Analisis Biaya Satuan Pendidikan di SMK SAIS 1 Kabupaten Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021

The progress of a nation can be seen from its human resources. A smart nation will use its resources effectively and efficiently. Based on Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System Article 3 concerning the Functions and Objectives of National Education, Article 31 of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, Government Regulation Number 19 of 2005 concerning National Education Standards and Number 65 of 2005 concerning Service Standards, Government Regulations Number 19 of 2005 concerning National Education Standards Article 62 of the cost of Education and Government Regulation number 57 of 2021 concerning National Education Standards chapter IX of Financing Standards Article 32, the education above is the basis for the development of national education. Quality improvement is one of the pillars of education development in Indonesia. Quality education will produce quality and competitive human resources.
 The unit cost of education per student describes in detail the burden of students during their education at school. The unit burden of each student will be matched with subsidies from the central government, local government, and the community so that it can be seen the amount of burden that must be borne by students. The unit cost of education per student will be the basis of school financial accountability to the public and the basis for decision making. With a detailed and transparent calculation, it will provide information on the costs that must be incurred by schools to be able to provide educational services and the amount of additional funds from the community to cover costs if school income from the government and other assistance is not sufficient so that it is easy to encourage community participation in terms of funding for school.
 SMK SAIS 1 Kab. Bandung is one of the schools in Bandung Regency. There are two skill programs at SMK SAIS 1 Kab. Bandung, namely Health and Marketing Analyst. At SMK SAIS 1 Kab. Bandung there is no analysis of the Unit Cost of Education. The calculation of the cost of the education unit is required by the school in determining the costs of providing education that must be borne by each student.

Cost Analysis of Vocational School Education Unit in Mechanical Engineering Expertise Competency by Using Activity-Based Costing Method

This study aims to determine: 1) the percentage of cost allocation for activities in SMK N 3 Yogyakarta and SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta and 2) the comparison of the education cost unit of each student, level, and year in the competency of mechanical engineering expertise in SMK N 3 Yogyakarta and SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. The location of this research was in two vocational schools that have mechanical engineering expertise competencies in Yogyakarta City, i.e., SMK N 3 Yogyakarta and SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. The object of this research was the cost unit of education at SMK N 3 Yogyakarta and SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. This research was a quantitative descriptive study. The interview and documentation were utilized as data collection techniques. The data analysis used an activity-based costing method. The results of this study indicated that: (1) the percentages of cost allocation for each activity at SMK N 3 Yogyakarta are teaching and learning activities 64%, students’ activities 10%, infrastructure management activities 8%, school administration activities 7%, school management activities 4 %, non-HR school development activities 4%, and HR school development activities 2%. Meanwhile, the percentages of cost allocation at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta are teaching and learning activities 35%, school administration 34%, school management activities 12%, infrastructure management activities 7%, student activities 7%, HR school development activities 4% and non-HR school development activities 1%. (2) the unit cost of education for each mechanical engineering expertise competency student, level, and year at SMK N 3 Yogyakarta for the 10th grade is Rp10.342.809, the 11th grade is Rp9.255.154, and the 12th grade is Rp11.120.704. Whereas at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta for the 10th grade is Rp 12.244.183, the 11th grade is Rp11.598.900, and the 12th grade is Rp13.738.086.

THE BUDGET CALCULATION WITH TWO-PHASE REGRESSION TO ESTIMATE THE AFFORDABLE COSTS OF EDUCATION IN SERANG CITY

In the era of regional autonomy, the costs of basic education is the responsibility of the district/city. The dominant factors that triggered the education expenses consist of teacher salaries, employer salaries, material and operational costs, and administrative costs. The calculation of basic education costs in this study is focusing on all Junior High School (SMP) in Serang city, as many as 56 schools, consisting of 23 public schools and 33 private schools. This study began with the budget review to estimate the SchoolBudget Plan (RAPBS). It was conducted with the aim to estimate the costs of education over the next five years. Estimated costs werecalculated by the method of regression trend exponentially through two phases. To achieve these objectives, the empirical method was used with survey approach. Based on a review of all RAPBS, every component in every school has a different fee scale. The results of budget estimation for junior high schools in Serang City are in the range of Rp.6.131.250.000- Rp.6.699.240.000; with a unit cost of education per student per year is Rp.455.556-Rp.517.378. Public investment and the goal of providing universal access to primary education by 2015 in Kenya

Abstract The authors use population census data to project school enrolment for Kenya. They also employ current education sector budget and national revenue base statistics to model the sector budget and to forecast the revenue base growth required to sustain universal primary education (UPE). The 2003 fiscal year unit cost of education is used as the base value for computing the budget needed to fund UPE through 2015, the year by which the international community aims to achieve UPE. The authors apply econometric analysis in exploring the policy implications for the education sector budget and capacity for revenue generation that would support the budgetary growth needed.
