Reform Strategies for the Popular Music Public Course Based on Key Competences

This study aims to explore the application potential of international music teaching methods in the reform of public basic courses of popular music in Chinese universities. Using mixed research methods, the applicability of Dalcroze, Kodaly, and Orff teaching methods was systematically evaluated through expert interviews, teaching material development, and a quasi-experimental design. The study found that these methods have high overall applicability in the Chinese higher education environment (average rating 4.183/5), but require localization adjustments. Based on this, the innovative textbook "Fundamentals and Applications of Popular Music" (IOC value 0.920) and a 12-week teaching plan (IOC value 0.880) were developed. The results of the 16-week teaching experiment showed that the students in the experimental group were significantly better than the control group in terms of music theory knowledge, appreciation ability, creative ability and learning interest (p<0.01). This study proposes a curriculum reform strategy that integrates innovation, technology empowerment, and interdisciplinary integration, providing theoretical basis and practical guidance for improving the quality of popular music education in colleges and universities. Future research directions include expanding the sample scope, conducting long-term follow-up studies, and deepening cross-cultural comparative analysis.

Cultural Persons’ Representations in High School English Language Teaching Materials in Indonesia

Integrating both local and target cultures in English Language Teaching Materials and emphasizes the need for balance to promote cultural diversity and understanding become an important thing in today’s era. During teaching practice activities at SMAN 17 Tebo, the researcher found that the cultural materials in the English Teaching Materials used are not balanced between the source culture, target culture, and international culture. This has an impact on cross-cultural understanding and less than optimal cultural awareness among students. The purpose of this research is to explore the representation of cultural persons in government textbook and teacher-made modules. This research uses qualitative content analysis as a research design. This research involved a sample of government-approved English language textbooks entitled “Bahasa Inggris Work in Progress” and a teacher-made module at SMAN 11 Tebo. The results show that from the theme of great athletes in chapter one of the Bahasa Inggris Work In Progress textbook and teacher-made module, it can be seen that the dominant sports branch comes from international culture. While the cultural persons represented as athletes are dominated by the source culture. It is recommended that future development of English language teaching (ELT) materials, both in government textbooks like Bahasa Inggris Work in Progress and teacher-made modules, should strive for a more balanced representation of source culture, target culture, and international culture for fostering intercultural competence among Indonesian students.

Development of Digital Teaching Materials for Short Story Texts Based on Local Wisdom in Middle Schools (Phase D)

Education must integrate local wisdom to prevent cultural values ​​from fading in the era of globalization. The Merdeka Curriculum supports this with the flexibility to emphasize character education and independence. Digital teaching materials based on local wisdom, such as short story texts, can improve students' reading, writing and cultural understanding skills. The aim of this research is to develop and test digital teaching materials for short story texts based on local wisdom for junior high school students. This research used the ADDIE method with the help of 2 media and language validators as well as 6 students and 3 teachers in testing teaching materials. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The teaching material design process begins with an analysis of student needs and the curriculum, followed by creating a storyboard and validation by two validators who state that the teaching material is very worthy of being tested. The implementation of local wisdom-based teaching materials shows high effectiveness, with student responses reaching 90% and teacher responses 87%, both in the very good category.

Academic Administration that Affects Proactive Learning of Educational Institutions under Chaiyaphum Municipality

