Mengintegrasikan Pendidikan Karakter Dalam Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Teknologi Informasi Di Sekolah Dasar

Indonesian education faces problems with improving ethics that can be integrated with Information Technology. It is important to carry out research implementation to develop character-based learning media. This research is descriptive and qualitative with data collection techniques; interviews, observation, and documentation of learning media in schools. Research locations in several elementary schools in Padang City. This research analyses learning media, character education, and the needs of elementary school students. The research results show that students need character-based learning media to strengthen their character values. These findings highlight the importance of character education from an early age in forming a strong moral and ethical foundation. Apart from that, integration of information technology is also a major need for students. By using IT-based learning media, students can dig deeper into their digital competencies. Integrating character into IT-based learning media promises a holistic approach to meeting students' needs not only academically but also in terms of character development and digital literacy. Analysis of character education highlights the urgent need to improve students' character. Incorporating character into learning the media is a powerful tool for forming positive attitudes, behaviour, and values ​​in students. Therefore, the results of this analysis suggest the need to integrate efforts to meet the needs of students at the elementary level in a comprehensive manner. The combination of text-based learning media and information technology is the key to creating a learning environment that answers the needs of the times and produces a competent and ethical generation.

Personalised Recommendation of Literary Learning Resources Based on a Mixed Recommendation of Learning Interest and Contextual Awareness

In an effort to improve the efficiency and recommendation accuracy of mobile learning resources, the study proposes a hybrid mobile learning strategy based on Collaborative Filtering (CF), context and interest. Analyse from the perspective of situational awareness, construct a personalised recommendation model for text learning resources based on GimbalTM, and obtain a recommendation form. The experimental results show that the RMSE and MAE of Context-Collaborative filtering (C-CF) are lower than those of traditional CF. The Precision and Recall values of C-CF are higher than those of CF at 10 s, the recommendation growth rates of traditional CF and C-CF are 2.09% and 1.67%, respectively. The Gimbal software enables a certain degree of learner location detection and can trigger contextual rules based on time and location contexts to provide users with personalised text-based learning resources. The research results indicate that in specific applications, over time, under the recommendation system, students’ grades steadily increase, which is also beneficial for improving their learning efficiency.

Model pedagogi genre untuk mengembangkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman bahasa indonesia di sekolah dasar

This study aims to describe of genre pedagogy learning model on Indonesian language comprehension in elementary school. This research uses literature study method with descriptive analysis technique. In this study, researchers sought data from the number or relevant books on genre pedagogy learning model and reading comprehension in Indonesian language in elementary school. Genre pedagogy is a text-based learning model based on a teaching and learning cycle where teachers provide guidance and interaction to learners before learners create texts independently. In practice, this genre pedagogy is implemented using four stages, namely the initial stage of Building Knowledge, the second stage is modelling, the third stage is joint construction and the last stage, namely independent construction. The application of the genre pedagogy model can indirectly motivate learners to utilize various learning resources around them in reading comprehension, especially when learners build their own understanding.

The Effectiveness of Using the Two Stay Two Stray Type Cooperative Model in Learning to Write Negotiation Text

The basis of the research background is based on the curiosity of how this type of two stay two stay cooperative model is used in text-based learning, especially in negotiating text material in class X. So that it produces a problem formulation, namely whether the two stay two stray type of cooperative model in text learning is this negotiation effective? This study intends to determine the effectiveness of the two-stay two-stray cooperative model. In this study using an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. A total of 25 students from class X MIPA 5 were sampled in the study. From the results of the study, it was proven that the initial test and final test showed an increase with an average initial test of 56.36 and an average of 67.6 in the final test. So that, it can be concluded that the two stay two stray type of cooperative model is effectively used in learning to write negotiating texts.

PharmaMemory: an interactive, animated web application for learning autonomic physiology and pharmacology.

