Efficient use of agricultural tractors is largely determined by the operating modes of its power units. Taking into account the variable nature of external loads, it is necessary to provide structural devices in the tractor, which smooth out changes in hook load, thus reducing the negative impact of external conditions on the operation of its power plant. The present paper is devoted to the design of a tractor attachment with variable characteristics. The methods of studying the variable traction force are analyzed on the output parameters of the technological process, as well as on the power and economic indicators of the power unit. Force analysis of the proposed attachment device is carried out and formulas are obtained to determine the forces and moments at the characteristic points of the device. The paper is of interest to engineers and technicians involved in the creation of promising design schemes for tractor tractors of various operational purposes.
