“Lansia Berdaya” Program Penguatan Posyandu Lansia Dusun 2 Desa Karangwuni Sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Pengetahuan dan Pencegahan Hipertensi

Hypertension, a non-communicable disease, exhibits significant death and suffering rates worldwide, including in Indonesia. Hypertension ranks as the third leading cause of mortality in Indonesia, following strokes and tuberculosis, primarily impacting the older population. Dusun 2 Karangwuni is a region that experiences a high mortality rate due to hypertension. The hypertension screening findings revealed that out of the 49 elderly visitors to Posyandu, 41 of them were found to have hypertension. The team's objective is to implement the dedication of Lansia Berdaya's activities in managing hypertension in Dusun Two village, Karangwuni, Weru district. The Lansia activities occur in Dukuh Ngampas, Dusun 2, Village KarangWuni, district Weru, Sukoharjo. Activities encompass kader upgrading training, hypertension assessment, rehabilitation, and elderly gymnastics. The sequence of events will occur in February 2023. The intended recipients are 17 healthcare professionals, whereas the intended recipients are 47 individuals. Activities are evaluated by examining the level of knowledge, which is determined using pre-test and post-test values. Heath cadre training was conducted with 17 audiences. Hypertension screening, senior gymnastics, and health education activities were conducted and attended by 47 seniors. The hypertension exercise video has been distributed to the health cadre. The video is anticipated to serve as a comprehensive manual for gymnastics exercises at Posyandu Lansia to establish a long-lasting and sustainable devotion program.

Setting conservation objectives with value‐focused thinking

AbstractThe approach common to well‐known conservation planning frameworks is rooted in values, like species persistence and quality habitat, and expectations resulting from conservation actions, like restoration and protection. We evaluated value‐focused thinking (VFT) as a framework for setting objectives based on personal or group values. Our approach included five steps: eliciting individual participant values, specifying objectives, organizing objectives, structuring multiple objectives, and a quality check. We implemented these steps with 12 conservation planning teams at a global conservation organization. We performed descriptive analyses based on comparisons between final group objectives and initial individual objectives as well as the quality check. We found that participants could only self‐identify a proportion of the team's objectives, which VFT strengthened. Participants were equally challenged with identifying means and ends objectives, contrasting with general VFT theory. Both experienced and newly formed teams effectively applied VFT. Our study formalizes a common‐sense approach to evaluating the underlying drivers of conservation planning so that its resulting outcomes can be most impactful.

Fostering hybrid team performance through inclusive leadership strategies

Over the past years, hybrid teams have emerged as a prevalent phenomenon in the new work arrangements. Effective inclusive leadership strategies are essential for leveraging the full potential of hybrid teams, fostering collaboration, achieving high performance, and improving team members’ well-being. Hybrid teams have members who frequently shift between co-located and remote working. This makes them face unique challenges with technology-mediated communication (e.g., trust development) and the leaders' need to balance the preferences and needs of co-located and remote team members. Leaders must ensure that all team members feel valued and included, regardless of location or schedule, in order to achieve team objectives and enhance well-being. This paper explores hybrid team leaders’ challenges in managing diversity, equity, and inclusion, offering evidence-based strategies and practical recommendations. Specifically, we emphasize strategies for building trust and psychological safety, leveraging diversity as a strength, promoting cross-cultural understanding, establishing clear communication channels, and encouraging collaboration. By empowering hybrid team leaders with these insights, the aim is to foster a culture of inclusion and create an environment where all team members feel valued, ultimately leading to enhanced individual and team performance and team member well-being.

THE ART OF GAMIFICATION FOR SOCIETAL MIND SHIFTS: REFINING HUMAN BEHAVIOUR THROUGH STRATEGIC ENGAGEMENT

Gamification has emerged as a transformative approach, infusing elements of game design into non-game contexts to engage and inspire individuals. This paper explores the artistry behind gamification, focusing on rewarding systems, badge systems, narrative storytelling, teamwork integration, and its application in various domains like education, behavioral change, awareness, and community building. The mastery of gamification's rewarding system design is crucial for fostering engagement and inspiring users to adopt desirable behaviors. Understanding audience preferences and motivations, setting clear objectives, and providing timely feedback are fundamental principles in crafting effective rewarding systems. Similarly, badge systems play a pivotal role in recognizing achievements and motivating users. Symbolic design, clear standards, customization, feedback mechanisms, iteration, and releasing new badges contribute to a vibrant badge ecosystem. Narrative storytelling is identified as a key component of gamification, enhancing engagement, motivation, and learning. By developing compelling narratives, creating likable characters, defining clear goals, establishing milestones, incorporating decision points, evoking emotions, and ensuring originality, gamified experiences can become memorable and motivating journeys. Furthermore, the integration of teamwork into gamification promotes cooperation, competitiveness, and community among players. Defined team objectives, balanced team structures, assigned responsibilities, progress monitoring, and team-oriented challenges foster collaboration and camaraderie. The paper also discusses the role of gamification in various contexts, including education, behavioral change, awareness, and community building. Through interactive art installations, gamified experiences, and collaborative projects, gamification serves as a catalyst for societal mind shifts, spreading awareness, promoting behavioral change, and fostering community cohesion. In conclusion, the gamification of art enhances interactivity, raises awareness, influences behavioral change, and strengthens communities. By embracing gamification strategies, individuals and organizations can harness the power of play to inspire positive outcomes and societal transformations across diverse domains.

