It is crucial to systematically study the interaction between samples and components at different concentrations in biochemical analysis. Microfluidic chip technology can complete precise liquid control in micron-scale channels and has been widely used in the biochemical analysis in recent years. The microfluidic concentration gradient chip is a tool that can rapidly construct a stable biochemical concentration gradient, which can be combined with most cell culture, chemical analysis, and other technologies to provide a new platform for traditional biochemical analysis. This paper reviews the formation mechanism of microfluidic concentration gradient chips and their applications in biochemistry and other fields and provides new ideas for broadening the application research of concentration gradients.