Medical students face challenging but important topics they must learn in short periods of time, such as autonomic pharmacology. Autonomic pharmacology is difficult in that it requires students to synthesize detailed anatomy, physiology, clinical reasoning, and pharmacology. The subject poses a challenge to learn as it is often introduced early in medical school curricula. To ease the difficulty of learning autonomic pharmacology, we created a free web application, PharmaMemory (www.pharmamemory.com), that interactively depicts the effects of high-yield autonomic drugs on the human body. PharmaMemory provides users with the opportunity to read and quiz themselves on the mechanisms, side effects, indications, and contraindications of these drugs while interacting with the application. We provided PharmaMemory to first-year medical students for three consecutive years of quality improvement and assessed the application's perceived effects on learning via user surveys. Survey feedback showed that users viewed PharmaMemory favorably and self-reported increased knowledge and confidence in the subject of autonomic pharmacology. Comments revealed that users liked the website's visuals, opportunity for challenged recall, and conciseness. PharmaMemory utilizes challenged recall, visual stimulation, and interactive learning to provide users with a multifaceted learning tool. Preliminary data suggest that students find this method of learning beneficial. Further studies are needed to assess PharmaMemory compared with more traditional learning methods such as PowerPoint or text-based learning. Additionally, further research is needed to quantitatively assess reduction in cognitive load.NEW & NOTEWORTHY PharmaMemory (www.pharmamemory.com) is a free web application that interactively depicts the effects of high-yield autonomic drugs on the human body.

Address matching using machine learning methods: An application to register-based census

Today, most activities of the statistical offices need to be adapted to the modernization policies of the national statistical system. Therefore, the application of machine learning techniques is mandatory for the main activities of statistical centers. These include important issues such as coding business activities, address matching, prediction of response propensities, and many others. One of the common applications of machine learning methods in official statistics is to match a statistical address to a postal address, in order to establish a link between register-based census and traditional censuses with the aim of providing time series census information. Since there is no unique identifier to directly map the records from different databases, text-based approaches can be applied. In this paper, a novel application of machine learning will be investigated to integrate data sources of governmental records and census, employing text-based learning. Additionally, three new methods of machine learning classification algorithms are proposed. A simulation study has been performed to evaluate the robustness of methods in terms of the degree of duplication and purity of the texts. Due to the limitation of the R programming environment on big data sets, all programming has been successfully implemented on SAS (Statistical analysis system) software.

Penerapan Model Case Based Learning (CBL) Dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Negosiasi Pada Peserta Didik Kelas X SMK Mataram Semarang Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024

In the latest curriculum, Indonesian language learning is oriented towards text-based learning. Therefore, students are invited to be able to produce various types of texts according to the material taught. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the case-based learning model in the case-based learning (CBL) learning model in the Indonesian language subject of writing negotiation texts for class X students at SMK Mataram Semarang in the 2023/2024 academic year, the method used is descriptive qualitative method. This research focuses on the differences after the application of the case-based learning (CBL) model by using observation data, interviews with educators and students and documentation. As for data analysis techniques using descriptive by displaying the results of observations, the results of interviews with educators and students, student learning outcomes in the form of writing results and documentation such as learning documentation based on the steps in the application of the case-based learning (CBL) model and several other supporters. The results obtained after the application of this learning model are that students can have scores above the KKM and can also write independently the negotiation text that has been made in accordance with the linguistic rules.The conclusion based on the results of this study is that the application of the case base learning (CBL) model in class X Boga 1 SMK Mataram Semarang in the 2023/2024 academic year can be applied as an effective learning model to make students in writing negotiation text. In addition, this application can also add alternative learning for educators.

Strategi Guru Bahasa Indonesia pada pembelajaran berbasis teks sebagai pengembangan kemampuan berpikir Siswa SMA Negeri Di Kota Pontianak

Text as a means of learning Indonesian may be developed and conditioned in such a manner that it can be a successful technique for Indonesian language teachers. Understanding text-based Indonesian learning materials takes extensive preparation and conditioning on the part of students. Purpose of this study is to analyse, comprehend, and characterise the process of text-based Indonesian language acquisition as it is implemented by instructors at public high schools in Pontianak City. This study, which used a descriptive approach with a qualitative form, also targeted Indonesian language instructors by selecting five public high schools in Pontianak as a representative sample. Direct observation and interview approaches were utilised to collect data, with data collecting devices in the form of observation sheets and interview lists. Furthermore, triangulation techniques were used in the last step of the data analysis process to test the validity of new data utilising data collecting, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the findings of observations and interviews, it was discovered that Indonesian instructors' text-based learning methodologies may more effectively and efficiently establish an environment conducive to Indonesian language acquisition. Because students may undertake a detailed examination and analysis of a text, their comprehension of its structure and linguistic qualities is more in-depth and thorough. This research can also provide studies and has for the Merdeka Belajar curriculum to continue to provide recommendations for text-based Indonesian language learning strategies so that learning indicators and objectives can be achieved.

