Tuan Guru Haji Muhammad Mutawalli's spiritual leadership has garnered attention due to his influence at the Darul Aitam Jerowaru Islamic Boarding School. The integrity of educational human resources in issue relates to the morals, ethics, honesty, accountability, and strong Islamic values that instructors and students embody. The goal of this study was to determine how Tuan Guru Haji Muhammad Mutawalli provided spiritual leadership at the Darul Aitam Jerowaru Islamic Boarding School and contributed to the integrity of Educational Human Resources. Qualitative research is a research approach based on the idea of postpositivism, with data collected using triangulation and inductive analytical procedures. The results of this study are spiritual leadership in the Islamic boarding school of the practice of the tarekat taught by Tuan Guru Haji Muhammad Mutawalli is through opening the Majlis Taklim, the Majlis pengajian for the general public, then the strategy used uses only the sharia approach and the role as the leader of the Islamic boarding school, Tuan Guru directs and organizes his students, so a Tuan Guru has a lot of charm and authority in front of his students.

Peak-CNN: improved particle image localization using single-stage CNNs

AbstractAn important step in the application of Lagrangian particle tracking (LPT) or in general for image-based single particle identification techniques is the detection of particle image locations on the measurement images and their sub-pixel accurate position estimation. In case of volumetric measurements, this constitutes the first step in the process of recovering 3D particle positions, which is usually performed by triangulation procedures. For two-component 2D measurements, the particle localization results directly serve as input to the tracking algorithm. Depending on the quality of the image, the shape and size of the particle images and the amount of particle image overlap, it can be difficult to find all, or even only the majority, of the projected particle locations in a measurement image. Advanced strategies for 3D particle position reconstruction, such as iterative particle reconstruction (IPR), are designed to work with incomplete 2D particle detection abilities but even they can greatly benefit from a more complete detection as ambiguities and position errors are reduced. We introduce a convolutional neural network (CNN) based particle image detection scheme that significantly outperforms current conventional approaches, both on synthetic and experimental data, and enables particle image localization with a vastly higher completeness even at high image densities.

Brain-computer interface for augmentative and alternative communication access: The initial training needs and learning preferences of speech-language pathologists

Purpose To enable the codesign of a training framework for brain-computer interfaces for augmentative and alternative communications access (BCI-AAC), the aim of this study is to evaluate the initial BCI-AAC training needs and preferred learning strategies of speech-language pathologists (SLPs) with AAC experience. Method Eleven SLPs employed across a broad range of settings completed a semi-structured interview. A grounded theory approach alongside peer debriefing and review, member checking, and triangulation procedures were utilised for thematic analysis to help ensure data reliability and credibility. Result Regarding critical training needs, SLPs identified the subthemes of (a) personalisation of intervention, (b) technical aspects, (c) BCI-AAC system types and access, and (d) how to support stakeholders in BCI-AAC implementation. Regarding learning strategy preferences, participants discussed (a) expert guidance and demonstrations, (b) hands-on experience, alongside (c) media and presentations. Conclusion Findings present a continuum of critical training needs ranging from more foundational information to more personalised assessment and intervention consideration. These thematic results present a first step in developing a basic framework for SLP training in BCI-AAC to utilise and build from as technology development continues, and provides an important initial starting point for the codesign of clinically focused BCI-AAC trainings.

Teacher Professional Development Planning at SMAN 6 Palembang

This study delves into the topic of professional development planning for teachers at SMAN 6 Palembang. Program sustainability planning, activity planning, time planning, and financial planning are the intended topics of this research. In order to address the research question—how to organize teacher professional development in terms of activity, time, money, and program sustainability—this study used a qualitative method. Interviews, observations, and documentation studies are the methods used to gather data. Methods of purposive sampling are used in the selection of informants. Utilizing triangulation and member verification procedures, the reliability of the data is verified. Data analysis consists of four steps: gathering data, presenting it, checking it, and drawing conclusions. Results and discussion indicated that using teacher development patterns in activity planning is similar to adopting top-down policy rather than focusing on teachers' actual requirements in terms of professional development. Planning for teachers' professional development time has not been owned by schools, the Education Office, or teachers themselves. The majority of our growth time is dictated by external factors and the level of personal motivation from our teachers when it comes to self-improvement. Planning for the Teacher-Experienced Development Fund is not entirely the responsibility of teachers. Despite many school requirements, the needs of instructors are not taken into account when budgeting funds. School budgets have to go somewhere, and no one has thought about the long-term or short-term viability of teacher professional development programs while they were planning their sustainability.

