Perancangan Aplikasi Kamus Air Traffic Control Berbasis Mobile Android

This study discusses the Air Traffic Controller dictionary where this dictionary will discuss all the initials that have developed in the world of air police, which so far all information about the rules in regulating flights is only in written form (Manual Dictionary). The purpose of this study is to help air transportation speed directors recall some of the existing definitions in the world of aviation, so that it is hoped that there will be no more misunderstandings between pilots and air transportation speed controllers. The method used by the author is the waterfall method, where the flow is Analysis, Design, Implementation and testing. The Unified Modeling Language design will help readers understand this research. The results of this study illustrate that the application can run on an Android mobile device.

A deep learning-based approach to similarity calculation for UML use case models

Unified Modeling Language (UML) models are main artifacts of software applications and valuable assets of software projects. The similarity calculation of UML models is an effective way to model reuse, model validation, model retrieval and pattern detection, which can help developers reduce development cost. Existing studies mainly focus on UML design models such as class diagrams and object diagrams. Yet, there is little research on calculating similarity for use case models despite their importance for software requirements reuse and validation. Thus, this paper proposes a similarity calculation approach for UML use case models. This approach first transforms the use case models into use case graphs and then adopts the deep learning technique — Similarity Graph Neural Network (SimGNN) to calculate the structural similarity between use case graphs. Then it calculates the semantic similarity of use case models with Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) and Cosine similarity. Finally it syntheses the results of semantic similarity and structural similarity of use case graphs. The effectiveness and efficiency of this approach was evaluated by comparing to two other approaches: (1) Cosine similarity+TF-IDF and (2) Cosine similarity+edit distance. The results showed that the our approach has better performance in terms of both effectiveness and efficiency.

Information System for Integrated Administrative Services at the District Office of Seberang Ulu Satu Palembang City

Seberang Ulu Satu District of Palembang City is a government institution whose duties include serving community needs in terms of administrative data, in this case specifically regarding licensing and non-licensing services, public complaints and hearse lending services. Based on the observations results, it is found that the mechanism for submitting and managing administrative documents at the Seberang Ulu Satu District office still had some obstacles, such as difficulties for residents to get information about service administration requirements, the requirement for residents to come directly to the office and queues for residents to submit letters applications for both licensing and non-licensing, complaints and borrowing hearses. To overcome this, the authors will design an integrated administrative service information system for Seberang Ulu Satu District, Palembang City using the waterfall software development method, as well as the UML (Unified Modeling Language) design system model which includes use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. The end result is building an integrated administrative service information system at the Seberang Ulu Satu District office, Palembang City, which can help and facilitate the process of Integrated Administrative Services for Seberang Ulu Satu District, Palembang City.

Prototype and Application Implementation of Domestic and Foreign Labor Distribution

In today's globalized world, many people are looking for domestic and international work for various reasons, such as higher salaries and better work experience. This application will assist job seekers in finding suitable job vacancies. With their skills and interests, as well as helping companies find candidates that suit their needs, information on job vacancies in the country and abroad. In the initial phase of developing this application, an application prototype will be created that includes the main features of this application. These features include information on job vacancies in the country and abroad, a job search system based on skills and interests, and a system design method using UML (Unified Modeling Language) design. This modeling is a system implementation of how to put a strategy into an image (visual) in the form of a diagram. This model facilitates the making of an application program or implementation and can be used in the long term, not only at this time but continuously and continuously. Designing Dynamic Informed Consent For Public Health Research

Abstract Background Current dynamic consent software available is not all tailored for public health research and lacks the appropriate data governance framework and mechanisms to be compliant with public health research requirements. This paper presents the UML modelling of the Dynamic Consent for Public Health (DC4PH), a dynamic consent platform being designed for the Canadian public health domain Methods The proposed platform incorporates data governance and public health stakeholders’ requirements into its design and is based on state-of-the-art standards and solutions. Diagrams created in UML reflect the mapped requirements and demonstrate the capabilities of our dynamic consent proposed data structure. We also incorporated private ledger entities in our modelling to provide an immutable log of dynamic consent for stakeholders and improve transparency and trust between them. Results A series of UML assets were created based on previous mapping of the public health research domain, public health principles, and data governance requirements. Use case diagrams for each type of user of the platform, state diagrams of key business objects vital for the platform's enhancement of traditional consent, and state diagrams of the actor's possible states. Flowchart of the core platform's functionalities, such as the dynamic consent approval process. And a class diagram of the proposed platform that incorporates all the previously mentioned domain mapping and binds it with optional private ledger properties. Conclusions This work offers a comprehensive and extensible UML design that is being used to develop the DC4PH platform. The paper concludes that the design has the potential to improve the efficiency and efficacy of informed consent collection in public health research projects of small or large scales while also being capable of complying with data governance requirements, healthcare standards, and ledger technologies. Key messages • Dynamic informed consent still lacks appropriate scrutiny over the underlining data structures utilized to store and manage dynamic consent. • Our work proposes a design in Unified Modelling Language (UML), of dynamic informed consent based on public health's domain mapping, data governance and public health research requirements.