Understanding the role of gaze behaviour and coaching experience in the assessment of youth soccer teams

ABSTRACT This study aimed to explore the perceptual-cognitive characteristics of coaches as they assessed team performance in youth soccer. The primary focus was to investigate the alignment between coaches’ subjective analyses of team behaviour and objective analyses, while also examining the relationship between coaches’ gaze behaviour and their levels of coaching experience, particularly considering the potential differences that may exist among coaches with varying levels of experience. Sixty-five male and female adults with various soccer coaching experience (experienced, novice, other team sport experience, and non-team sport experience) watched five 4-minute videos and assessed team behaviour. These subjective evaluations were compared to objective data obtained from video analysis and GPS, which included measures of completed skills, spatiotemporal characteristics, and passing networks. The participants’ fixation duration and frequency were measured for each video clip, and the area around the ball specifically. The study found no significant differences between groups regarding the number of times participants’ subjective analysis aligned with the objective data (p = 0.059, ɳ2 = 0.07). However, coaches with soccer coaching experience demonstrated a higher fixation frequency and more revisits to the ball area when compared to participants without soccer experience (p = <.001, ɳ2 = 0.09). The current study offers a unique approach to uncovering soccer coaching expertise by combining objective and subjective evaluations of team performance. In summary, the study reveals that coaching experience did not impact how often coaches subjective analyses matched objective data. However, soccer coaches had distinctive gaze behaviour patterns where they revisited the area around the ball more often.

Dissemination, Utilization, and Satisfaction With Emergency Medicine Resident Simulation Curriculum for Pediatrics (EM ReSCu Peds) by North American Residency Programs.

Our research team's primary objective was to investigate how a custom standard simulation curriculum for teaching emergency medicine residents about pediatrics was being used by programs across North America. We also wanted to know if program directors were satisfied with the curriculum and whether they had challenges with implementing it. Our long-term goal is to promote the Emergency Medicine Resident Simulation Curriculum for Pediatrics for use by all programs in the United States. We distributed an electronic questionnaire to individuals who have downloaded the Emergency Medicine Resident Simulation Curriculum for Pediatrics in the form of an e-book from the Academic Life in Emergency Medicine Web site. The curriculum was marketed through national emergency medicine (EM) and pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) groups, PEM listserv, and through the International Network for Simulation-Based Pediatric Innovation, Research, and Education. We asked survey recipients how they used the curriculum, plans for future maintenance, satisfaction with curriculum use, and whether they had any challenges with implementation. Finally, we asked demographic questions. Most survey respondents were EM or PEM health care physicians in the United States or Canada. Respondents' primary goal of using the curriculum was resident education. Through assessment with the Net Promoter Score, satisfaction with the curriculum was net positive with users largely scoring as curriculum promoters. We found COVID-19 and overall time limitations to be implementation barriers, whereas learner interest in topics was the largest cited facilitator. Most responders plan to continue to implement either selected cases or the entire curriculum in the future. Of those who responded, our target audience of EM physicians used our curriculum the most. Further investigation on implementation needs, specifically for lower resource emergency programs, is needed.

Team climate and job satisfaction in a mobile emergency service: a multilevel study.

to investigate the relationship between team climate and job satisfaction among professionals working in mobile pre-hospital care. this is a quantitative, correlational study carried out in a mobile pre-hospital care service in the São Paulo Metropolitan Region. The participants were 95 professionals, allocated to 40 teams, who answered three questionnaires: sociodemographic/labor data, Team Climate Scale and S20/23 Job Satisfaction Scale. Descriptive statistics and multilevel linear models were used for the analysis, including moderation effects. The Backward method was used to ascertain the order of significance. in the models, the relationships between satisfaction with hierarchical relationships and the factor "support for new ideas" moderated for men and "task orientation" for women were significant. For satisfaction with the physical environment, "working hours" and "participation in the team" were significant and, for intrinsic satisfaction, the regime, working hours and the factors "team objectives", "participation in the team" and "support for new ideas" remained significant, as did the moderation effect between length of service, "participation in the team" and "support for new ideas". team climate is influenced by job satisfaction in a heterogeneous way and the moderating effect of this relationship is associated with gender and length of service. (1) There was a positive perception of the team climate and job satisfaction. (2)The team climate influenced job satisfaction in a heterogeneous way. (3) The moderating effect of this relationship was associated with gender and working hours. (4) The working regime and working hours directly affected intrinsic satisfaction.