Digitizing Historical Aerial Images: Evaluation of the Effects of Scanning Quality on Aerial Triangulation and Dense Image Matching

In the last decade, many aerial photographic archives have started to be digitized for multiple purposes, including digital preservation and geoprocessing. This paper analyzes the effects of professional photogrammetric versus consumer-grade scanners on the processing of analog historical aerial photographs. An image block over Warsaw is considered, featuring 38 photographs acquired in 1986 (Wild RC10, Normal Aviogon II lens, 23 × 23 cm format) with a ground sampling distance (GSD) of 4 cm. Aerial triangulation (AT) and dense image matching (DIM) procedures are considered, analyzing how scanning modalities are important in the massive digitization of analog images for georeferencing and 3D product generation. The achieved results show how consumer-grade scanners, unlike more expensive photogrammetric scanners, do not possess adequate recording quality to ensure high accuracy and geometric precision for geoprocessing purposes. However, consumer-grade scanners can be used for time and cost-efficient applications where a partial loss of data quality is not critical.

The novel is a medium that inspires and motivates readers to change and act more responsibly towards nature. This research aims to explore environmental phenomena and the author's ethical criticism. This research applies a qualitative approach with descriptive data presentation to explore and understand the representation of forest environmental issues in the novel Rahasia Pelangi by Riawani Elyta and Shabrina WS. The main data in this research is the text of the novel Rahasia Pelangi. Garrard's ecocritical approach Data analysis was carried out using the help of NVivo software which displays processed data in the form of percentage coverage and graphs through the Explore feature. To ensure validity and reliability, this research adopts a triangulation procedure, namely by comparing the findings with relevant previous studies and other ecocritical theories. The research findings are that the author narrates ecological themes. The narrative on the theme of "Disaster" is followed by the phenomenon of destruction of the "Wilderness." The contribution of the research is to provide awareness of environmental conservation for readers. The results of this study are a means for teachers and lecturers to provide literacy teaching materials to students and college students. Future research is to examine novels from other authors that voice environmental issues.

The Image Of Ummat Party In The 2024 General Election

This study will examine the Bandung Regency Ummat Party's political communication and image as a new party ahead of the 2024 election. The research strategy employed was a literature review and in-depth interviews with numerous connected sources. The data analysis approach draws findings using data triangulation procedures, specifically the data collection, reduction, and presentation stages. The data supplied is then tailored to the researcher's requirements for studying the research challenge. The study's findings indicate that the Bandung Regency Ummat Party is attempting to project a new identity that differs from its prior identity. The Ummat Party attempts to establish its political image through the use of mass media as well as the character and stature of party officials. According to the findings of this study, the Bandung Regency Ummat Party promotes social media operations in order to improve its political image. The Ummat Party realizes that, as a new party, identity and image are vital in attracting public interest and publicly introducing the party.

Understanding Digital Natives Learning Experience through Japanese Language Exam at Nihongo Tesuto Bunkasai Competition by PGBJ Jabodetabek in 2023

Integrating technology into Japanese language education has revolutionized the methods of instruction and learning. Especially while instructing the present generation known as digital natives. Educational institutions need to incorporate technology as a tool for teaching and learning due to the close relationship between digital natives and technology. This research aims to assess the utilization of the web-based test (SHIGURU) during the 2023 Bunkasai events organized by PGBJ-SMK (Forum of Japanese Language Teachers for Vocational High Schools) within the area of Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi). This study employs a descriptive research methodology that incorporates both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data can be collected through direct observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The study utilized primary and secondary data sources, which were examined through triangulation procedures. This study examines the benefits and drawbacks of utilizing shiguru and delves into a comprehensive comprehension of how the digital generation acquires knowledge and how Japanese language education should incorporate pedagogical principles and practices to cater to the requirements of digital natives in contemporary Japanese language education.

The aim of this research is to find out how much the Bandung Sharing Rice community has contributed to increasing social awareness among Bandung City residents. Biddle and Thomas' role theory is cited in this research, which also uses qualitative descriptive techniques. Unstructured in-depth interviews are the method used in the data collection methodology. The stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing up conclusions are part of the data analysis process. By comparing data from different methodologies, triangulation procedures increase the validity of the data. The findings of this research show how members of the Nasi Bandung serving community raise social awareness by providing authentic examples through their actions and encourage others to do the same by asking for involvement on social media.

