ANALISIS DAN PENGEMBANGAN MATERI AJAR DALAM KURIKULUM PAI

Abstract This research aims to analyze and develop teaching materials in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum. In the learning process, open materials have an important role in helping teachers achieve educational goals. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analytical approach. Data was collected through documentation studies and interviews with PAI teachers. The research results show that the material provided in the PAI curriculum needs to be adapted to current developments, student needs and local context. The development of teaching materials is carried out through the integration of character values, the use of technology and contextual approaches. This research recommends increasing teacher competence in developing and developing innovative and relevant teaching materials. Development Of Physics Teaching Materials On The Subject Of Light Interference Based On Discovery-inquiry For Senior High School Students

Abstract Efforts to improve student’s concept understanding can be used teaching materials that emphasize process skills. Researchers tried to make teaching materials using discovery-inquiry learning which is learning that emphasizes investigation (process skills) carried out by students. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of Physics Teaching Materials and Learning Guides on the subject of Light Interference in High School. This research is a development research that uses the first five steps of the Borg and Gall method, namely according to Borg and Gall. The results showed that the feasibility of content, language feasibility and content presentation of student teaching materials and teacher learning guides (teacher teaching materials) based on discovery-inquiry were categorized as feasible.

The purpose of this study is to explore the experiences of researcher who have practiced labor related human rights education in elementary school social lessons with an autoethnography and to provide implications for the operation of labor related human rights education linked to social studies. To gather evidence for this study, I complied a collection of lesson plans, student evaluations, and classroom observation records from a single semester. In addition, my own personal reflections and experiences as both a researcher and participant in the classroom served as a primary source of data. The research results are summarized as follows. First, I reorganized the curriculum by linking and integrating various subjects and creative experiential activities to practice labor related human rights education in social lessons, and conceived class activities by referring to various teaching and learning materials, but labor related human rights education could not be systematically dealt with. Second, the number of social lesson hours alone was not sufficient to deal with labor related human rights education. Third, it is not easy for fellow teachers to unite together, although the identity of a teacher who is a worker citizen must be established as a social textbook. Based on these research results, I would like to present implications for the practice of labor related human rights education in social studies lessons. First, it is necessary to develop teaching and learning materials for labor related human rights education centered on social studies achievement standards. Second, opportunities for understanding and experience of labor related human rights must be accompanied throughout educational activities. Third, it is necessary to change teachers’ perception of labor related human rights education.

The Urgency of Development Digital Comic Teaching Materials in Strengthening Character Education to Prevent Bullying Behavior for High School Students

The bullying phenomenon that occurs in the school environment shows that educational institutions are unable to provide a conducive and pleasant atmosphere for their students because the school climate seems like a "prison", and even acts of physical and verbal violence in the form of bullying often occur. Prevention of bullying behavior in the school environment can be done through strengthening character education. The lack of bullying educational teaching materials in schools is a serious problem amidst the massive bullying behavior that occurs in the school environment. Based on this phenomenon, the development of digital comic teaching materials to strengthen character education and prevent bullying is very necessary. This research aims to identify the urgency of digital comic teaching materials in strengthening character education to prevent bullying behavior. The method used in this research is quantitative-descriptive, with the research subjects being 259 high school students in Denpasar City. Research results based on student responses show that the character values that need to be instilled to prevent bullying behavior at school are 45% integrity, 23% religious, 20% independence, 10% mutual cooperation, and 2% nationalism. Meanwhile, regarding the condition of teaching materials to strengthen character education and prevent bullying behavior, 90% of students stated that there were no teaching materials. Students' perception of the development of digital comic teaching materials in strengthening character education to prevent bullying is that 84.2% are very interested in the development of digital comic teaching materials. Thus, based on students' perceptions of the development of digital comic teaching materials in strengthening character education to prevent bullying behavior, it is an urgency that must be carried out as a preventive measure in preventing bullying behavior that occurs in the school environment.