Cohesion and Heterosexist Attitudes in Men’s Collegiate Athletics

While attitudes toward gay men in sport have improved, sexual prejudice persists in sport, with the potential to decrease team social bonds. We examined the relationship between heterosexist attitudes and cohesion in men’s collegiate sports. Male college athletes (N = 264) completed the Heterosexist Attitudes in Sport–Gay Men scale and the Group Environment Questionnaire. We found a significant multivariate relationship among heterosexist attitudes and cohesion, Λ = .88, F(8, 518) = 4.28, p &lt; .001, with 10.6% overlapping variance between the two variate sets. Cognitive/affective heterosexist attitudes, attraction to group-task, group integration-task, and group integration-social contributed to the relationship. Heterosexism and sexual prejudice may serve as distractions from team objectives. Mental performance consultants working within men’s college sport should challenge negative stereotypes of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and queer individuals; reward inclusive efforts; and leverage team building to reduce heterosexism in sport.

Redefining Success: How Personal Ambitions and Confidence Levels Shape IT Project Dynamic

Abstract Background Failures in information technology (IT) projects continue to concern executives and organisations. Individuals are realising that to remain competitive in the workplace, they must develop skills to become successful project team members and project managers. Objectives The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between IT project team members’ competencies and their impact on IT project success, considering the iron triangle. Methods/Approach Our study is based on IT projects that have been implemented for a public or private organisation in Slovenia and where contractors are employed in IT development enterprises on a sample of 141 IT companies. Step-wise regression was used to determine which competencies of various project roles are relevant for project success. Results The most intriguing result is the negative association of achievement orientation with project success for analysts or consultants, suggesting that an excessive focus on personal accomplishments could potentially conflict with team objectives. Additionally, the variation in the significance of self-confidence across roles, particularly its less critical impact on project managers, challenges conventional wisdom regarding the universal importance of confidence in leadership positions. Conclusions These insights reveal the nuanced and role-specific contributions of individual characteristics to project success, highlighting the importance of aligning personal traits and professional actions with the project team’s collective goals.

The Quest for Improving Sickle Cell Care: Creating High-Level Quality Improvement Goals with a Care Process Team

Background: A Care Process Team (CPT) is an interdisciplinary team focused on improvement effort across systems or a population cohort with high degree of variation in care, high volume, high cost, or institutional priority. The Texas Children's Hospital Quality &amp; Safety Department has implemented CPTs for several disease populations including, asthma, diabetes, and pain management. In 2021, the sickle cell CPT (SCCPT) was launched in partnership with the Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center. An early step in developing a CPT is delineating goals via a balanced scorecard, a comprehensive framework that translates the team's strategic objectives into a coherent set of performance measures. After establishing priority quality metrics, the SCCPT sought to establish an operational structure and to define and implement specific quality improvement (QI) initiatives to improve outcomes. Methods: The SCCPT assembled a multi-disciplinary expert panel which included providers, nurses, division leadership, data architects, analysts, and quality specialists. After a systematic review of the literature identified metrics with best practice evidence, a modified-Delphi process was used to rank quality metrics according to standards set forth by the National Quality Forum. High-priority metrics were organized into a balanced scorecard. Goals were developed based on Institute of Healthcare QI methodology. A QlikView® dashboard was created to abstract patient data from the electronic medical record. Results: The expert panel met 7 times between January to October 2021. The systematic review found 26 quality measures for SCD and subsequently panel review expanded the list to 34 measures. Expert consensus was reached and 5 metrics were selected for the final SCCPT balanced scorecard. The SCCPT initiated routine meetings in January 2022. Three goals and SMART aims were prioritized from balanced scorecard metrics relating to stroke screenings, disease-modifying drug education and prescriptions, and assignment of a primary Hematology team. Baseline data revealed that 60% of eligible children with SCD had obtained a transcranial Doppler ultrasound within the last 15 months. Hydroxyurea was prescribed to 70% of patients with Hb SS or S/beta-0-thalassemia disease. Primary Hematologist and nurse coordinator teams were assigned to 50% and 23%, respectively. To design and implement QI projects, two teams were created: one focused on prevention-related metrics and the other on treatment-related metrics. Discussion: The successful launch of the SCCPT involved the convening a team of multi-disciplinary members, creation of a balanced scorecard, prioritizing goals, and analyzing baseline data to set SMART aims related to improving SCD care. Two operational teams were created and have proceeded to design and implement QI projects related to SMART aims.

