IDENTIFICATION OF MISCONCEPTIONS ON THE MATERIAL OF SOUND WAVES USING THE FOUR TIER DIAGNOSTIC TEST IN TOLITOLI REGENCY

This research aims to describe the misconceptions that occur in sound wave material in Class VIII Public Middle School Tolitoli Regency by using a four-tier diagnostic test. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were 60 students from class VIII of Public Middle School 2 Tolitoli, junior high school Negeri 5 Tolitoli, and Public Middle School 8 Tolitoli. Determination of respondents using a purposive sampling technique, namely by taking respondents who experienced the highest misconceptions as many as 10 students. The results showed that the misconceptions that occurred in students of Public Middle Schools in Tolitoli Regency with low misconception criteria, namely at 27%, The identification results showed that students of Public Middle Schools in Tolitoli had understood the concept of sound waves well so that the results achieved were based on the misconception criteria, namely low.

Financial Feasibility of Palm Sugar Business in Ogomoli Village, District Galang Tolitoli Regency

Sugar palm (Arenga pinnata) is a type of plant that has been known for a long time because almost all parts of this palm tree can be used and contribute to people's income. Sugar palm as an NTFP product has a very important role in the development of NTFPs in Indonesia can support the economy of rural communities and has a bright market and high demand. This research aims to determine the financial feasibility of the palm sugar business and determine community income from selling palm sugar in Ogomoli Village, Tolitoli Regency, Galang District. The method used in this research is the census method (which is studied in measuring variables), namely, all individuals in the population are enumerated (investigated or interviewed) as respondents. Results of research carried out in Ogomoli Village, Galang District, Tolitoli Regency. Took a sample of 44 people. Based on the research results above, the average income from the palm sugar business in Ogomoli Village, Galang District, Toli-Toli Regency obtained by respondents was equal to. Rp. 19.584.00/ year with an average NPV of Rp. 105.950.39, with a Net B/ C of Rp. 5.33. The IRR value is 11.50% and the payback period (PP) in the palm sugar business is the profit earned or returned in the sixth year.

Gaps in Legal Protections for Female Workers: A Socio-Legal Study in Tolitoli, Indonesia

The lack of adequate safety, health guarantees, and protection of rights for female workers presents a significant challenge within Indonesia’s labor sector, particularly in Tolitoli Regency. This study seeks to analyze the legal protection available to female workers across the country, with a specific focus on the fulfillment of their rights in Tolitoli Regency. Employing an interdisciplinary approach, the research utilizes a socio-legal methodology, supported by empirical observations. Data sources include relevant laws, regulations, and previous research findings, assessed through scientific and descriptive qualitative methods. The findings indicate that while Indonesian labor laws provide a normative framework for worker protection, specific legal safeguards for female workers are not fully enforced. There are clear disparities in the ability of different societal groups to access the protections and rights guaranteed by the state. In Tolitoli, many female workers are still unable to fully exercise their rights. Female workers are often regarded as mere production tools rather than valuable assets, which leads to a low level of employer responsibility, with profit motives prevailing. The Omnibus Law on Job Creation is expected to enhance the business environment while ensuring that female workers’ rights are protected.

Evaluation of land suitability for sorghum crops in Lampasio District, Tolitoli Regency

Sorghum is an alternative food ingredient that contains high levels of carbohydrates and calories so it can be a solution to food security problems. This research aims to evaluate the suitability of land for sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.) in Tolitoli Regency, Indonesia. This research was conducted in Lampasio District, Tolitoli Regency using purposive sampling and survey methods on five land map units (SPL). The results of the research show that the area is classified as quite suitable land class (S2) with limiting factors for drainage and nutrient retention (oa, nr) with a land area of 3,652.7 ha spread over 5 SPL, namely SPL 1,2,3 and 5 while class The land (S3) is SPL 4. However, this can be overcome by adding fertilizer and adding organic material. So that it can improve the status of each land to be very suitable (S1) and quite suitable (S2).

