PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN LITERASI KEUANGAN PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

MI KH Badrussalam is one of the educational institutions at the elementary level located in Malang City. This madrasah has been established since 1926 during the colonial period. In 2022, MI KH Badrussalam has a total of 52 students and 7 teachers. One of the problems of this madrasah related to students is the lack of students' understanding of financial literacy. This is due to the unfavorable economic conditions of the family, so that many financial literacy practices cannot be carried out optimally. However, this does not stop madrasah from continuing to try to grow students' skills in managing finances. Based on the description of the problems above, the PPM team provides training related to financial literacy to increase students' understanding of good financial management. There are three methods that will be used in this activity, namely lecture, discussion and question and answer. The PPM team and partners believe that this training on financial literacy can provide benefits for both parties. The result of this training is that students' knowledge and skills regarding financial literacy increase.

The Influence of Financial Literacy, Pocket Money, and Lifestyle on the Financial Behavior of College Students who Use Online Shopping Platforms

This study aimed to determine the effect of financial literacy, pocket money, and lifestyle on the financial behavior of students who use online shopping platforms at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram. This study uses primary data from questionnaires to 120 respondents who are active students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram, and students who use online shopping platforms such as Shopee and TikTok Shop. The method used is quantitative research with multiple linear regression analysis on the IBM SPSS software application version 25. This study concluded that financial literacy and pocket money positively and significantly affect the financial behavior of students who use online shopping platforms. This means that the better the understanding of financial literacy and the higher the amount of pocket money owned, the better the students' financial behavior. However, lifestyle does not affect students' financial behavior using online shopping platforms. This means that a high or low lifestyle does not affect students' financial behavior using online shopping platforms

Pengaruh Insentif Pajak, Literasi Keuangan Terhadap Keberlangsungan Usaha Pelaku UMKM di Parungpanjang

The rapid growth of MSME in Parungpanjang region is not accompanied by awareness of paying taxes and having an understanding of financial literacy, it will be an effect on their business development. The purpose of this study is determining the effect of Tax Incentives, Financial Literacy on Business Sustainability of MSME in Parungpanjang. This study uses all MSME who were registered as taxpayers, sampling method using saturated contained in Non-Probability Sampling. This saturated sampling technique chosen because the number of MSME actors registered as taxpayers in Parungpanjang limited, therefore sample study 64 of MSME. Method analysis is processed using linear regression. The results of the simultaneous test of tax incentives and financial literacy have a significant effect on business continuity. Tax incentives has an effect business continuity. Financial literacy also has an effect on business continuity, this research proves that the level of education plays an important role because it increases financial literacy and understanding of finances in running a business. Apart from that, tax payments by MSME can encourage business continuity with additional capital provided by assistance from the government.

Early Childhood Economic Education Model to Suppress Consumerism

The International Community Service held in the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School aims to increase students' understanding of Financial Literacy. Departing from the phenomenon of the lack of outreach to early childhood and elementary school students regarding the importance of saving and the high level of consumerism in today's society, educators (lecturers) and students from the University of North Sumatra through presentations, discussions, and simulation on how to use a savings book tries to introduce how the concept of Financial Literacy in a simple way, how to distinguish wants or needs and how to manage finances to students who are in the Indonesian School of Kuala Lumpur. This project aims to support students' knowledge about it. The urgency to introduce the concept of financial literacy education to children, especially preschool and elementary students, will make children accustomed to managing finances properly and correctly in the future. Implementing this program is expected to increase students' knowledge of financial literacy, increase their enthusiasm to be more sensitive to economic conditions, and encourage them to get used to a culture of saving to avoid excessive consumerism in the future.

MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN KUALITAS PELAYANAN DOSEN, PENGARUHNYA PADA LITERASI KEUANGAN MAHASISWA AKUNTANSI UNIVERSITAS PATTIMURA

Financial literacy focuses on understanding and implementing financial concepts it in real life. This study aims to examine the influence of learning motivation and service quality of lecturers on student financial literacy. These two variables are very rarely investigated by previous studies. To answer these questions quantitative research methods using the SPSS application. Questionnaires used to be processed with SPSS to answer research questions from as many as 192 respondents. 192 respondents were Pattimura University accounting students who were studying in the even semester of 2022/2023 and were willing to voluntarily become respondents. The results show that motivation affects literacy while the financial quality of lecturer services does not affect financial literacy. Thus, the lecturer always fosters a spirit of student motivation in the activities of each lecture so that students continue to increase their understanding of financial literacy

Children's understanding of financial literacy and parents' choice of financial knowledge learning methods in Malaysia

Financial literacy is an essential lifelong skill that should be taught to children at any age. It holds the key to develop a generation of adults who are knowledgeable about money and the economy. Additionally, OECD (2018) suggests that using digital tools could significantly enhance financial literacy and well-being. Therefore, this paper aims to:(i)assess the financial literacy level of primary school children in the northern region of Malaysia and(ii)explore interactive and engaging methods for teaching financial literacy.The sample size was determined using Krejcie and Morgan's (1970) approach, resulting in 419 primary school students aged 7 to 12 and their parents. An online questionnaire was employed, and multi-regression analysis was conducted.The findings highlighted those primary students displayed a high level of financial literacy, scoring above 80 % on the questionnaire. Furthermore, parents expressed a preference for their children to enroll in personal finance subjects offered by schools, have financial assignments or activities at school, and engage in online financial games. The study emphasized the crucial roles of schools, teachers, and active parental involvements to enhance financial literacy. This study recommends incorporating interactive and attractive teaching methods through in-class and online activities at the school level.

Personal Finance Management Skills and Financial Sustainability Literacy Knowledge of Generation Y: An Empirical Analysis in Lithuania

Purpose
 
 We research Generation Y personal finance management skills by integrating three financial literacy measurement perspectives: financial knowledge, behaviour, and attitude towards sustainability.
 
 Design/methodology/approach
 
 A financial literacy measurement approach aligned with the OECD methodologies and comparative approach to evaluate the financial literacy competence of the Lithuanian youth (N=426) in the global context were applied. Analysis of variance using Levene’s test for equality of variances and t-test for equality of means were employed to check for the differences in Generation Y financial literacy patterns. The correlation between all three financial literacy perspectives was evaluated.
 
 Findings
 
 The results unfold Lithuanian millennials’ intermediate level financial literacy competence: moderate financial knowledge, positive financial behaviour, and more positive financial attitude towards sustainability, where the latter exceeds the global sustainability concern. Furthermore, our tests indicate the differences in Generation Y financial knowledge in terms of gender and education and the differences in their attitude on financial sustainability in terms of gender, education, income source, and monthly income. Moreover, our research evidences the statistically significant proportional relationship between Generation Y financial behaviour and their attitude towards the sustainability principles application in the financial services.
 
 Originality/value
 
 In terms of financial literacy, global research extensively focuses on selected countries; Lithuania, the Baltic States, or Eastern and Central European countries are seldom considered. Previous research identifies the existing differences between age groups when evaluating their financial literacy and level of personal finance planning skills. In contrast, our research contributes to increasing the body of knowledge of financial sustainability literacy, and to a better understanding of financial literacy by shedding light on the patterns of Generation Y in Lithuania and provides roots for developing insights for both finance literacy policy makers and financial service providers.

Does Financial Literacy Matter in Cashless Payment Usage?

This study aims to examine the effect of social influence and effort expectancy on the intention to use and actual usage of cashless payment systems with financial literacy as moderating variable. To conduct this study questionnaires were distributed to all active accounting students at Airlangga University and from there, 128 research samples were obtained. The collected data were analyzed using WarpPLS 8.0. The results show that effort expectancy and social influence have a positive effect on the intention to use cashless payment systems. The result also shows that the intention to use cashless payment systems has a positive effect on the actual usage of cashless payment systems. In addition, the research results indicate that financial literacy does not moderate the effect of effort expectancy and social influence on the intention to use cashless payment. The results of this study are expected to provide insight and a better understanding of financial literacy and cashless payment system.

