identify the tests used in Colombia to assess vocational interests, to analyze whether they were subjected to adaptation and validation processes, as well as the population groups to which they have been applied, the research purposes and the findings. Researches that have used vocational interest inventories in Colombia, between 2012 and 2022, were retrieved from databases such as Science Direct, Proquest, Scielo, Redalyc and Google Scholar. It was found that 72% of the tests were implemented in vocational orientation processes in secondary education. Eighty-nine percent of the studies do not report processes of adaptation and psychometric validation of the instruments. The use of instruments across cultures without the pertinent evaluation that allows valid and reliable inferences to be made is discussed