This study is useful for secondary school teachers, lecturers, student-teachers, and policymakers in planning and implementing text-based learning.

Evaluation of Islamic Religious Education: Optimal Approach to Increase Tolerance

<em><span lang="EN-US">Inter-religious tolerance is one of the noble values of Islam that is important to be maintained and preserved. Efforts to increase tolerance can be made in several ways, one of which is through education. </span><span lang="EN-US">This article reviews the importance of integrating cultural values in the Islamic religious education curriculum as a strategy to reduce the potential for radicalism and increase intercultural tolerance in Indonesia.</span><span lang="EN-US"> The method used in this research is a systematic literature review (SLR), using the Google Scholar and Scopus databases using the Publish or Perish 8 tool with the PRISMA technique. The search results found a total of 332 articles, then excluded 42 articles that were retained for analysis and assessed for quality and relevance according to the research questions. The results of this study show that the majority of research focuses on the Indonesian context, which sees an urgent need for tolerance education in pluralistic societies. </span><span lang="EN-US">Diverse research approaches, ranging from the development of multicultural education programs to religious text-based learning models, show the dynamics of teaching tolerance. The findings also highlight the importance of interactive and participatory learning methods and the critical role of local wisdom in tolerance education. By presenting a comprehensive literature review, this article provides valuable insights for policymakers, educational practitioners, and researchers in designing effective educational strategies to counter radicalism and strengthen intercultural tolerance through Islamic religious education.</span></em>

Strengthening the Role of Indonesian Language in the 2013 Curriculum According to Text-Based Language Learning

Before the 2013 Curriculum was set by the government, Indonesian only played a role as a subject and a vehicle for communication in schools. This role appears to be increasing along with the shift in the Indonesian language learning paradigm through text-based learning. This research aims to explore the role of Indonesians in the 2013 Curriculum and the implications of its methodology for learning. The method used is descriptive qualitative using library documents. The research data is in the form of Indonesian language teaching materials for junior high schools sourced from books issued by the government. The research results show that the function of the Indonesian language is confirmed by its existence as a catalyst and vehicle for science, technology, and art (science and technology). The increase in the function of the Indonesian language is also in line with the application of text-based learning methods through four learning stages, namely building context, modeling text, building text together, and building text independently. In this context, Indonesian is at the forefront of absorbing science and technology; conveying information through ideas and opinions; and binding the diversity of languages, ethnicities, and religions in the form of complete diversity.

PELATIHAN PENERAPAN KURIKULUM MERDEKA BELAJAR DI DALAM KONTEKS PENGAJARAN DAN PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS

This article reports a community service program held by the Master’s Program in English Language Education at the Faculty of Language Arts, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana, in collaboration with the Salatiga Education Department. The program was in the form of teachers’ training about best practices of implementing the Merdeka Belajar curriculum in the English language teaching and learning practices. Thirty-six (36) English teachers in junior high schools in Salatiga participated in this training from July 31 – August 1, 2023. There were five main sessions in the training, namely (1) critical thinking and Merdeka belajar, (2) differentiated instruction in the ELT contexts/EFL classrooms, (3) digital text-based learning for teaching English in secondary schools, (4) best practices in technology-enhanced language learning, and (5) the implementation of Merdeka Belajar curriculum: A reflection. Brief descriptions of what the presenters discussed in each of their sessions, directions for future community service programs, and research are presented.