School Environment Impact on Entrepreneurial Intention Mediated By Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurial Characteristics

This latest research discusses the need for a better understanding of interest in entrepreneurship in vocational high school students. Financial literacy is knowledge needed by everyone (including vocational high school students) in everyday life. It consists of studying theory, mastering practical skills and developing financial thinking, all of which will make each of us financially successful.
 This study aims to analyze the importance of the school environment and understanding of financial literacy and entrepreneurial characteristics that mediate students' interest in entrepreneurship. The saturated sample in this study consisted of 41 class 11 vocational student respondents, with an age range of 16-18 years who participated in community service activities held by UPI YAI lecturers. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire survey which was carried out at the end of the presentation of the material by the lecturers with 45 question indicators.
 Structural Equation Model with Partial Least Square is an analytical technique used in this study. Testing path analysis with a measurement model (outer model) is carried out to find out the correctness of the answers given to the questions, namely measurements of internal consistency, convergent validity and discriminative validity, then proceed with testing the structural model (Inner Model). The results of the study show that the school environment has a direct effect on financial literacy and this financial literacy has an effect on the entrepreneurial characteristics of students. Meanwhile, the school environment and financial literacy have no effect on students' interest in entrepreneurship.
 This study shows that school environment, financial literacy and business characteristics can be valuable indicators to increase and trigger students' interest in entrepreneurship. These results can be used to guide policy makers where to place more emphasis on financial education for vocational

Peningkatan Literasi Keuangan Melalui Kreasi Celengan Hias Di Sekolah Dasar

Preliminary observation shows the low interest of children to do saving at school, which is indicated by the small number of students who save regularly every week. This, together with the lack of children's understanding of saving become the basis for the community service activity. This community service activity aims to educate school-age children to provide literacy about the benefits of saving, invite children to learn to set aside some of their money for savings, and increase children's creativity by decorating piggy banks. Activities were carried out for grade 5 and 6 students at SD Negeri Getan 02, Bulu, Sukoharjo. The results of this service activity show that elementary-age students can be given an understanding of financial literacy, especially saving, in a fun way where students are enthusiastic in listening to explanation, and have question and answer session. Furthermore, the activity of decorating piggy banks by drawing, and sticking both using paper and seeds can arouse student motivation related to increasing interest in saving which is part of an effort to build financial literacy from an early age.

Strengthening Financial Literacy to Raise Aware of Will Financial Planning and Management in Youth

The implementation of community service activities with the theme Strengthening Financial Literacy to Increase Awareness of Financial Planning and Management among Young People aims to make the younger generation and especially young people of the Samiddha Bhagya Temple Pematang Siantar City who as members of the community have better financial literacy knowledge. An understanding of financial literacy is expected to increase high awareness of the importance of making financial planning and implementing effective and efficient financial management. The method used in carrying out this activity is through face-to-face lectures and discussions. The sequence of this activity begins with an opening, and presentation of material, and continues with discussion. Participants were very appreciative of this activity because it provided an understanding of the importance of financial planning and financial management for future financial security.

Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Literasi Keuangan bagi Guru di Gugus V Mandara Giri Kec. Kubutambahan

There Group V Mandara Giri Kec. Kubutambahan is one of a collection of several elementary schools in the Kubutambahan District. Training in financial literacy is very important for every individual, one of which is the teachers in Cluster V Mandara Giri Kec. kubutambahan. Financial literacy really helps individuals to improve investment decisions, both in terms of the type of investment, where to invest, and the investment nominal that the individual will choose. This service is carried out through the Research and Community Service Center of the Satya Dharma College of Economics in collaboration with the Head of Cluster V Mandara Giri Kec. kubutambahan. In this community service activity, teachers in cluster V Mandara Giri Kec. kubutambahan, they were given financial literacy material, namely regarding investment. The results obtained from this activity can help teachers, in particular, to increase their understanding of financial literacy and investment decisions they have.