Background and Aims: This research aims to study and compare the level of academic administration that affects active learning management in educational institutions under Chaiyaphum Municipality. The analysis will be separated according to educational level. Work experience and type of educational institution. In addition, there is a study of academic administration guidelines that can affect the management of active learning in these educational institutions. Methodology: The sample used in the research consisted of 129 personnel in educational institutions under Chaiyaphum Municipality, which were obtained from stratified random sampling. The research tools included a questionnaire using a 5-level rating scale and a structured interview with an IOC between 0.80 - 1.00 and a confidence value of 0.83. For the statistics used in data analysis, such as frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. T-test, F-test, and pairwise difference test using the Scheffé Method. Results: the finding found that (1) Academic administration that affects the management of active learning in educational institutions under Chaiyaphum Municipality, overall it is at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that academic administration that affects proactive learning management is at a high level in every aspect. (2) Results of the comparative analysis of opinions regarding academic administration that affect active learning management of educational institutions under Chaiyaphum Municipality. Classified by educational level work experience and type of educational institution found that there was no difference. (3) Guidelines for academic administration that affect active learning management in educational institutions under Chaiyaphum Municipality include improving or changing the curriculum to be consistent with active learning management. educational institution context and student context. Encouraging teachers to organize problem-based teaching and learning activities. integrated teaching. Encouraging teachers to measure and evaluate learning according to actual conditions, which meets the aims of education. and use the evaluation results to develop individual learners. Teachers are also encouraged to develop modern teaching materials. Conclusion: The findings show that academic administration has a significant impact on active learning management in educational institutions in Chaiyaphum Municipality, with consistently high performance across all aspects. There were no differences according to educational level, work experience, or type of institution. Aligning curricula with active learning, encouraging problem-based and integrated teaching, promoting authentic assessment, and facilitating the development of modern teaching materials through technology and supervision are all important guidelines for improving academic administration.

The Innovation of Arabic Teaching Material Development in the Digital Era at Al-Fityan School Gowa IT High School

In facing the ever-evolving digital era, the development of Arabic teaching materials at Al-Fityan School Gowa IT High School requires innovations that are able to meet the needs of modern and effective learning. This article discusses various innovations applied in the development of Arabic teaching materials, ranging from the integration of multimedia technology to the utilization of interactive e-learning platforms. The main purpose of these innovations is to improve learning effectiveness, expand accessibility, and support students' various learning styles. Using qualitative research method through case study design, this article analyzes the implementation of digital technology in Arabic teaching materials at Al-Fityan School Gowa IT High School. Data were obtained through semi-structured in-depth interviews and analyzed with three stages of Miles and Huberman's qualitative data analysis technique: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the use of mobile applications, learning videos and other digital aids significantly increased students' interest and understanding of Arabic. The article also identifies challenges faced, including limited infrastructure and teacher readiness. Recommendations are given for the continued development of adaptive and inclusive digital teaching materials, in order to create a more dynamic and effective Arabic learning experience in this digital era.

ANALISIS DAN PENGEMBANGAN MATERI AJAR DALAM KURIKULUM PAI

Abstract This research aims to analyze and develop teaching materials in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum. In the learning process, open materials have an important role in helping teachers achieve educational goals. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analytical approach. Data was collected through documentation studies and interviews with PAI teachers. The research results show that the material provided in the PAI curriculum needs to be adapted to current developments, student needs and local context. The development of teaching materials is carried out through the integration of character values, the use of technology and contextual approaches. This research recommends increasing teacher competence in developing and developing innovative and relevant teaching materials. Development Of Sociological-Based Social Science Teaching Materials to Improve Students’ Humanistic Attitudes and Multicultural Skills in Elementary School in Denpasar City

This research was initiated due to the low level of humanistic attitudes and multicultural skills of students in Social Science subjects in the Fifth Grade. This research aims to create a product in the form of sociological-based teaching materials (e-modules). The type of this research is Research and Development (R&D). This research applied the Borg and Gall development model. The Borg and Gall development model has relatively long stages; there are 10 implementation stages. The instrument of this research is questionnaires. The data analysis which was conducted on the developed teaching materials shows that it can be categorized as "excellent". The results of the tests show that there is an effect between the developed sociological-based teaching materials and each dependent variable. Besides, a further test was implemented to determine the simultaneous effect of sociological-based teaching materials on students' humanistic attitudes and multicultural skills. The results of significant treatment by Pillai's Trace, Wilks' Lambda, Hotelling's Trace, and Roy's Largest Root procedures show a significant value was 0.000, where 0.000 < 0.05; according to the criteria, H0 (rejected) and H1 (accepted), the independent variable of sociological-based teaching materials shows an effect on the dependent variables (humanistic attitudes and multicultural skills). The results of this research indicate that sociological-based teaching materials are feasible to be used.