Analysis Of Meaning and Moral Education Values of Al Barzanji's Poetry in The Community Environment Cianjur District

The tradition of reading Barzanji's poems in Cianjur District seems to be decreasing and decreasing. The causal factors include 1) the lack of socialization and training from Barzanji speakers towards the younger generation, 2) the lack of interest and attention from the younger generation to learn the recitation of Barzanji's poems, 3) the absence of a specific institution to deepen Islamic cultural art in terms of this is the preservation of the tradition of reading Barzanji's poetry, 4) the rapid flow of infiltration of non-Islamic culture towards the Muslim community so that the Muslim community knows and applies non-Islamic cultures more than the Islamic culture itself. Furthermore, the author conveys that this research will describe the results of data analysis on the meaning and values ​​of Moral Education in the tradition of reading Barzanji's Poems in the community of Cianjur Regency. This method is descriptive. An effort to preserve the Barzanji tradition in the community of Cianjur Regency includes: 1) Improving the learning and training process for the Barzanji Tradition at Majlis Ta'lim and Islamic boarding schools so that the Barzanji tradition can be passed down from generation to generation, 2) Organizing a Barzanji festival periodically with involving religious institutions and schools, especially during religious holidays, 3) making or incorporating Barzanji poetry into teaching materials in Islamic Religious Education or Indonesian language subjects in schools from elementary to tertiary level, 4 ) Carrying out intensive outreach regarding the historicity and meaning of Barzanji's poetry to the wider community both in urban and rural areas.

Representasi Nilai-Nilai Karakter di Kampung Naga Sebagai Referensi Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan

This study examines the representation of character values in Naga Village as a reference for the development of teaching materials for Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn). Naga Village, as a traditional community in West Java, has local wisdom that is rich in cultural and moral values, such as environmental values, maintaining a clean and healthy lifestyle, fostering spirituality, applying discipline, and showing strong social concern. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore how these values are integrated in the daily life of the people of Naga Village. Data was obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study show that the character values in Naga Village are very relevant to the educational goals of PPKn, especially in the formation of attitudes and behaviors in accordance with Pancasila. Therefore, these values can be used as an important reference in the development of contextual and applicable teaching materials for students, in order to strengthen character and citizenship education in Indonesia.

The subject of the contribution is the identification of the possibilities and limits of incorporating work with digital forms of textbooks in the undergraduate training of future primary education teachers. The aim of the research was to determine the impact of incorporating additional digital teaching materials into the teaching of future primary education teachers in the master's degree on the level of digital competencies of the research sample. Through the analysis of the output data, we confirmed that the manipulation and mastering of work with digital textbooks and digital teaching materials for primary education within the undergraduate training of teacher students has the ability to positively influence the level of their information and data literacy.

The Malaysian Ministry of Education aspires to produce knowledgeable, creative and innovative music pupils, teachers, educators, researchers, material writers, and curriculum designers. Thus, there is an urgency to advocate new and current ways of attracting 21st century pupils to learn music. This study involves designing educational music teaching materials and approaches. It also evaluates the effectiveness of musical creativity, engagement, and learning outcomes through musical experience, music composition, and music appreciation. The findings of this study provide insights on ways that will help policymakers, curriculum designers, and music teachers in Malaysia to develop quality teaching and learning materials for future music education.

A prisoner is someone who is serving a sentence in a detention center. This research aims to: 1) describe Islamic Education teaching materials in the Padang Panjang City State Detention Center. 2) Developing Islamic Education Teaching Materials with the nuances of Adat Basandi Syara', Syara' Basandi Kitabullah (ABS SBK). 3) Revealing the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the development of Islamic Education Teaching Materials with the nuances of Adat Basandi Syara', Syara' Basandi Kitabullah (ABS SBK). This research is a development research or Research and Development (R&D) with research steps referring to the 4-D development model. The findings in this study are: 1) Islamic Education Teaching Materials at the Padang Panjang City State Detention Center have not been properly arranged in accordance with teaching material components such as a) KI and KD analysis, b) Material Title and Indicators and Objectives, c) Material Outline, d) References, and e) Illustrations of Images, Tables, Diagrams. 2) Based on experiments, Islamic Education Teaching Materials with the nuances of Adat Basandi Syara', Syara' Basandi Kitabullah (ABS SBK) can be applied in all Islamic Education teaching materials. 3) The validity, practicality and effectiveness tests show that the Islamic Education Teaching Materials with the nuances of Adat Basandi Syara', Syara' Basandi Kitabullah (ABS SBK) are very valid, practical and effective.