How do students’ digital financial literacy and financial confidence influence their financial behavior and financial well-being?

Purpose: An understanding of financial literacy is important not only for business actors but also for individuals and households; even there is a need to introduce this all-important skill to children early. There is a projection that the financial behavior of the young generation will have a better influence on the global economy than that of the previous generation. Therefore, it is crucial that today’s young generation understands financial literacy. This study aims to measure how digital financial literacy and financial confidence can influence both the financial behavior and financial well-being of the younger generation.
 Design/methodology/approach: The participants in this study are university students from all over Indonesia. This is a quantitative research project that uses online questionnaires, and the collected data is processed using structural equations mode-partial least squares (SEM-PLS) with the Smart-PLS application. Questionnaires have been distributed and obtained by 353 respondents to be processed by the Smart-PLS application.
 Finding: The result indicates that digital financial literacy has a significant effect on financial behavior, and financial behavior also has a significant effect on financial well-being. Meanwhile, financial confidence influences both financial well-being and financial behavior.
 Conclusion: This research contributes to the body of knowledge by providing information to the public about the importance of digital financial literacy for individuals to control their financial behaviour amidst the rapid growth of financial technology. Furthermore, the research findings are enriched with literature on digital financial literacy, which is still rarely studied. However, a limitation of this study is the fact that the respondents are mainly women. Therefore, there should be further research involving a higher number of respondents and covering a wider research location.

ANALISIS LITERASI KEUANGAN PELAKU UMKM DI DESA DALUNG, KECAMATAN KUTA UTARA, KABUPATEN BADUNG

The COVID-19 pandemic had an impact on the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector. MSMEs' understanding of Financial Literacy can help MSMEs survive in this difficult time. This study aims to determine the level of financial literacy of MSMEs in Dalung Village, North Kuta District, Badung Regency. This study was conducted to analyze whether differences in gender, age, and level of education have a significant effect on the level of financial literacy of MSME owners. The company used in this study is a trading company, with a sample of 40 MSME owners. The research method used is a survey method by obtaining data through a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the level of financial literacy of MSME owners was less literate (60%). The variable that affects the level of financial literacy is the level of education, while differences in gender and age have no effect on the level of financial literacy of the owners of MSMEs.

FINANCIAL LITERACY OF FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS IN BANGLADESH

This research delves into the financial literacy landscape of diverse financial institutions in Bangladesh. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study assesses financial literacy levels, identifies influencing factors, and explores collaborative efforts. Quantitative data gathered through surveys from 150 institutions reveal variations in financial literacy, with banks displaying higher scores (M = 75), followed by microfinance institutions (M = 62) and non-bank entities (M = 48). Qualitative interview insights highlight effective collaborative initiatives between institutions, regulators, and educational bodies. The study contributes novelty by presenting a holistic view of financial literacy, its associations, and implications within the sector. Findings resonate with previous research, linking financial literacy to risk management and ethical decision-making. The research underlines the need for tailored training programs and sustained collaborations. Future research could explore evolving regulatory dynamics and technological impacts. This research augments our understanding of financial literacy's importance and potential to enhance the resilience and inclusivity of Bangladesh's financial sector.

PENGARUH FINANCIAL LITERACY DAN FINANCIAL SELF EFFICACY TERHADAP PERILAKU KEUANGAN DIMEDIASI OLEH SIKAP KEUANGAN PADA UKM KOTA MAKASSAR

Small Medium Enterprises in Makassar city still need to gain their knowledge and understanding of financial literacy, financial self-efficacy, financial attitudes, and financial behavior toward SMEs industry. The Financial attitude decisions of each SME actor dominate financial literacy and financial self-efficacy in SME players in Makassar city. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy and financial self-efficacy on Financial Behavior mediated by financial attitudes in SMEs in Makassar city. The method used in this research is a descriptive research method using a quantitative approach. The approach used is quantitative with a descriptive method. The research instrument used a questionnaire given to one hundred SMEs. Data were analyzed using regression analysis and path analysis. The study's results found that financial literacy did not positively and significantly affect financial attitudes in SMEs in Makassar City. Financial self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on Financial attitudes. Financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial behavior. Financial Self Efficacy has no positive or significant effect on financial behavior. Financial attitude has a positive and significant effect on financial behavior. Financial attitude cannot mediate the effect of financial literacy on financial behavior. Financial attitudes can mediate the effect of financial self-efficacy on financial behavior. This research can support research progress within the scope of SMEs in Makassar city, especially in increasing the understanding of Makassar city SMEs finances.