Implementasi Extreme Programming Pada Perancangan Sistem Informasi Penjualan Buku Menggunakan Java

Technology is needed by humans to facilitate all activities carried out so that they are fast and practical, besides that technology is used as a solution to problems in conventional systems. Conventional sales activities experience several problems such as recording activities, insecure archiving, manual calculations and loss of transaction data. From these problems, the purpose of this study is to design a sales information system, namely object-based book sales transactions in order to minimize errors and produce the information needed by users effectively and efficiently. The method used is Extreme Programming which is very suitable for developing and building object-oriented applications. This method has stages in the method including planning carried out problem finding and needs analysis, the design consists of system design with UML (Unified Modeling Language) and ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) database design, coding in the form of application menu displays, testing with blackbox testing and software increase. The design of an OOP-based book sales information system using the Extreme Programming method is expected to help and facilitate users in managing data, sales transactions and reports.
 

DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT LEARNING MEDIA BASED ON MEDICAL RECORD INFORMATION SYSTEM

In order to improve the quality and quantity of the learning process, the Medical Records Laboratory has supporting facilities, so that each student can carry out the practice of managing medical record documents and information in accordance with their competence. Information technology-based information systems are currently not available in the Medical Records Laboratory, so that when students do practicum it is not effective and efficient, therefore the availability of information technology-based information systems needs to exist. This study aims to determine the design of information systems, and build a medical record laboratory information system at Medica Farma Husada Mataram Polytechnic, including: Old and alternative system design, Database Design, ERD (Entity Relational Diagram), UML (Unified Modeling Language) Design, Interface Implementation. This research is qualitative research using the waterfall method. The results showed that the hierarchy of the information system for the Medical Records Laboratory of the Medica Farma Husada Mataram Polytechnic was made by the Php program and was also accompanied by the use of a MySQL database integrated with a good security system. The process consists of Patient Registration, Polyclinic Data Collection, Doctor Data Collection, Drug Data Collection, and the Output consists of Patient data reports, Print Out Pasie data, Polyclinic data reports, Doctor data reports, Drug Data Reports. The conclusion of this research is that the design of an information system-based Medical Records Laboratory consists of 3 menus, namely patients, doctors and medical records officers.

Improving information system design: Using UML and axiomatic design

A unified view of the Information System (IS) design is essential for dealing with complexity. However, the literature proposes many denominations, depending on the layer, methodology, framework, or tool. This multitude of approaches does not allow a holistic view of the system. Besides, in Information Systems, the search for good practices in design is still a relevant issue. A subset of essential Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams is chosen to create a broad view of the IS. CRUD matrix is one of the preferred approaches to articulate the sub-systems of applications and data. Axiomatic Design (AD) provides rules for the improvement of the IS design. This work presents a method to create object-oriented elements based on the CRUD matrix aligned with the business strategy. An integrated student-based case study on logistics is provided. In the discussion, a new IS architect role is proposed supported by the CRUD/AD method.

Goods Inventory Card System Design Using The Unified Modeling Language (UML) of Department Libraries and Archives at Medan City

Government Regulation Number 27 of 2014 concerning Processing of State/Regional Owned Goods is intended to support the development of an area where state assets or goods are held based on the results of an appropriate needs analysis and meet the efficiency principle. Asset management Libraries and Archives Department at Medan City. But until now the local asset management in the Department of Library and Archives Medan City Government has not had asset management information system that supports accordance with Regulation No. 17 Year 2007 Chapter VII of the administration of section 25 which contains the data collection activities, inventory and reporting. Based on the above requires a management information system design goods and assets in order to facilitate the work in developing SIMBADA existing system. The system development process uses Waterfall and UML design methods as system business process development tools. The results of the design has been made known that the design of this system can meet the asset management process in accordance with Regulation No. 17 Year 2007.

Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru Berbasis Website Dengan Metode Spiral

Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) is an annual agenda for every institution or educational institution in order to accept new students in its environment. Often these agencies or institutions often experience problems in managing the administration of new students, one of which is Raudhatul Athfal Sirojul Falah. The problems that occur in administrative matters include the frequent problems of inputting new student data and it is not organized so that the data becomes difficult to find. So that in this study a PPDB information system will be created to solve this problem. The information system that will be created is in the form of a UML (Unified Modeling Language) design, ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram), and LRS (Logical Record Structure) as well as a website with the PHP programming language, CodeIgniter framework, and bootstrap library. The result of this research is the construction of a PPDB information system at RA Sirojul Falah in the form of a website using the spiral method with the hope of helping the PPDB RA Sirojul Falah committee in managing new student data effectively and efficiently.

Automatic extraction of product line architecture and feature models from UML class diagram variants

Abstract Context Software Product Lines (SPLs) are families of related products developed for specific domains. SPLs commonly emerge from existing variants when their individual maintenance and/or evolution become complex. Even though there exists a vast research literature on SPL extraction, the majority of the approaches have only focused on source code, are partially automated, or do not reflect domain constraints. Such limitations can make more difficult the extraction, management, documentation and generation of some important SPL artifacts such as the product line architecture, a fact that can impact negatively the evolution and maintenance of SPLs. Objective To tackle these limitations, this work presents ModelVars2SPL (Model Variants to SPL Core Assets), an automated approach to aid the development of SPLs from existing system variants. Method The input for ModelVars2SPL is a set of Unified Modeling Language (UML) class diagrams and the list of features they implement. The approach extracts two main assets: (i) Feature Model (FM), which represents the combinations of features, and (ii) a Product Line Architecture (PLA), which represents a global structure of the variants. ModelVars2SPL is composed of four automated steps. We conducted a thorough evaluation of ModelVars2SPL to analyze the artefacts it generates and its performance. Results The results show that the FMs well-represent the features organization, providing useful information to define and manage commonalities and variabilities. The PLAs show a global structure of current variants, facilitating the understanding of existing implementations of all variants. Conclusions An advantage of ModelVars2SPL is to exploit the use of UML design models, that is, it is independent of the programming language, and supports the re-engineering process in the design level, allowing practitioners to have a broader view of the SPL.

The Design of Population Data Application Using Unified Modeling Language

Population data collection at the sub-district level still uses a manual system. It is causing less efficient time. In this study the application of population data is generated in the sub-district, using web applications and using the Unified Modeling Language design. With the above considerations, we need a system that can solve population data problems. With this application, it is expected that it will facilitate the processing of population data. This new application can accelerate the process of population registration with the help of human resources who can run it. Advice needed human resources that can run the application properly.

The rapid development of technology in various field, including the field of electronic, necessity of facility and comfort in controlling the electric devices are important, especially in controlling and monitoring the lamps. Nowdays society can control the electrical devices only with the switch connected by cabel. Then, it is needed a control system and monitoring lamps automatically. One of the systems is using micro controller. Based on the problems identified in Computer Sciences Faculty, system for controlling and monitoring lamps hasn�t� run efectivelly because it still uses manual and it has not got the lamps should be burn. Method of software development used in this research is Rational Unified Process (RUP) method by using design of Unified Modeling Language (UML) such as using case diagram, scenario, activity diagram, class diagram dan sequence diagram. Meanwhile, the problem solving method is using Fuzzy Logic method. System of controlling and monitoring the lamps built by fuzzy logic method is efective automaticallty. PANDUAN LAPANGAN JENIS KUPU-KUPU DI LINGKUNGAN UNIVERSITAS LAMPUNG BERBASIS ANDROID

This study aims to design and build a Field-Guide Application of Butterflies’ Species at University of Lampung based on Android. This application is expected to be used as a means of information to determine the classification, family, local name, morphology, butterflies’ food and the benefits of butterflies at University of Lampung. This study uses Waterfall Method and design of Unified Modeling Language (UML), as well as using Black Box Testing to test functional and application. Data in this study consisted of primary data including name of butterfly families, local names, butterfly images (caterpillar, butterfly), descriptions of butterfly species; and secondary data including information about the application, families, local names, butterfly images and descriptions of butterflies (sub-family, genus, species, wingspan, flying speed and food) at University of Lampung. This study uses 5 categories of families and 37 species of butterflies at University of Lampung.The result of the research shows: Equivalence Partitioning Testing result shows that the Application Butterfly of Unila is compatible with all Android OS versions with minimum requirements are 4.0 inch, 4.5 inch, 5.0 inch, 5.5 to 6 inch resolution and based on the classes tested, it indicates that Application Butterfly of Unila works properly.The average of user friendly user ratings obtained is 4.11 included in either category. The average assessment of the interactive variables obtained is 4.08 included in either category. The result of testing data based on user friendly and interactive variable indicates that the application is included in category of Good and tend to Very Good.