Generative AI for professional communication training in intercultural contexts: where are we now and where are we heading?

Abstract It is a common feature of the 21st century workplace to be multicultural. Working professionals need to possess strong Interactional Competence to handle professional communication in various intercultural encounters in their workplace. This has however posed challenges to professional communication education since educators need to incorporate different cultural practices and interlocutor profiles in their teaching and assessment materials. In this paper we reflect on the practical challenges of professional communication education in intercultural contexts and envisage what AI can offer in this place. We start with some practical, on-the-ground dilemmas in integrating diverse cultural representation in professional communication education. We then use an operational AI-mediated assessment tool to elaborate the possibilities, affordances and caveats in using AI to develop teaching and assessment materials for professional communication education. We conclude with directions for future research and practice in the emerging space of AI for professional communication in intercultural contexts (AI-for-PCIC).

Towards a critical approach in the design and use of teaching materials for language education

Uma pedagogia se torna relevante quando a sua prática é colocada em evidência, bem como tudo o que for necessário para colocá-la em funcionamento (Akbari, 2008; Crookes, 2013). Assim, considerando a centralidade dos materiais didáticos em sala de aula (Garson; Graves, 2014), explorar a relevância desses recursos para uma pedagogia crítica pode ser um excelente caminho para evidenciar esse modo de ensinar. Partindo dessa perspectiva, este trabalho tem como objetivo fomentar a discussão acerca da criticidade na educação linguística apresentando princípios que podem orientar o ensino crítico bem como um exemplo de abordagem na elaboração e uso de materiais didáticos que contempla a criticidade (Montenegro, 2022). Para tal, professores de inglês em formação participaram de uma oficina de materiais didáticos sob uma perspectiva crítica de ensino e ministraram aulas durante a prática em Estágio Supervisionado em uma universidade pública baiana. Os resultados obtidos apontam para a utilização de códigos (Freire, 1987; Wallerstein; Auerbach, 2004) e do princípio do diálogo (Crookes, 2013; Freire, 1987; Wallerstein; Auerbach, 2004) como elementos determinantes para a implementação de uma abordagem problematizadora (Wallerstein; Auerbach, 2004).

Furthermore, it advocates for the integration of digital technologies to cater to the preferences and needs of modern learners. The conceptual framework presented in this paper serves as a guide for educators and curriculum developers in creating comprehensive and effective PAI teaching materials that promote meaningful learning outcomes and foster a deeper understanding of Islamic principles and values.

Multicultural Education in Developing Islamic Education Teaching Materials on Students' Tolerant Attitudes in Elementary Schools

This article aims to provide an overview of Multicultural Education in developing Islamic education Teaching Materials towards Students' Attitudes of Tolerance. The research method used is research in the form of a library study as a step in solving a problem by carefully and intensely reviewing relevant library data. The sources of library data in question are books, scientific articles and journals. The approach is descriptive qualitative, where the use of data is taken qualitatively and described or explained descriptively. Data processing to produce information is obtained through several processes including the process of searching for data, the process of collecting data, the process of processing/analyzing data, and the process of concluding data. The research results found that Islamic education learning through multicultural education ensures that students are not only able to understand and master the subject matter they study. In this case, what a teacher needs to do is form a Islamic education learning pattern through activities in the classroom; be universal and not discriminate between students; and inserting tolerance values in teaching materials.

The Role Of Education Management In Improving Learning Innovation

Innovation in learning has become the main focus to improve the quality of education in many countries. With the development of information and communication technology and the changing needs of learners in the 21st century, schools are faced with the challenge of continuously adapting and developing effective and relevant learning methods. The role of education management is crucial in this context. Good management can create a supportive environment for innovation and encourage the implementation of new, more effective learning methods. Education management includes school leadership, teacher professional development, resource management and the establishment of a school culture that supports innovation. Visionary and supportive leadership can be a catalyst for positive change in schools, encouraging teaching staff to innovate in their teaching methods. Continuous professional development for teachers is also important, providing them with opportunities to continue learning and developing. Efficient and effective resource management supports learning innovation by ensuring adequate infrastructure, such as the latest educational technology and innovative teaching materials. Building a school culture that supports collaboration and experimentation is also important to create a conducive environment for innovation. This research aims to explore the role of education management in enhancing learning innovation in schools. Through a qualitative approach with case studies in several high schools implementing learning innovations, this research identifies key factors that encourage or hinder innovation. By understanding the role of education management, it is expected that effective strategies can be found to improve the quality of learning in various schools.

