Evaluation of New Employee Selection using the Multi Factor Evaluation Process Method

The process of accepting and selecting prospective employees is the earliest process for a company to get quality employees that the company or agency needs. Companies must have criteria for the employees they want. On CV. With the complete range of products sold and reliable teams, this company still has problems in providing recommendations for GPU selection to customers. This process is still carried out manually, namely by providing recommendations according to the funds owned by the customer. If there is more than one alternative that suits the funds owned by the customer, employees will have difficulty choosing them. Such a manual process is likely to be wrong or mistaken. Therefore, there is a need for innovation that can help and make it easier for employees to provide recommendations for GPU selection to customers, namely by implementing a Decision Support System (SPK) that uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method built with the VB programming language, and a MySQL database. in determining GPU recommendations that will be given to customers. The development of information technology today requires fast and accurate information in its implementation. The appointment of employees who perform well with the support of a decision support system is one of the implementations of the development of information technology. Research that uses the AHP method in this decision support system produces an application for an appointment decision support system that can be used in companies. The criteria used in the decision support system for the appointment of employees are: Quality of work of employees. The results of this study are to produce a ranking order of prospective employees who have good performance who have been selected, and the output of the application can assist decision makers in choosing alternative employee appointments. The application in this research is implemented using the VB programming language. NET 2008 and databases using Mysql. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is a method used in the design of a decision support system. The concept used by the AHP method is to change the value of a qualitative Decision Support System into a quantitative value. So that the decisions taken can be more objective. By using this Analytical Hierarchy Process, it is hoped that the employee appointment process will be more effective and efficient so that the company's leaders quickly get the value of employees who will be appointed as permanent employees to get the expected results.

A Proposal System Design of Evaluating Employees Performance in Qaladze Bank, Kurdistan Region of Iraq

This study presents a new model for Evaluating employees’ performance by considering their job criteria so that employees are evaluated not only on the basis of their individual criteria but also on the job criteria they are working on. This is the most important feature of this research compared to previous cases. Based on the presented model, the relevant criteria with discrete coefficients are determined for the two individual criteria and job criteria. Individual criteria were obtained through library studies and partial selection into three managerial, social, and technical groups. Occupational criteria were selected based on the results of one of the studies. To determine the coefficients of the principal and sub-individual criteria, the simple and fuzzy AHP method is used to determine occupational criteria, respectively, and the simple and fuzzy AHP paired scales To determine the coefficients of job criteria. Finally, each employee is given scores (maximum 5) on each of the occupational and individual criteria. Employee rankings are based on the coefficients of individual and occupational criteria as well as the points earned, using TOPSIS algorithm. The final score of each employee is calculated based on the average score of two points obtained by the TOPSIS method. All of the above steps are designed in the TOPSIS format of an Excel spreadsheet decision support system with VB programming language and at Qaladze Bank level, which consists of 75 employees and 10 departments. In order to execute the model more accurately, it is recommended that a person or group be consulted on all the jobs of the organization to comment on all the coefficients of the available jobs in the organization to make assertions about the business coefficients that underlie the proposed model. Also add a 360-degree evaluation method to measure people from different perspectives.

Design and Development of the Intelligent Process System for Marine Shafting

In order to realize the automation of shipbuilding industry and the integration of products, this paper develops an intelligent process system for the marine shafting based on modular design to obtain the automatic generation of process documents and the construction of enterprise’s database. The intelligent process system is established by VB programming language, which based on the object-oriented visual programming language. The structure of the intelligent process system is modeled by design philosophy, which is easy to combine object-oriented programming with modular design philosophy. The structure of the intelligent process system is divided into knowledge base/database module, automatic drawing module and process planning module. The marine shafting of a large container ship is adopted to verify the rationality of the intelligent process system. Design parameters is input in the user interface, then the technical files of the marine shafting are generated that can be used for guiding the process of manufacture. Technical files are unified and managed by database of the intelligent process system. The intelligent process system realizes the automatic management of product files. The example shows the system increases the enterprise’s degree of information and automation and also improve the competitiveness of enterprise in the market.

Meshless method simulation and experimental investigation of crack propagation of CBM hydraulic fracturing

For simulating CoalBed Methane (CBM) hydraulic fracturing using 3-D meshless method, this paper analyzed the hydraulic fracturing mechanism and cracking form for coal rock and established the geometric and mathematical models of hydraulic fracturing propagation in coal rock in terms of the Hillerborg model on crack opening displacement theory. With the theoretical basis of hydromechanics, the formulas for calculating hydraulic pressure inside the fracture by numerical simulation were deduced from the analysis on this fluid-structure interaction problem. The geometric and mathematical models established above were described by 3-D meshless Galerkin (EFG, Element-Free Galerkin) method and compiled into the numerical simulation program using VB and FORTRAN programming language to simulate the fracture propagation for an actual coal rock sample with a drilling hole as an example. Then the physical simulation experiment of hydraulic fracturing propagation of coal seam was conducted on the same coal rock sample. Through the direct observation with naked eyes and detection by advanced instruments of ESEM and Micro-CT, the shape and parameters of cracks on the surface of and inside the coal rock sample were achieved, which indicated that experimental results are reasonably consistent with numerical simulation results.