KINERJA APARATUR SIPIL NEGARA DI KANTOR KECAMATAN DAMPAL SELATAN KABUPATEN TOLI-TOLI

Asrianti, Stambuk Number B102 22 075, with the title of research Performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the South Dampal District Office of Toli-toli Regency, was guided by Mrs. Nuraisyah Ambo as the main supervisor and Mrs. Rahmawati Halim as the member supervisor. The purpose of this study was to find out how the performance of the State Civil Apparatus in the South Dampal District Office of Toli-toli Regency. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods with descriptive research type. The informants in this study were determined purposively with the number of informants as many as 10 (ten) people. Data collection techniques through informants accompanied by observation, interviews and documentation. This research uses Suyadi Prawirosentono's theory consisting of 4 aspects to measure the performance of officers which include Effectiveness, Responsibility. Discipline and Initiative. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the South Dampal District Office of Toli-toli Regency, seen from the aspect of Effectiveness, is quite good because it is in accordance with the vision and mission to be achieved, but still needs to be improved again by implementing training on the Apparatus so that the service process runs better and instills a high sense of awareness so that the resulting performance can be maximized in accordance with the predefined goals. In the aspect of Responsibility is quite good, this can be seen from the apparatus that has carried out the duties and functions carried out in the office. Then in the aspect of Initiative, it is good to see that the apparatus has provided suggestions for the progress of the office and the ability of the apparatus to solve problems that occur both in the office environment and in the community. But in the aspect of discipline, the results are still not good and need to be addressed, because judging from some apparatuses who do not obey the rules that should have been understood, such as being late to come to the office, when the break is over, not returning to the office or slowly re-entering and there are also those who leave early. Then in terms of dressing there are some apparatuses that are less uniform.

THE LENGTH-WEIGHT RELATIONSHIP OF Butis sp. IN THE TAMBUN RIVER, TOLITOLI DISTRICT, CENTRAL SULAWESI

Butis sp. is a type of fish that possesses physical characteristics such as small scales and a yellowish belly. Information regarding the existence and growth of this type of fish is still limited to the Tambun River, Tolitoli Regency. Analyzing the length and weight of the fish is one of the methods used to determine the biological conditions and fish stocks, there by facilitating the management of biodiversity sustainability. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the length and weight of Butis sp. in order to understand fish growth patterns. This research was carried out for 2 months in Sungai Tambun, Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The location for collecting sample were divided into 3 stations. The test parameters observed were the relationship between length and weight and habitat conditions. The research results of Butis sp. in Sungai Tambun, Tolitoli Regency showed a positive allometric growth pattern (b= 3,25). The water quality in the Tambun River still supports the growth of Butis sp. (temperature 25-28oC, pH 5,5-8,5).Keywords : Biodiversity, fish biology, growth, positive allometrics

VITALITY OF THE LAUJE LANGUAGE ENCLAVE IN THE FAMILY DOMAIN IN TOLITOLI REGENCY

This research aims to describe the vitality of the Lauje language as an enclave of ethnic minority languages in Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi. The method used is a sociolinguistic approach with questionnaires, interviews, observation, and recording techniques. Next, it was analyzed descriptively based on frequency and percentage calculations and processed using the SPSS program. The results of the analysis show that the vitality of the Lauje language based on age, those aged 40–50 years and those aged over 60 years is still very strong, namely the Lauje language, and those aged under 20 years and those aged 20–39 years are in a position that is vulnerable to decline. Furthermore, the vitality of the Lauje language is based on education; respondents with no school education and stable basic education maintain their Lauje language but have the potential to experience decline. The vitality of the Lauje language in the family domain based on work as farmers is still stable in maintaining its language, and those who work as housewives are still very strong in maintaining their language. The Lauje language is in a safe position. Overall, the vitality of using the Lauje language in the family domain is 0.69, which means that the vitality of the Lauje language in the family domain is in a stable, steady position but has the potential to experience decline.

INVASI UDANG AIR TAWAR Macrobrachium lanchesteri DI DANAU BOLANO TOGA, TOLI-TOLI, SULAWESI TENGAH

Sulawesi Island has long been known as one of the regions in Indonesia that holds a wealth of freshwater shrimp species in both lentic and lotic waters. One of the lentic waters in Sulawesi is Lake Bolano Tago which is located in Toli-Toli Regency, Central Sulawesi. This research aims to reveal the population and abundance of freshwater shrimp in the lake. Sampling was carried out in April 2022 along the lake's littoral zone which was divided into 7 stations using purposive sampling and sweep methods. Sampling effort at each station was carried out for 4 hours. Environmental physicochemical factors measured include water temperature, brightness, dissolved oxygen levels, and water acidity levels. Specimen identification was carried out at the Animal Biosystematics and Evolution Laboratory, Biology Department, FMIPA, Tadulako University. Identification was carried out based on morphological characters by following the identification key of Wowor et al (2004). The results of this research revealed that of the freshwater shrimp collected as many as 1,165 individuals in the lake, all consisted of one species, namely Macrobrachium lanchesteri. This species belonging to the Palaemonidae family is not native to Indonesia but comes from the Oriental region. Macrobrachium lanchesteri was first described based on a type specimen originating from Thailand. Its presence in Lake Bolano Toga is quite worrying because of its invasive nature. With the abundant presence of the M. lanchesteri species at all stations, it can be confirmed that the Macrobrachium lanchesteri species has invaded Lake Bolano Toga