TONGKONAN AS AN EDUCATIONAL CENTER FOR INTRODUCING FINANCIAL LITERACY TO BUILD AWARENESS OF SAVING FROM AN EARLY AGE IN LEMBANG LANGDA

This activity aims to provide knowledge and understanding of financial literacy through saving, to foster an interest in saving from an early age so that children get used to saving, as well as to provide examples of how to make piggy bank creations from bamboo. This activity was carried out in the tongkonan using the method of delivering socialization material then carrying out questions and answers, quizzes, and creatively making piggy banks from bamboo. Sharia Financial Literacy In Personal Financial Planning

Financial literacy is an important thing that is needed by everyone. This literacy is very necessary when an individual is about to make his personal financial decisions. Where an understanding of financial literacy will help in considering and making financial decisions, according to the conditions of each individual. Limited financial literacy will result in inaccurate financial decision making and lack of financial planning for the future. Limited financial literacy in a person will also lead to undirected spending and can make wrong financial decisions. Which will have an impact on his personal life and well-being. Effect of financial literacy, income and years of service on investment decision behavior

The purpose of this study was to explain the effect of financial literacy, income and years of service on investment decision behavior in employees. Research respondents were employees of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Bali Renon Branch with a sample of 76 people. The sampling technique in this study used random sampling. The data were analyzed using the PLS (Partial Least Squares) technique. The results of this study indicate that financial literacy and income have a positive effect on investment decision behavior, but tenure has no positive effect on investment decision behavior. This is because in the banking industry, all employees, both those who have just entered the workforce or those who have worked together for a long time, receive training and obtain information regarding financial developments and current financial conditions. In other words, the understanding of financial literacy and employee behavior is almost the same.

The Determinant Factor of Probability of Individual Bankruptcy: The Case for the Army in Aviation Medical Institute, Subang

The number of bankruptcy cases is rising significantly in Malaysia. According to the Malaysia Department of Insolvency, 2,591 individuals were declared bankrupt in May 2021. The movement towards personal bankruptcy is now one of the government's main concerns. Therefore, this study aims to determine the factors towards the probability of individual bankruptcy; financial planning, rate of income, and attitude towards debts among the army in the Aviation Medical Institute, Subang. The study adopted a cross-sectional design, and 110 questionnaires were distributed to the army in the Aviation Medical Institute, Subang. A simple random sampling technique was employed, and the data gathered were analyzed using mean, multiple regression, and Pearson correlation analysis. The findings indicate a positive relationship between financial planning (r = 0.799, p < 0.000), rate of income (r = 0.780, p < 0.000), and attitude towards debts (r = 0.715, p < 0.000). The multiple regression results have shown that the research model explains that 70 percent of the dependent variable variance and all independent variables except attitude towards debts significantly impact individual bankruptcy probability. The most contributing factor of the probability of individual bankruptcy among the army in the Aviation Medical Institute, Subang were financial planning factors with the value of 0.503 and a significant value of 0.000. To increase awareness of army personnel's financial planning, they must develop a better understanding of financial literacy, develop good attitudes towards spending, and seek financial advisors to guide financing planning. This study's findings are also beneficial for higher education, government, financial and legal institutions, society in general, and the army, especially in the context of consciousness and the cost of financial distress. The information enables everyone to avoid bankruptcy and take necessary precautions or rectification to reduce the number of bankruptcies. Therefore, this study sought to be a centerpiece to help the government authorities develop better support to guide the army to manage their financial planning sustainably.
