ABSTRACT: The research originates from translating a usage manual for an audiogame within the visually impaired community during the pandemic. It aims to reflect on the experience of a novice visually impaired translator in translating the audiogame's technical content. Specific objectives include understanding visually impaired individuals' reality and the need for inclusion, explaining translation procedures, and describing novice translator and Spanish teacher difficulties. The study draws from Barbosa (2020) for technical procedures, Campos (1986) for translation basics, and Nóbrega (2020) and Aguiar Pereira (2022) for reflective insights. Findings reveal translation's potential to unveil hidden aspects of the visually impaired community, necessitating specific translator skills. Understanding this audience aids Spanish teachers in addressing their social context and needs, fostering inclusivity.