Analysis of Clove Leaf Oil Distillation Business Income (Clove Leaf Oil) in Matuo Sub-Village, Lelean Nono Village, Baolan District, Tolitoli Regency (Case Study of Tiga Jaya Essential Oil Distillation), This study aims to determine how much Clove Leaf Oil Distillation Business Income (Clove Leaf Oil) in Matuo Sub-Village, Lelean Nono Village, Baolan District, Tolitoli Regency (Case Study of Tiga Jaya Essential Oil Distillation). This research uses a qualitative research design. The data source is primary data, namely data obtained through interviews and documentation related to this research. The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative, namely production cost analysis, business revenue analysis, income analysis, and R / C Ratio efficiency level analysis.
 After conducting research and discussions, it has been revealed that the Cloves Leaf Oil Distillation Business (Tiga Jaya Essential Oil Distillation) operating in Matuo Hamlet, Lelean Nono Village, Baolan District, Tolitoli Regency, During the 2022 period, a cloves leaf oil distillation business incurred a total cost of Rp. 993,196,500. The total revenue generated was Rp. 1,234,464,000. This indicates that the business earned a total income of Rp. 241,267,500 in one year. After conducting a case study of Tiga Jaya Essential Oil Distillation in Matuo Hamlet, Lelean Nono Village, Baolan District, Tolitoli Regency, the feasibility of Clove Leaf Oil Distillation Business for 2022 was found to have an R/C ratio of 1.24. The R/C Ratio of more than one indicates that the Cloves Leaf Oil Distillation Business located in Matuo Hamlet, Lelean Nono Village, Baolan District, Tolitoli Regency (as examined in the case study of Tiga Jaya Essential Oil Distillation) is viable and feasible

The Growth of Rice Plants on Combination of Liquid Organic Fertilizer Based of the Water Hyacinth

Aims: This study aims to obtain a combination of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) concentrations of palm wine and water hyacinth on the growth of rice plants.
 Study Design: This research used a randomized block design with thri (3 replications).
 Place and Duration of Study: This research was conducted in Baolan District, Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi Province with an altitude of 20 meters above sea level (MSL) from September 2022 to January 2023.
 Methodology: consisting of six treatments, namely Ao = control, A1 = 80 ml LOF of water hyacinth + 20 ml LOF of palm wine + 900 ml of water, A2 = 70 ml LOF of water hyacinth + 30 ml palm wine + 900 ml water, A3 = 50 ml water hyacinth + 50 ml palm wine + 900 ml water, A4 = 40 ml water hyacinth +60 ml palm wine + 900 ml water, A 5 = 30 ml water hyacinth + 70 ml of palm wine + 900 ml of water. Each treatment was applied to the pot as media and each pot was planted with 1 seed.
 Results: The results of the study was shown that the combination of water hyacinth and palm wine had a significant effect on plant height, number of tillers, panicle length and grain weight per panicle.
 Conclusion: Application of liquid organic fertilizer with a combination of water hyacinth and palm wine can increase rice plant growth, increase the number of tillers, panicle length and seed weight per panicle.

The relationship between socio-economic conditions and the stunting incidences of rural areas in Indonesia? Evidence in Tolitoli regency, Indonesia

Problem of stunting and malnutrition in the centre of agricultural production is currently being debated. Tolitoli which is one of the central rice-producing regencies for Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, however in 2021 is reported as one of 320 regencies in Indonesia with a high prevalence of stunting. This research aims to examine the correlations between agricultural production of households in Tolitoli regency and the prevalence of family malnutrition and stunting. In June - October 2022 a case study survey was carried out in two sub-districts with the highest prevalence rate in Tolitoli Regency. The analytical method used includes the share of food expenditure and family food consumption to assess the condition of food security, quantity and quality of household food consumption. While the income analysis is used to measure the determinants of expenditure and household consumption in the research area. The results show that the condition of food security based on energy sufficiency in the research area was in the “less” category. The share of food expenditure is in the “high category” and the food security condition is in the food shortage condition. Moreover, most of the respondent’s income comes from agricultural activities (80.55%) which is allocated for food consumption of 55%/month and the remaining 45% per month is used for non-food expenses.