Digital Teaching Materials of Logical Thinking - Oriented Exposition Text for X Graders of SMA/MA/SMK

This research aims to develop a logical thinking-oriented exposition digital teaching material product that is feasible and effective for Indonesian Language learning in grade X students of SMA/MA/SMK. This research uses a research and development method (Research and Development) with the ADDIE (Analysis Design Development Implementation Evaluation) model. Data collection in the study was carried out and analyzed descriptively, both quantitative and qualitative. The result of the design and development of this digital teaching material is a digital module in the form of pdf and a Flipbook consisting of a cover, concept map, learning objectives, until author biodata. It also contains materials in videos to practice listening, reading and writing that can be accessed in youtube by scanning the link. The results of product validation by language, material and media validators and practitioners stated that the digital teaching materials of logical thinking-oriented exposition texts for SMA/MA/SMK with a result of 80.79% mean "Feasible" to use. The results of the implementation of digital teaching materials for logical thinking-oriented exposition texts for 63 grade X students at SMAN 1 Gantar, SMAN 1 Gantar and MA Ma'had al-Zaytun, showed that there was a significant development between student learning outcomes before and after the use of digital teaching materials after being assessed using the T-Test (Paired sample Test), meaning "effective" for learning exposition text materials. Thus, digital teaching materials for logical thinking-oriented exposition texts for teachers and students of class X SMA/MA/SMK are feasible and effective in learning.

Improving the Writing Skills of Class XB Students at SMA Negeri 5 Kupang Through the Development of Canva-Based Interactive Teaching Materials

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terbatasnya referensi pembelajaran yang digunakan siswa Kelas XB SMA Negeri 5 Kupang dalam menulis pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa kelas XB SMA Negeri 5 Kupang dengan menggunakan bahan ajar interaktif berbasis Canva. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang melibatkan 36 siswa SMA Negeri 5 Kupang kelas XB tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan tes yang semuanya dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil penilaian siswa meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus III yaitu masing-masing mencapai 75%, 90% dan 95% yang melampaui Kriteria Ketuntasan Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP) dengan nilai 88; (2) guru sudah menunjukkan peningkatan dalam membuat bahan ajar terbuka interaktif dengan menggunakan aplikasi Canva; dan (3) siswa memiliki respon positif ketika menggunakan bahan ajar interaktif karena lebih mudah dipahami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Hasil penilaian siswa meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus III yaitu 75%, 90%, 95% dan melampaui Kriteria Ketuntasan Sasaran Pembelajaran (KKTP) dengan nilai 88; (2) Telah terjadi peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar interaktif berbasis aplikasi Canva; (3) Siswa memberikan respon positif ketika menggunakan bahan ajar interaktif karena lebih mudah dipahami, menarik, serta dapat digunakan kapan saja dan dimana saja. Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan bahan ajar interaktif berbasis Canva mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas XB SMA Negeri 5 Kupang tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Pengembangan E-Book Interaktif Berbasis Canva pada Materi Akhlak-Ku Kelas VI MIS Hidayatul Ilmi Kalitata Kabupaten Luwu Utara

This research discusses the development of a Canva-based interactive e-book for my morals material in class VI MIS Hidayatul Ilmi Kalitata. The research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The subjects are class VI students of MIS Hidayatul Ilmi Kalitata for the 2023/2024 academic year. Data was collected through observation, questionnaires and interviews, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively and descriptively quantitatively. The research results show that this Canva-based interactive e-book is valid with a high score, namely 90.90% by media experts, 85.71% by material experts, and 91.66% by language experts. In terms of practicality, this e-book was also rated highly by teachers (82.8%) and students (83.8%). Thus, this interactive e-book is suitable for use in the process of learning my morals material at the school. This research contributes to developing teaching materials that are more interactive and relevant to technological developments, as well as providing empirical evidence regarding the validity and practicality of their use in the learning context of class VI MIS Hidayatul Ilmi Kalitata.