Development of the Software for Ball Nut Grinding Process Based on Siemens 840D System

Based on the analysis of the grinding model and grinding process of ball nut, the grinding process software for ball nut is developed by using VB programming language and Access database technology. Afterwards, the software is integrated into the Siemens SINUMERIK 840D System. As a result, it realizes the database management of grinding parameters and the automatic generation of machining program, thereby simplifying the process of CNC operation and improving the production efficiency greatly.

Study and Prediction of Flow and Heat Transfer Characteristics in Tube with Wire Coil Inserts of Heat Exchangers

Based on experimental data, this study presents an application of artificial neural networks (ANNs) to predict the heat transfer rate of the wire-in-tube type heat exchanger. A back propagation algorithm, the most common learning method for ANNs, is used in the training and testing of the network. The ANNs can get rid of the complex simulation and numerical simulation, this method is simple. To solve this algorithm, a computer program was developed by using VB programming language. The consistence between experimental and ANNs approach results was achieved by a mean absolute relative error <8%. It is suggested that the ANNs model is an easy modeling tool for engineering performance prediction of heat transfer equipment, high precision, reliable prediction results.

The paper used AutoCAD as a develop studio, and discussed CHNN and its mapping to layout and optimize the weight of CHNN by genetic algorithm. The core program adopted VB program language and developed the intelligent layout system. Sample analysis shows the results that the system has good man-machine interfaces, interactive features, high speed and quality retention of solution.

In order to solve this problem, the paper proposed a new kind of algorithm combining CHNN and genetic algorithm. The paper used AutoCAD as a develop studio, and discussed CHNN and its mapping to layout and optimize the weight of CHNN by genetic algorithm. The kernel program adopted VB program language and developed the intelligent layout system. With the input of layout parts graphics and layout parameter, the system preprocessed graphics and gave layout results automatically. Crampoon Parametrization Design Based on Further Development of SolidWorks

SolidWorks is a popular 3D design software．The characteristics and developing methods of SolidWorks which 3D design software are introduced, and studies the process of parametric design on SolidWorks software by using VB programming language, as well as the technologies of elaborating the program with API functions. And then combine with the crampoon elaborating the principle of process-driven method. When designing the large crampoon, we use the parametric design method to auto-form the 3D target crampoon model by constructing a interface software protype with which the crampoon demension parameters can be converted into some related program variables. That method not only improves the crampoon design efficiency and accuracy, but also provides some useful referenced experience to parametrical system design of other parts. Parametrization design has a wide application prospect in the field of mechanical parts designing.

Study on the Intelligent Design System of Square Tube Aluminum Profile Extrusion Processes Based on VB

According to the similar characteristics of structure, geometry and constraints conditions in the same type of extrusion process, the intelligent design system of a square tube aluminum profile extrusion forming process was established in this paper based on the VB programming language, with using parametric programming language APDL provides by ANSYS software. The parameterized optimization design plan of pre-treatment and post-processing of ANSYS analysis during a square tube aluminum extrusion forming process was achieved, and the program of a three-dimensional model of the extrusion die under Visual Lisp environment was also programmed. The human-computer interaction intelligent design system which combined with pre-processing of semi-finished product, finite element analysis of extrusion die strength, extrusion die temperature field analysis, structural optimization of the die was realized. The research results show that the system can provide program decision-making, structural design, performance analysis and graphics treatment for the actual extrusion productions of square tube aluminum extrusion process, which reduced the design time of the technical staff, and saved design cost.

A Machine Tool Fixture Library Management System Based on Assembly Knowledge Description

Based on Group Technology, a machine tool fixture library management system based on assembly knowledge description is put forward to maximize the reuse of fixture design knowledge and experience. According to GT classification results, fixture parts are divided into standard ones and non-standard ones. To support parametric assembly, a reuse library is used for parametric standard part design. For the non-standard parts, second development technology is used to realize their parametric design based on 3D model templates. Parametric assembly design is achieved based on assembly relation description. SolidWorks platform, VB programming language and Access database are used to develop the system that includes feature-based parameter-driven parts and assemblies for machine tool fixtures.

A popular science tour digital map in Northeast was made with the MapX controls, which is a popular GIS development tool designed from the VB program language. Several key technologies for the design and production of the electrical map were discussed. The development of popular science tour digital map in Northeast has practical values for tourism developments.

Remote monitoring and control of horticultural cool storage over the Internet

AbstractIn this article, a distributed architecture that allows remote control and monitoring of horticultural cool storage (HCS) is presented. The various stages in the design and implementation of system for monitoring temperature and relative humidity and controlling HCS environment conditions are presented and discussed. The required hardware include a microcontroller and accompanying electronic circuitry, a server computer, serial port, temperature and relative humidity sensors and two actuators. Microcontroller transfers the sensors data to the server via serial port. Both the client and the server side programs are coded in VB programming language. They use VB MSComm control in order to communicate with the microcontroller. Internet communications is relied on socket programming. Winsock is used for network communications via the TCP/IP protocol. Sockets are configured to listen to a data port or to connect and then transmit to a remote one. Consequently information can be easily and reliably transmitted, monitored and/or controlled by the two machines. The performance of system was evaluated for 2 weeks and the results were quite satisfactory.