Using Local-Wisdom Literature in Teaching English through Text-Based Method on Merdeka Belajar Curriculum

Literary text-based learning is interesting because literature learning in schools is often neglected. Literature learning often focuses on knowledge-based learning. The changing curriculum does not guarantee a change in the learning system in elementary school classrooms. Therefore, this study aims to describe the process of teaching and learning text-based literature at the elementary school level and its impact on students’ writing skills. Qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods were used. A qualitative method was used to describe the teaching and learning process in the classroom, while a quantitative method was used to assess learning outcomes. Techniques used were observation, interviews, and narrative writing tests, with the research object being three school teachers and 60 students from 3 schools in Samosir Regency. The results showed that the Seventh-Grade secondary school teachers in Samosir Regency do not yet understand text-based literature learning techniques fully, so teachers still use conventional methods. The results of teaching and learning activities on students’ ability to write narratives showed an average score of 73.27. This value has reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) but has not yet been maximized because there are still obstacles.

Drawing as a strategy for children to learn ancient Chinese poetry

Drawing is regarded as a promising strategy for children's learning, which has greatly been supported by research using science texts as learning materials. To shed light on the benefit of drawing on children's text-based learning in humanities, two classes of 86 grade 5 children were required to learn an ancient Chinese poem in an actual classroom setting, either by drawing a visual picture illustrating the poem or by reading repeatedly at their own pace as usual. Data analyses were conducted using (generalized) linear mixed-effects models. The results indicated that children who were allowed to generate a drawing during learning showed better learning performance of the entire poem than children who were allowed to read repeatedly regarding the delayed posttest rather than the immediate posttest. Besides, children in the drawing group reported a higher level of learning motivation than those in the reading group. We argue that the generative drawing effect can be tentatively extended to ancient Chinese poetry education.

Penerapan Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Berbasis Teks di SDN 95/II Muara Bungo

Learning Indonesian in elementary schools (SD) plays an important role in developing language skills in students. One of the increasingly popular approaches to language learning is the text-based approach. This article reviews the application of text-based Indonesian learning in the elementary school environment. The purpose of this study is to explain the text-based teaching method applied in elementary schools and to analyze its relationship to students' ability to speak Indonesian. Research methods include class observation, curriculum analysis, and evaluation of student learning outcomes. The results of the study show that the application of text-based learning in elementary school provides an approach that is contextual and relevant to students' daily lives. This has the potential to increase students' interest and understanding of Indonesian material. Nonetheless, challenges in its implementation, such as curriculum adjustments and assessments, also need attention. This article concludes that the application of text-based Indonesian learning in elementary schools can be an effective alternative in improving students' language skills if supported by the right approach and careful planning.

Pembelajaran Berbasis Audio Visual pada Materi Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi Kelas X SMA Budi Agung Medan

This study examines Indonesian language learning in class X SMA Budi Agung Medan, focusing on the development of audiovisual-based learning media using Macromedia Flash software. The 2013 curriculum necessitates adaptable learning media to facilitate students' independent learning with teachers as facilitators. However, the current text-based learning approach is limited. The research used the research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model. Data were collected from media and material experts, as well as lecturers and teachers in Indonesian language studies and learning media. The results showed that the audiovisual-based learning media received a feasibility value of 84.0% (appropriate) for media and 81.0% (adequate) for material. The teacher's response to the media was 80.76%, while the student's response was 80.2%. This study highlights the importance of implementing effective learning media in line with the 2013 curriculum to enhance the learning experience.

UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA KARTU SUKU KATA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Reading has a big effect on students' ability to accept subject matter, especially text-based learning, students who are unable to read well will have difficulty participating in learning activities for all subjects. Children's initial reading ability is the child's ability to master reading techniques and understand the contents of the reading well. One of the learning methods to improve children's early reading skills is to use syllable media. The method used in this research is literature research (library research). Beginning reading ability in children is focused on six stages of ability aspects, namely: (1) Ability to read symbols, (2) Ability to read letters, (3) Ability to read types of vowel and consonant sounds, (4) Ability to name letter sounds, (5) Ability reading syllables, and (6) Ability to read words. Media Syllable cards can help teachers achieve instructional goals because apart from being cheap and easy to obtain media, they can also increase student activity. In addition, students' knowledge and understanding becomes wider, clearer, and not easily forgotten