Development of Flipbook-Based E-Module to Improve Students’ Learning Outcomes in Basketball Course

Limited learning resources for integrating theory and practice in e-module-based physical education, particularly in basketball, present challenges in enhancing student learning outcomes. This study addresses the development and assessment of multimedia-based basketball teaching materials aimed at improving students' understanding and performance in sports education. This research employed a Research and Development (RD) approach with a quantitative design. The developed multimedia basketball game application was evaluated by experts, including basketball coaches and university lecturers from Medan State University, to assess its suitability as a teaching resource. The evaluation process involved both content and media experts. The assessment by basketball learning material experts yielded a score of 87.52%, indicating the application is highly suitable for use in educational settings. Media experts provided a score of 89.70%, further affirming the multimedia basketball application’s effectiveness as a teaching tool. Both evaluations reflect the application’s potential to bridge the gap between theory and practice in basketball education. The findings suggest that the multimedia basketball game application is a viable tool for enhancing basketball education. Its implementation can improve the quality of teaching, support lecturers in delivering complex content, and ultimately enhance students' learning outcomes in sports science. The development of a multimedia-based e-module for basketball is a significant step towards improving the resources available for physical education. The application has been validated by experts and can be effectively integrated into the curriculum to enhance learning in basketball courses.

Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Teks Anekdot Berbasis Aplikasi TikTok pada Siswa Kelas X SMA Istiqlal Delitua

The research that has been carried out is entitled "Development of Anecdotal Text Teaching Materials Based on the TikTok Application for Class This research aims to develop anecdotal text teaching materials based on the TikTok application for class X2 students at Istiqlal Delitua Private High School. The methodology of this research is RND. The subjects in this research were class X2 students at Istiqlal Delitua Private High School. The data collection techniques are observation, documentation and tests. The assessment aspects used in this research are the appropriateness of the content of the anecdote text, the appropriateness of the structure of the anecdote text, the accuracy of words, the appropriateness of capital letter spelling and writing layout, criticism and humor. The research results show that the development of anecdotal text teaching materials based on the TikTok application for class X2 students at Istiqlal Delitua Private High School, especially anecdotal text material. The average obtained in general is in the very good category with a score of 90% from the media expert validation results, while from the results of the material expert validation the score is in the very good category with a score of 98% and from the results of student responses the score is in the good category, with a score of 82. 7% Thus, it can be concluded that the development of anecdotal text teaching materials based on the TikTok application for class

Development of Flipbook-Assisted Interactive Teaching Materials to Improve Learning Outcomes

SD 2 Mlati Lor Kudus has important problems in learning activities, including limited digital learning media so that student learning outcomes are relatively low, especially in science education material regarding style and its influence in everyday life. This research aims to develop products, test the effectiveness and feasibility of implementing interactive learning media for teaching materials in class IV natural education and social science subjects at SD 2 Mlati Lor Kudus-Central Java. This research applies research and development (RnD) using the ADDIE research model design. This research produced four things, including: 1) Development of flipbook-based digital teaching materials on science learning style material; 2) The students response to the interactive media flipbook-based digital teaching materials was very valid with a score percentage of 93.5%; 3) Media product feasibility test which is considered very valid by experts with an average final validation of 90%; 4) The t-test results showed SIG (2-tailed) 0.00 < 0.05, indicating an increase in the average results before and after treatment on small-scale tests and large-scale tests, so it can be concluded that flipbook-based digital teaching materials have succeeded in improving student learning outcomes in fourth grade elementary school student style material subjects (science and social studies).

Profile of Science Literacy and Cultural Awareness of Students and the Need for Science Teaching Materials Integrated with Local Potential of STEAM-PBL Based Petis in Sumenep

Science literacy is a must have ability for students in the 21st century and cultural awareness is needed so that students can selectively choose outside cultures. However, in Indonesia science literacy and cultural awareness are low. This study aims to determine the profile of science literacy and cultural awareness of students and the need for STEAM-PBL-based local potential integrated science teaching materials. This research is a descriptive research. The research sample amounted to 93 junior high school students in 3 Sumenep District schools selected by purposive random sampling technique. Data collection used tests to measure science literacy, questionnaires to determine cultural awareness and need STEAM-PBL-based local potential “petis” integrated science teaching materials. Data analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed; 80.65% of students were in the low category and 19.35% were in the medium category, the lowest student ability was to explain phenomena scientifically; 88.17% of students' cultural awareness was in the low category and 11.83% of students were in the medium category. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that students' science literacy and cultural awareness are low and it is necessary to develop teaching materials integrated with the local potential of STEAM-PBL-based petis.

