Introduction: Hematological malignancies are increased in Japan. Gastrointestinal area are also increasing of its number. We experienced cases and will report that we reviewed multiple neoplasms consisting hematological malignancies and gastrointestinal cancer. We experienced 176 cases Methods: We intended for multiple neoplasms 340 cases including hematological malignancy. We reviewed 157 cases of multiple neoplasms including hematological malignancies and gastrointestinal cancer. The examination factors are type of the hematological malignancy, gender, the age at onset of the first cancer, interval with the second cancer, treatment strategy. The definition of multiple neoplasms followed Warren & Gates theory. And as for the definition of synchronous type, a diagnosis interval is less than 6 months, metachronous type interval is more than 6 months. About statistical examination, we used SPSS statistics ver21. Results: All cases are 157 cases, consist of male 123 cases, female 34 cases, synchronous type 44 cases, metachronous type 113 cases. Double neoplasms 116 cases, triple neoplasms 37 cases, quadruple neoplasms 4 cases. The median age was 72yrs (ranged44-89yrs), the synchronous type 68yrs(ranged 44-88years), the metachronous type was 73yrs(ranged 47-89yrs). The kind of hematological malignancies, Hodgkin lymphoma 3 cases, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma 75 cases, myelodysplastic syndrome 30 cases, acute myeloid leukemia 11 cases, multiple myeloma 11 cases, chronic myeloid leukemia 8 cases, macroglobrinemia 7 cases, acute lymphoblastic leukemia 5 cases, others 10 cases. About solid cancer, esophageal cancer 18 cases, gastric cancer 80 cases, colon cancer 66 cases, lung cancer 11 cases, renal cell carcinoma 5 cases, prostate cancer 5 cases, breast cancer 3 cases, hepatocellular carcinoma 5 cases others 6 cases. In double neoplasms was 116 cases, metachronous type was 79 cases. About interval between solid cancer and hematological malignancies in 80 cases, median interval time was 58M, solid cancer precedence case was 51 cases, interval was 62M (ranged 7-564M), hematological malignancy precedence case was 28 cases, interval was 31M (ranged 7-281M). The cause of death, 12 cases were solid cancer, 69 cases were hematological malignancy and 3 cases were accident. In all cases, the median overall survival was 26M, synchronous type 20M, metachronous type 33M. Conclusion: In the case of a double cancer including solid cancer and NHL, the first cancer occurs in elderly. Diagnosis of malignant neoplasms within 3 years were 29 cases out of 79 cases(36.7%). The important point is that 3 years are required for careful observation at the time of malignancy diagnosis. It is necessary to discover at the early stage. So it could be a lot of treatment options for malignant neoplasms. We think that a prognosis is improved.