Success interrupted: exploring how supporters interpret their team's success in a postponed competition

ABSTRACT Research purpose: This study has two aims: (1) to explore how supporters evaluate success when their team's objective performance record does not change but subjective features of the context do change (e.g. competition format, potential league cancellation); and (2) to explore why winning a championship is important to evaluations of in-group status – in addition to a large points advantage. Research methods: We conducted a netnographic study of Liverpool Football Club supporters during the COVID-19 postponement of the English Premier League. In total, we analysed 15,193 forum posts added between 11th March and 3rd June 2020, using a theoretical thematic analysis. Results and findings: Three themes emerged from our interpretations of the data. First, winning the championship had value – in addition to the club's 25-point advantage – because supporters felt it would immortalise their status as the best team in 2019–2020 permanently. Second, supporters’ perceptions of success reduced when it was perceived to occur in a structure that did not conform to shared expectations for league completion. Third, supporters perceived that winning the championship would enable a moment at which players, coaches, and supporters could experience complete solidarity as their shared goal became reality. Implications: Our analysis shed new light on the ways in which context relates to the evaluation of intergroup status in sport. Furthermore, we reveal why winning a championship adds value beyond objective advantages.

Distributed Multi-Agent Hierarchy Construction for Dynamic DCOPs in Mobile Sensor Teams

Coordinating multiple agents to optimize an objective has several real-world applications. In areas such as disaster rescue, environment monitoring and the like, mobile agents may be deployed to work as a team to achieve a joint goal. Recently, multi-agent problems involving mobile sensor teams have been formalized in the literature as DCOP_MSTs. Under this class of problems, DCOP algorithms are applied to enable agents to coordinate the assignment of their physical locations as they jointly optimize the team objective. In DCOP_MSTs, the environment is dynamic, and agents may leave or join the environment at random times. As a result, a predefined interaction topology or graph may not be useful over the problem horizon. Therefore, there is a need to study methods that could facilitate agent-to-agent interaction in such open and dynamic environments. Existing methods require reconstructing the entire graph upon detecting changes in the environment or assume a predefined interaction graph. In this study, we propose a dynamic multi-agent hierarchy construction algorithm that can be used by DCOP_MST algorithms that require a pseudo-tree for execution. We evaluate our proposed method in a simulated target detection case study to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach in large agent teams.

An empirical taxonomy of leadership situations: Development, validation, and implications for the science and practice of leadership.

The situation plays an important role in leadership, yet there exists no comprehensive, well-accepted, and empirically validated framework for modeling leadership situations. This research used situation ratings and narratives from 1,159 leaders to empirically develop a taxonomy of leadership situations. Natural language processing techniques were used to generate psychological situation characteristics that were then rated by leaders. Factor analyses of leader ratings resulted in a taxonomy of psychological leadership situation characteristics with six dimensions (Positive Uniqueness, Importance, Negativity, Scope, Typicality, and Ease). Topic modeling of leader narratives provided a preliminary accompanying typology of structural leadership situation cue combinations (Market/Business Needs, Barriers to Effectiveness, Interpersonal Resources, Deviations/Changes, Team Objectives, and Logistics). To facilitate the measurement of the perceptions of situations, we developed a 27-item measure of the six dimensions of psychological leadership situation characteristics: the Leadership Situation Questionnaire (LSQ). We used the LSQ to conduct initial tests of the nomological network of psychological leadership situation characteristics by assessing their relationships with leader personality, leader behavior, outcomes of leadership situations, and structural leadership situation cue combinations. The psychological leadership situation characteristics taxonomy and the resulting measure (the LSQ) provide an organizing framework for existing leadership research, lay a foundation for future research on situation-related leadership hypotheses, and offer important practical implications in areas such as leader assessment and development. Using a Soccer team as a test bed for multi-agent systems simulation

The STMAS system is intended to imitate a soccer team and its behavior; we believe it can be used effectively as a test bed for multi-agent systems. It is constructed utilizing distributed agents that interact, communicate, and negotiate with each other to achieve the team objectives. It is based on the Jade simulation platform. The system is tested and compared to a pure soccer team using multiple MAS techniques. The results demonstrated that applying MAS techniques of negotiation and task distribution improves team performance, and STMAS is offered as an efficient test bed for new and distinct MAS techniques with varied scenario experiments. In addition, a mathematical model is created to compare the simulation results. Overall, STMAS provides a versatile and efficient MAS simulation and evaluation test bed. It is an excellent platform for comparing and evaluating various MAS approaches.