BUILDING STEM TOPICS IN BLENDED LEARNING ABOUT ENERGY TO CONTRIBUTE TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION

With the goal of education aimed at sustainable development as reflected in the 2018 General Education Program, schools in general and the subject of physics in particular need to educate students to raise awareness about energy issues and how to use energy efficiently, safely, and reasonably. Therefore, this report presents the research results on building the STEM topic “Energy” in blended learning, contributing to sustainable development education. The research results propose a process of blended learning stages and the development of teaching materials to support teachers in teaching STEM topics about energy, helping students develop competencies and the ability to cope with future challenges. Developing Observation Report Text Teaching Materials Using Flip HTML5 Application

Indonesian language learning implements an independent curriculum, making students the subjects and centers of learning. This curriculum emphasizes developing students' thinking skills in solving problems and projects that can shape character according to the Pancasila student profile and 21st-century skills. In this digital era, education should take advantage of this situation by developing teaching materials, such as converting texts into electronic formats that make it easier for students to access them at school or home. This study aims to produce an e-module of observation report texts for grade X vocational school students. The method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The study results indicate that this e-module is considered very valid by material and media experts and suitable for digital teaching. This e-module can be accessed online, allowing students to learn anytime and anywhere. Expert validation shows that this e-module effectively increases student accessibility and involvement in learning.

Development of Digital Phonology Teaching Materials Using Shadowing Techniques for Korean BIPA Learners

This research aims to produce digital phonology teaching materials using the shadowing technique to improve the pronunciation skills of basic-level Korean BIPA learners. The research method employed Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques involved needs analysis by interviewing BIPA learners and instructors, then conducting pronunciation tests on Korean BIPA learners to identify pronunciation challenges and specific needs for material development. Based on this analysis, the digital teaching materials were designed and developed, then validated by media experts, material experts, and BIPA practitioners. Data analysis techniques in this research included quantitative and qualitative methods. The result showed that the development of digital phonology teaching materials with shadowing techniques for Korean BIPA learners was effective in improving Indonesian pronunciation skills. The evaluation results showed that this teaching material received a very positive response from teachers and learners, with feasibility test scores of 98% and 94% respectively, as well as expert validation that supported the quality of the teaching material. Thus, this digital teaching material not only meets the expected standards, but also offers concrete solutions to the pronunciation challenges faced by Korean BIPA learners, and is ready to be used to improve the effectiveness of Indonesian pronunciation learning.

Development of Digital Teaching Materials for Indonesian Phonetics with Sound Association Design for Basic Level BIPA Arabic Learners

This research aims to develop digital teaching materials for Indonesian phonetics designed with sound association to support basic-level BIPA learners. This research method used research and development with the 4-D model, which consists of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The research instruments included pronunciation ability tests, learner needs questionnaires, BIPA teacher interview instruments, and validation sheets from experts and practitioners. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative methods and Gregory's validity test with validity assessment criteria using the Likert Scale 1-4. The validation results indicated that the materials were "feasible" with some necessary revisions. After making the suggested revisions, the revised materials were piloted with basic-level BIPA learners. Feedback from these learners rated the materials as "very feasible", indicating a positive reception. The final product is a digital flipbook equipped with audio pronunciation guides and illustrations that can be accessed online. This format provides a flexible and engaging alternative for improving Indonesian pronunciation for Arabic-speaking BIPA learners, making it a valuable addition to the available teaching resources.

Development of Flipbook-Based E-Module Integrated with External Features to Facilitate Student Self-Learning

This study aims to develop a flipbook-based E-Module integrated with external features to facilitate student self-learning. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) method with an ADDIE model, which consists of five stages, i.e., analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. The needs analysis of teaching material development was conducted through surveys, interviews, and observations. The validity test used a validation instrument filled out by three experts. Practicality was measured using the results of a questionnaire filled out by students as respondents. The data collected were then analyzed quantitatively. The results showed that the flipbook-based E-Module integrated with external features was categorized as very valid with a percentage of 91.09% and very practical with a score of 90.14%. Flipbook-based E-Module facilitated student self-learning in accordance with its character, namely self-instructional, self-contained, stand-alone, adaptive, and user-friendly characteristics.