Analysis of community food consumption patterns in the stunting locus area, Dondo District, Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi

Improved diet is one of the factors that need attention in preventing stunting. This is because food is a source of energy for the human body, where consuming good, nutritious and sufficient food intake will improve the quality of the body’s health. The research objective was to analyze household consumption patterns in stunting locus areas. The research location was deliberately chosen in Tolitoli Regency with the consideration that, one of the 320 districts in Indonesia, it is included in the locus of handling problems of toddler growth and development disorders due to nutritional intake or stunting. Dondo sub-district was chosen as the locus of stunting sub-district with the highest stunting prevalence rate in Tolitoli district and 130 sample respondents were obtained using a probability technique that is proportional to the size of the cluster. Data analysis used household food consumption and household consumption patterns. The results obtained by respondents were in the food insecure category in terms of energy adequacy absorption and it was known that the food pattern of household expectations in terms of food consumption did not vary.

Diversity of arthropods on clove plantations (Syzygium aromaticum L.) Lemba Harapan village, Dampal Selatan district

This study aims to determine the value of the arthropod diversity index in clove plantations (Syzygium aromaticum L.) in the Dampal Selatan District. This research was conducted in Lemba Harapan Village, Dampal Selatan District, Toli-Toli Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, at a coordinate point of 00.711228N 120.224933E with a coordinate point of 178 m. Sampling is carried out using light traps and pitfall traps. The data analyses used were the Diversity index Shannon Winner (H), the evenness index (E), and the richness index (R). The results showed that 865 individuals were obtained consisting of 3 classes, 8 orders, 17 families, and 19 species (morphospecies) with different functional roles. The results of the analysis of arthropod diversity in cloves showed moderate diversity, it can be seen that the diversity index value (H) of arthropods was 2.099, Evenness (E) was 0.713, and richness (R) was 2.662.

Deteksi Dini Kanker Payudara dengan Teknik SADARI pada Siswi SMK Negeri 1 Tolitoli

Cancer that is detected early has the possibility to get better treatment. The problem of breast cancer is even bigger because more than 70% of sufferers come to the doctor at an advanced stage, therefore it requires special treatment. Breast cancer can be found early with a BSE examination. BSE is very important because almost 85% of breast lumps are found by sufferers themselves. The purpose of this Community Service is to increase the knowledge of students at SMK Negeri 1 Tolitoli Regency about early detection of breast cancer using the BSE technique. Methods used include lectures, questions, answers, discussions, and demonstrations of BSE techniques. The targets were 55 female students at SMK 1 Negeri 1 Tolitoli. From the results of the post-test carried out, it was found that the average knowledge of female students increased from 40 to 80. As for the behavior in the pretest, it was found that <T Mean became >T Mean during the post-test. It can be concluded that there is an increase in knowledge and behavior changes in female students after education.

Implementation of Parking Retribution Policy: Increasing Original Regional Income in Baolan District, Tolitoli Regency

This research aims to implement the parking retribution policy to increase Regional Original Income in the Susumbolan Market, Baolan District, and Tolitoli Regency, which still needs improvement. The problem is due to the need for more facilities for parking attendants, such as vests usually used in parking attendants, ID cards, whistles, and hats. This research aims to know how to implement a parking retribution policy to increase local revenue (PAD) in the Susumbolan market. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The informants in this study were eight people, namely UPTD Pasar Susumbolan, the Market Coordinator, the Parking Attendant, and the people of the Baolan District. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results regarding the Implementation of Parking Retribution Policies in Increasing Regional Original Income (PAD) in the Susumbolan Market, Baolan District, and Tolitoli Regency using the theory of policy implementation proposed by 0045 Edward III have not run optimally. 1. communication went well; in the implementation of the parking, levy briefings were carried out almost every Monday so that the parking attendants understood their responsibilities. 2. Human resources are adequate but still inadequate from the dimensions of facility resources. Because parking attendants lack parking facilities such as vests, whistles, and ID cards, this refers to the payment for parking services. 3. The bureaucratic structure has been running well because it has standard operating procedures SOPs such as technical instructions on the process flow and work procedures for implementing parking retribution policies. 4. The disposition and attitude of the parking attendants have supported the implementation of the parking retribution policy in the supplementary market. It can be seen from the parking attendants who have carried out all stages in implementing the Parking Retribution Policy, such as pursuing the annual targets determined by the region and serving the community well.

