The topical issues of constructing an intelligence system for assessing the quality of processing threaded surfaces and testing for flaws when manufacturing critical products based on light field (LF) recording have been considered. Algorithms and methods have been developed for monitoring the main geometric parameters of the shape and of the surface defects in images obtained from a light field recorder by digitizing the images and morphologically analyzing image layers. An implementation is proposed for the developed algorithms on the platform of the National Instruments software using intelligence algorithms based on the principle of programmable logic. It has been shown that the accuracy of the results of determining the geometric characteristics with the proposed solutions allows one to diagnose technological equipment in the process of material machining.
