The study on transformational leadership is crucial, especially in relation to human resources management (HRM). This research aims to identify the roles of transformational leadership in human resources management and how transformational leadership contributes to human resources management. The research methodology employed is a qualitative case study to depict the role of transformational leadership within the framework of human resources management. The study involves a subject group consisting of a manager in a well-known “start” supermarket known for influential transformational leadership practices. The instrument used in this research is a structured interview sheet. The results of this study indicate that there are six roles of transformational leadership in human resources management: being a role model, empowerment, individual development, effective communication, performance and innovation enhancement, and the administration of rewards and punishments. Transformational leadership can shape a dynamic, goal-oriented work environment, motivating employees to contribute their best. In the context of HRM, transformational leadership can be a key driver in creating an innovative organizational culture with a focus on human resource development.