Robotic System for Automation of Water Quality Monitoring and Feeding in Aquaculture Shadehouse

This paper describes the implementation of an event-based Internet robotic system to monitor water quality and feed crayfish in a shadehouse, guided by a model-based development methodology. The robotic system consists of a mobile robot to transport a water multiparameter sonde and six containers for distributing food onto the pond surface, a dispatcher unit to dispense a precise amount of food from the containers, and a computer running as a server to define, over the Internet, the feeding and monitoring schedule through a client application. The development methodology starts by making an abstract functionality model to accomplish the tasks. Next, the functionality model is described using the unified modeling language (UML) that specifies the structure and behavior of the system components. Later, the methodology translates the UML dynamic description depicted by statechart diagrams into Petri net (PN) formalism. PN models are merged and analyzed based on their behavioral properties to validate the design as a stable event-based Internet system. Following the UML and PN designs, the robotic system is implemented. Local and remote experiments were performed to show the usefulness of the robot operation via the Internet for intensive cultivation of the freshwater redclaw crayfish ( <italic xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">Cherax quadricarinatus</i> ).

Generating UML Sequence Diagrams from Use Case Maps: A Model Transformation Approach

Use case map (UCM) is a modeling language designed to bridge the gap between requirements and high-level design artifacts. UCM graphical models describe functional requirements as scenarios using a structure of components. UCM specifies multiple scenarios abstractly in a single integrated view that facilitates understanding of the system-to-be and the early detection of inconsistent scenarios. However, once requirements have been expressed as scenarios, unified modeling language (UML) sequence diagrams are suitable for developing and presenting the details of interactions and help in the transition to a more formal level of refinement. Typically, system analysts are responsible for this transition, and they usually perform it manually, which makes subsequent design models prone to mistakes. As a result, system analysts may design an application that does not accurately realize the behavior specified in UCMs. There is therefore a need to develop a technique to transform UCM models to UML design artifacts. UML sequence diagrams are one of the most popular UML artifacts for dynamic modeling. In this paper, we present a model transformation approach from UCM notation to a UML sequence diagram to facilitate the transition from requirements to high-level design artifacts. We also present an application of the proposed model transformation to an elevator control system.

Aspect-oriented modeling framework for security hardening

Aspect-oriented modeling (AOM) emerged as a promising paradigm for handling crosscutting concerns, such as security, at the software modeling level. Most existing AOM contributions are presented from a practical perspective and lack formal syntax and semantics. In this paper, we present a practical and formal AOM framework for software security hardening. Our contributions are threefold. First, we define an AOM approach for the specification of security aspects at the unified modeling language (UML) design level. Second, we design and implement the matching and the weaving processes into UML design models. Third, we elaborate formal specifications for aspect matching and weaving in UML activity diagrams. Finally, we demonstrate the viability and the relevance of our propositions using a case study. The proposed framework is supported by a tool built on top of IBM-Rational Software Modeler.

An Ameliorated Methodology to Abstract Object Oriented Features from Programming System

In software testing through reverse engineering, the programming semiotics are to be transformed to Unified Modeling Language (UML) semiotics. This process needs the abstraction of UML syntactics, semantics from the programming system. As a preamble, this paper attempts to develop an automated methodology to abstract object oriented technology (OOT) components required for the class diagram from the programming system to be tested for its correctness & completeness. The methodology comprises of initial classing & slicing the programming system on the referenced attributes of the entry with no defined attributes and then using the sole referenced entry and sole defined entry on these sliced programming units the candidate key/s are identified which are used to find individual object structure of the class in our classing technique. The programming system is sliced based on individual class structure and then these slices are used to obtain the object methods through whose nature of the parameters we identify the interrelationship between the classes and their types. The intermediate clairvoyant study of parameter indicates the visibility of the object methods. This paper contains the detailed procedure for each method of our automated methodology. Therefore, their correctness and completeness is self evident. The proposed procedures are based on sound logical positivism and implicitly incorporate good database design and good software engineering principles. This paper reengineers the programming system into various appropriate UML design diagrams so as to reduce the enormity of the syntactics and semantics of programming language into limited syntactics and semantics. This enables to develop the correct and complete software testing methodology.