Using the Discovery Learning Model to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Indonesian Language Instruction

Teachers utilize the learning implementation plan as a guide to help them concentrate the classroom learning process. The primary content is used to build the learning implementation strategy in detail. The content presented in the learning implementation plan is organized into a learning model. Dampak Kegiatan Kepramukaan Terhadap Rasa Nasionalisme Siswa di SMPN 1 Gending

The general aim of this research is to describe the impact of scouting activities on the sense of nationalism of students at SMPN 1 Gending. The reason the researcher conducted this research was none other than because the researcher wanted to know whether scouting activities really had a good impact on students' attitudes and sense of nationalism or not. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method as its methodology. The research location is at SMPN 1 Gending. Data was obtained from direct observation, interviews and documentation study guidelines as instruments in this research. Data was analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The final stage is to test the validity of the data using the Source Triangulation procedure. Source triangulation is carried out to test the credibility of the data by checking data that has been obtained through several sources. The results of the research show that the extracurricular activities carried out at SMPN 1 Gending every Wednesday for interested scouts and on Saturdays for mandatory scouts, really have a good impact on students' attitudes and sense of nationalism. This is reflected in several attitudes, namely, discipline, honesty, courage, willingness to sacrifice and obeying regulations.

Students' Mathematical Understanding Ability and Self-Confidence Through Collaborative Think Pair Share and Talking Stick Learning Models at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari-2 Rantau Prapat

Through the combination of the Think-Pair-Share and Talking-Stick models, this project aimed to improve learning outcomes and increase mathematical engagement among students in class XI at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari-2 Rantau Prapat. This study represents classroom action research. The research was done in two cycles, with each cycle including preparation, execution, observation, and reflection. This study involved 30 students from class XI at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari-2 Rantau Prapat. The sources of data are teachers and students. Various methods of data collecting include observation, interviews, testing, and document analysis. Using data triangulation and triangulation procedures to determine the veracity of the data. Comparative and critical descriptive analysis approaches were employed in the data analysis. Planning, implementation, observation and interpretation, and analysis and reflection are the research methods. The results demonstrated that by applying the Think Pair Share collaborative approach with the Talking Stick, learning outcomes may be enhanced and student engagement encouraged. This study concludes that the implementation of the Think Pair Share Model Collaboration with the Talking Stick model can improve learning results and stimulate student participation in administration courses.

Indonesia expected to be a major player in the global economy especially for live ornamental fish export industry, so “how the marketing performance strategy in Indonesia for permanent success?” like this thought significantly raised. The objective on this research aims to examine the effect of market orientation, product innovation on competitive advantage and the effect of competitive advantage on company performance. Type of the data in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection technique for this research was to conduct in-depth interviews, observations and data analysis as well as related documents. To collect quality and sufficient data, researchers will make observations and In-depth interviews for this study and will conduct interviews with 6 (Six) informants who have been selected who really understand the ornamental fish marketing in this business. Credibility or validity of the data used the triangulation procedure. The findings all participants agreed on this case study research. Overall, market orientation, product innovation, and competitive advantage are interconnected factors that can contribute to a company's market success and performance. By understanding customer needs, offering innovative products, and establishing a competitive edge, a company can position itself for success in the market.

ANALISIS KESULITAN MAHASISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL DIFERENSIAL PADA MATA KULIAH MATEMATIKA DASAR

Its research is a descriptive qualitative research. The sampling method in this study used purposive sampling with 10 Informatics Management students in the first semester of the 2022/2023 academic year as subjects, who took Basic Mathematics courses. These students have difficulty solving differential problems, especially material on chain rules and high-order derivatives. The results of the Mid Semester Examination (UTS) obtained were only able to be answered by 20% of students. The purpose of this study was to analyze students' difficulties in answering differential questions, done by looking at learning outcomes and by collecting information obtained during interviews, based on four aspects of expertise, namely: 1) Information skills, 2) Arithmatics skills, 3) Language skills, and 4) Number fact skills. The method of information analysis is carried out by: collecting information, reducing, presenting information, and drawing conclusions. Data collection in this study used a triangulation procedure, namely by equating the information on the test results with the results of the interviews. The results of this study are that students have difficulty solving differential problems when viewed from the four aspects of expertise. Factors causing difficulties in this ability are 1) students are not able to analyze the correct method that will be used to solve the differential function reduction, 2) students do not understand mathematical operations well, and 3) students make mistakes reading and interpreting questions.

