Bibliographical study of a qualitative and quantitative nature that aims to map the scientific production of Physical Education on adapted physical activity, quality of life and health for people with disabilities, from 2011 to 2022. It analyzes the profile of publications in relation to the year publication, geographic region, institution, authors, target audience, theme and methodological approach. The survey was carried out in the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel. The results indicate: 1) The predominance of publications between the years 2011 to 2016; 2) The Southeast as the only region to produce studies on the subject; 3) The State University of Campinas as the institution with the highest number of publications; 4) The quality of life and the insertion of people with disabilities in society as the central focus of studies; 5) The predominance of qualitative studies. It is suggested to expand experimental research in different Brazilian states and regions, focusing on interpreting the benefits of adapted physical activity to promote the independence and autonomy of people with disabilities, as a way of coping with the adversities encountered in everyday life, produced by an exclusionary society.