Evaluation of the Implementation of Pre-Primary Education in the South-East Geopolitical Zone of Nigeria

Pre-primary education is globally recognized as important stage in the life of a growing child. This is because experiences at this stage have far-reaching effects on the behaviour of the child as adult member of the society. This study is an evaluation research which focused on the implementation of pre-primary education using policy stipulations as the standards. It is also a survey study because the researchers went to the field to meet the things on the ground with instruments that enable data collection and reports are presented as seen without manipulations. The area of the study is Imo State in the South-East geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The population of teachers in the four hundred and seventy threee-primary schools in the State is Five Hundred and Forty One. The sample size is One Hundred and seventy eight teachers in 38 pre-primary schools drawn using proportionate cluster random sampling techniques. This is to achieve a good spread across the three education zones of the state and each zone was represented in the sample according to its school population. Instruments for data collection were school records, interview and observation checklists and a proforma for abstracting the teachers qualifications. Four research questions guided the study. Findings include that 93.26% of the teachers were not trained to teach in the pre-primary education level, teaching and learning materials were far inadequate, and the teachers focused more on getting the pupils learn to carry out written works, thus maintaining strict academic work and strong discipline as opposed to independent activities that boost initiatives and creativity. It was recommended that teachers should be sponsored to go back to school and get training in the early childhood education among other recommendations.

Exploring the significant problems confronting secondary schools history education: a baseline study

The purpose of this baseline study is to determine the significant problems confronting history education in secondary school. The researchers employed qualitative research methods and case study design. The techniques that were employed to acquire credible data were document analysis, interviews, and classroom observation. Six experienced history education teachers and eight top-ten students from Sebeta town public secondary school were interviewed, and academic achievement statistics of 174 students in history education were analyzed. In addition eight lesson observations were carried out to validate the information gleaned from the interviews and document analysis. The study's findings show that the primary challenges influencing history education in Sebeta town public secondary schools were teaching strategy, a lack of awareness about implementing participatory teaching methods, a lack of comprehensiveness of the contents of history education teaching materials, and the issue of the bulkiness and scope of history education texts being covered on time. The findings also indicate the significance of training history education teachers to use participatory teaching tactics, as well as the need for curriculum experts to better coordinate the range of history education content and teaching strategies. The findings of this study will help teachers, practitioners, scholars, policymakers, and educational professionals find solutions to significant problems in secondary school history education, as well as develop effective techniques for teaching history education in secondary schools that involve twenty-first century skills and abilities.

Effects of an Animation-Based Comprehensive Sexuality Education Package: A 2-Year Repeated Intervention Study.

Preadolescents, who are in a transitional phase of development, may experience higher exposure to heterosexual interactions while facing higher risks regarding misinformation in sexual knowledge and unsafe engagement in sexual activities. There is a deficiency in the availability of qualified educators and age-appropriate teaching materials for sexuality education in China. We implemented an animation-based comprehensive sexuality education package among preadolescents aged 9 to 12 years from eight schools in Anhui, China. The first round of intervention included 1,835 participants, lasting 2 months from September to November 2020. A total of 374 participants, accounting for 52% of the intervention group, received a second round of intervention in September 2021. Participants completed immediate follow-up assessment and 1-year follow-up assessment to assess changes in their sexual knowledge, attitudes, and other outcomes. Propensity score matching and difference-in-difference analysis were performed to determine the short- and long-term impacts. Significant improvements were observed for both sexual knowledge and sexual attitudes in the immediate follow-up. There was no significant effect on pornography-seeking behavior or awareness of experiencing sexual abuse. After 1 year, the effect was sustained for sexual knowledge, but slightly declined for sexual attitudes. The second intervention significantly improved sexual knowledge; however, no significant change in sexual attitudes, pornography-seeking behavior, or awareness of experiencing sexual abuse was observed. Our comprehensive sexuality education package was effective in improving sexual knowledge both immediately and 1 year after the intervention. Repeated intervention can be an effective strategy for promoting preadolescent health development regarding comprehensive sexuality education.