Analisis Minimnya Partisipasi Politik Perempuan Bali pada Kursi Dewan dari Perspektif Hubungan Sosial Masyarakat Adat Bali (Studi Kasus: DPRD Provinsi Bali)

This research is entitled "Analysis of the Lack of Political Participation of Balinese Women in Board Chairs from the Perspective of Social Relations of the Balinese Indigenous People (Case Study: DPRD Bali Province)". Patriarchal culture is often an obstacle for women in their activities, especially in the political field. As we know, women's participation in politics is arguably still minimal, and sometimes it can't meet the quota of women themselves. The limitations of women's participation can be seen in the social lives of people who are still infested by a patriarchal culture. From a socialist feminism standpoint, this paper aims to explore the underrepresentation of women in elected positions in the Bali Provincial DPRD. With the help of key informants and literature reviews, this study employs a type of qualitative descriptive research. By contrasting the data acquired from several different documents, the data triangulation procedure was carried out.

Fourteen Speech and Language Pathologists judges and 14 older adults were used. Additionally, 2 interviews were conducted. Subsequently, content validity was obtained by means of Lawshe's classic procedure. Also, using a complementary evaluation for comprehensibility and length of the interview, as well as a data triangulation procedure with the judges and participants of the pilot experience. Of the 22 items evaluated, only 4 were above the critical reference value (0.49). The need to incorporate this measure of analysis in the context of respect, identity and agency of older adults is discussed as part of a change in thinking under the gaze of person-centered care and a communicative competence model. As well as the need to incorporate different cultural paradigms and the use of digital technologies.

Determinants of Mentoring in the Context of Human Capital Development. Modeling the Effectiveness of the Mentoring Processes in Business Tourism Organization

The aim of the study was to examine the determinants of the mentoring processes from the perspective of HR managers from companies in different branch of the tourism industry and the impact of these conditions on the effects of mentoring related to human capital development. The characteristics of mentoring’ determinants were singled out in order to build a model of mentoring effectiveness which could be applied for increase the quality of HR in tourism activities. A group of four hypotheses were formulated on the basis of the identified cognitive gaps. A qualitative study was conducted with the use of triangulation procedure. The study indicates that the organizational, motivational, and relational determinants as well as the determinants related to HRM have a significant impact on the level of the effects of mentoring related to employee development in companies. The statistically significant interactions were obtained between the number of meetings per edition within the mentoring process and the level of institutional and relational determinants, and between the length of mentoring used in the company and the level of determinants related to human resource management and motivational determinants.

Gender-Fair Music Education Practices in Junior High School

This study explored the gender-fair music education practices of three varying school types (laboratory school, private school, and public school) offering junior high school (JHS) in the National Capital Region. Employing qualitative descriptive research, the researchers collected three types of data (interview, document, and observation/field notes) and subjected them to a two-cycle coding procedure under the lenses of social constructivism and socialist feminism. The results of the study revealed 10 practices, summed up and labeled as GENDER-FAIR, that can be used as foundations to substantiate gender-fair music education in JHS. Qualitative triangulation procedures, in the within-school and cross-school levels, established the validity of the findings. The study acknowledged that educational institutions do their part in promoting and reinforcing gender equality and equity to embrace inclusivity in education. The study suggests that future research endeavors be geared towards the exploration of gender-fair practices in other disciplines and grade levels. Exploring the use of phytoremediation and sustainable methods of agriculture in alleviating the pollution in the uThongathi river estuary

Introduction and AimThe uThongathi Estuary was found to be in a poor ecological state and the water pollution was due to the discharge from the wastewater treatment plant, industrial, agricultural and residential sectors of Tongaat. The aims of this paper were therefore to explore the need for phytoremediation, as well as to show the importance of sustainable methods of agriculture in alleviating the pollution in the uThongathi River Estuary. Materials and MethodsThe research method chosen was a triangulation procedure and this involved experiments, questionnaires and observations. The experiments involved phytoremediation using artificial miniature wetlands and soil samples taken from the estuary. The plants used in the miniature wetlands were Chrysopogon zizanioides, Polystichum pungen and Polystichum munitum, whereas the plants used in phytoremediation of soil were the Spinacia oleracea L and Helianthus annuus. Questionnaires were given to all sectors of Tongaat and people were chosen randomly using The Yamane, 1967 approach with an error margin of 6%. ResultsThe results revealed that phytoremediation can be used successfully to reduce water pollution and eliminate the odour of bacteria coliform and nitrates. The Polystichum pungen was able to reduce the bacterial coliform from 2900 to 100 cfu/ mL. The use of the sustainable methods of mixed cropping or intercropping can reduce pests and prevent the use of harmful pesticides and herbicides and low tillage or non-tillage is good for the quality of the soil. Biopesticides can be used as an alternative to conventional pesticides. ConclusionsThe overall outcome of the study showed that phytoremediation and sustainable agricultural methods can successfully alleviate pollution in the uThongathi Estuary.