Design and Analysis of Solar Car Chassis for WSC 2023

The World Solar Challenger is a biennial global competition that plays a crucial role in testing and advancing the technological limits of solar-powered vehicles, particularly in the context of diverse travel conditions. The competition features three categories: Challenger Class, Cruiser Class, and Adventure Class. In 2023, Siam Technology University participated with the STC-4 model in the Cruiser Class. This research contributed to the vehicle's design, structural integrity, safety, and performance evaluation, essential for passing the scrutineering tests. Researchers were involved in shaping the vehicle's aerodynamics, analyzing structural aspects, and designing safety features compliant with World Solar Challenge 2023 requirements. The goal was to ensure the vehicle's safe participation and successful operation under varied conditions. The designed solar-powered vehicle, STC-4, aimed to address shortcomings from previous competitions. The structural framework, utilizing AISI 4130 steel, met safety standards, with a final weight of 258 kg. Structural testing ensured that the displacement did not exceed 25 mm. Finite Element Analysis confirmed the structural integrity, aligning with the team's objectives. In conclusion, this research significantly contributed to the design and safety aspects of solar-powered vehicles, as demonstrated by the successful participation of STC-4 in the World Solar Challenge 2023 Cruiser Class. The findings highlight advancements in structural design, safety measures, and performance capabilities, emphasizing the importance of continuous innovation in solar vehicle technology.

The Prospects of Quantum Secure Direct Communication: An Overview

Quantum-secure communication and computation have garnered increasing attention due to their powerful search capabilities for certain complex problems and their ability to provide unconditional security. This indicates that classical cryptography, such as asymmetric ciphers based on complex mathematics, faces a significant threat from quantum algorithms. However, quantum cryptography can detect any attempt to eavesdrop on a channel. As a result, the investigation and implementation of quantum computers and quantum-secure communication networks have become essential objectives for numerous research teams. This paper provides an overview of quantum cryptography, including its development, and focuses on the theoretical aspect of quantum secure direct communication (QSDC). This helps readers understand the theoretical operating principles and gain a better understanding of the entire quantum characteristic and protocol operation in the QSDC field. QSDC enables secure communication without previously shared private keys, making it a crucial topic in quantum cryptography research. This paper provides an overview of several well-known versions of QSDC in theory, discussing their applications, challenges and potential future directions.

Route “Roads of Memory”: Resource of the Commemorative Practice on the Places of Hostilities on the Territory of Russia and Belarus (1941–1945)

This article is devoted to the description of the implementation of the route “Roads of Memory” as a format of historical “immersion” in the research material that contributes to the reconstruction of social memory about the events of the Great Patriotic War, the phenomenon of human losses during the War, the formation of the meaning of this phenomenon and the veneration of humanistic value. This commemorative practice turned out to be extremely understandable and successful in the format of research objectives of the archival search team. In July 2019, a group of students with a professor, in connection with the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Byelorussian SSR territory from the invaders, went to the Republic of Belarus in order to visit the brotherly burials where the remains of Siberians rest. The commemoration was called “Roads of Memory” and covered the route from Novosibirsk through Moscow to Smolensk – Roslavl – Minsk – Vitebsk. The participants visited the burial sites of Red Army soldiers who died in battles during the Great Patriotic War or in concentration camps. The study used a set of complementary methods that contribute both to the effectiveness of the search and to the professional promotion of the participants of the archival search team. The narration of the events described by the route “Roads of Memory” is a combination of a diary essay and storytelling, in the tradition of the narrative approach.

Incentivizing Collaboration in Heterogeneous Teams via Common-Pool Resource Games

We consider a team of heterogeneous agents, which is collectively responsible for servicing, and subsequently reviewing a stream of homogeneous tasks. Each agent has an associated mean service time and a mean review time for servicing and reviewing the tasks, respectively. Agents receive a reward based on their service and review admission rates. The team objective is to collaboratively maximize the number of “serviced and reviewed” tasks. We formulate a common-pool resource game, and design utility functions to incentivize collaboration among heterogeneous agents in a decentralized manner. We show the existence of a unique pure Nash equilibrium (PNE), and establish convergence of the best response dynamics to this unique PNE. Finally, we establish an analytic upper bound on three inefficiency measures of the PNE, namely the price of anarchy, the ratio of the total review admission rate, and the ratio of latency.