PENGARUH PENGANGGURAN DAN KEMISKINAN TERHADAP TINDAKAN KRIMINAL DI KABUPATEN TOLITOLI PERIODE 2012-2021

The purpose of this study was to see how unemployment and poverty affect criminal behavior in Tolitoli Regency. The data analysis approach used in this research is multiple linear regression, and the type of data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and Tolitoli District Police. The results of this study indicate that (1) In Tolitoli Regency, unemployment has a negative and small impact on criminal activity. (2) Poverty has a positive but small impact on criminal activity in Tolitoli Regency.

Analysis of Reasons for Filing Underage Marriage Dispensation Post Amendment to The Marriage Law Number 01 of 1974 by Law Number 16 of 2019

The regulation change to the dispensation of marriage following the difference in the limiting age of marriage in Law Number 16 of 2019 is due to concerns over the increasing cases of underage marriages. This study aims to describe the procedures and considerations of judges regarding the reasons for filing a marriage dispensation case at the Tolitoli Religious Court and explain the relevance of maqasid sharia and sociological jurisprudence to the reasons for filing a marriage dispensation at the Tolitoli Religious Court. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach as an instrument in the research design and data collection through field research. The results of this research explain that legal considerations and considerations of community justice became the reason for the Tolitoli Religious Court judges when explaining the procedure and the reasons for filing a marriage dispensation case at the Tolitoli Religious Court and realizing protection for children both in terms of benefit and instruments of social change and reducing the prevalence of child marriage in Tolitoli Regency as a form of relevance between maqashid sharia and sociological jurisprudence towards marriage dispensation. The judge's consideration in granting the request for a marriage dispensation, either reviewed through maqashid shariah or sociological jurisprudence, needs to be studied more deeply so that the results of the decision from the application can help to realize a household life that is sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah because marriage is not only for oneself but also for other people called family.

Diversity, distribution and conservation status of mangrove species in Pulias Bay, Indonesia

As an ecosystem, the mangrove ecosystem serves various purposes. The objectives of this study are to (1) identify the community structure of the important value index; and (2) evaluate the importance of the mangrove species diversity index in Pulias Bay in Ogodeide District, Tolitoli Regency. The study was conducted in 2021 using a quantitative descriptive methodology and survey method. The number of discovered species will be used to establish the species composition. The structure of the mangrove communities is being evaluated by calculating the relative density (RD) and frequency (FR). The data is tabulated to calculate the Important Value Index (IVI) value according to the Shannon-Wiener formula. There were 18 different species of mangroves discovered, including Rhizophora apiculata, Rh. mucronata, Rh. stylosa, Bruguiera parviflora, B. gymnorrhiza, Ceriops tagal, C. decandra, Sonneratia alba, S. caseolaris, S. ovata, Avicennia lanata, Xylocarpus moluccensis, Acrostichum aureum, Nypa fruticans, and Pemphis acidula. The Rhizophoraceae family predominated at each observation station, according to the findings of the vegetation analysis. Meanwhile the most rarely found species of mangrove were Acrostichum aureum, Sonneratia casiolaris, and Xylocarpus moluccensis, each with two specimens. The community structure reveals that X. moluccensis has the lowest IVI value of 12.7%, while Rhizophora mucronata has an IVI value of 101.3%. The mangrove Diversity Index (H') has a value of 2.48 and meets the standards for moderate diversity. Physical and chemical parameter measurements often indicate that the four stations or sites where the data was collected have similar conditions. Interestingly, we also found Avicennia lanata, a mangrove species that falls under the Vulnerable category. The collected information can be used to manage the mangrove forest in Pulias Bay in the Ogodeide Sub-District of the Tolitoli Regency and serve as a database for efforts to conserve mangroves and mitigate the effects of global warming.

PENGARUH PENDAPATAN DAN KONSUMSI RUMAH TANGGA TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN KELUARGA PETANI DI DESA JANJA KOMPI KECAMATAN LAMPASIO KABUPATEN TOLITOLI

This study aims to determine the Effect of Household Income and Consumption on the Welfare of Farmer Families in Janja Kompi Village, Lampasio District, Tolitoli Regency. This research uses associative quantitative methods. Data sources are in the form of primary data obtained through questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation related to this study. Data analysis techniques are used by performing calculations using the SPSS data application version 26. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of income on the welfare of farmer families partially as evidenced by the results of the income variable t test which shows a significance result of 0.042 < 0.05. Whereas in the variable t test of household consumption, a significance result of 0.151 > 0.05 was obtained, thus household consumption did not have a partial influence on the welfare of farmers. As well as obtained the results of the F test that the significance value (0.005) < a (0.05), which means that the variables of income (X1), household consumption (X2) together or simultaneously affect the welfare of farmers (Y).
