Design of Supplier Selection of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) of the Palm Oil Industry

The research aims to identify the optimal strategy for selecting suppliers, analyse criteria priorities, and rank the best suppliers in PT X, Paser Regency. The research method uses quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires based on the ANP (Analytical Network Process) model. The sample was determined using purposive sampling of three employees of PT X. The analysis was conducted in three stages: descriptive, ANP using super decision software, and TOPSIS to rank the FFB suppliers. The results on ANP showed that the design of selection of FFB suppliers in PT X is based on 5 criteria and 16 sub-criteria. Price criteria include payment method, low price, easy agreement, and price stability. The claim policy criteria include quick response, assistance, and warranty. Quality criteria involve technical conformity, quality consistency, and defect rate. Geographical location criteria consider climate, distance, road conditions, and delivery time. The delivery criterion prioritises the sub criteria of the accuracy of the number of deliveries. The conclusion from TOPSIS showed that the highest ranking of FFB suppliers is given to UD. Naila Naufal Jaya, superior on price, quality, delivery, geographic location, and warranty criteria.

Analysis of Cost Overrun & Time Overrun Causal Factors Affecting Construction Project Cost Performance Using Dematel & ANP

The estimation of project costs and completion timelines are crucial aspects that need to be accurately predicted, as they are key indicators of a project's success. Issues like cost overruns and delays in project completion have become common in the construction industry. PT XYZ, a mining construction company, encountered a cost overrun in May 2023, leading to a 21.6% increase in the budget. According to the initial project baseline, it was expected to be completed by September 2023, but faced an 8-month delay. This study aims to explore the external factors causing cost and time overruns, identify the most significant factors, and propose recommendations to reduce these issues. The research methods used are Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) and Analytical Network Process (ANP) to examine the relationship between the factors and determine the most dominant one. Data was collected through questionnaires, and a threshold was set via a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with experienced professionals in construction who played a key role in project decisions. The DEMATEL analysis, with a threshold of 0.5000, produced a relationship diagram of the criteria, and the ANP analysis, conducted using SuperDecisions software, revealed that the most influential factor affecting cost and time overruns is the accuracy of the Scope of Work (SOW) . As a result, it is recommended that PT XYZ improve project management and ensure higher accuracy in defining the SOW for future projects

Integrasi Analytic Network Processing dan Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution sebagai Perancangan Strategi dalam Meningkatkan Daya Saing pada Perguruan Tinggi XYZ

Seizing consumer preferences is crucial for organisations amidst increasingly intense competition. Success in this competition depends on the product's ability to fulfil customer needs and wants. All universities in Indonesia are faced with similar challenges, namely how to formulate and plan for their future in the face of ever-evolving societal changes. To respond to this challenge, it is necessary to develop a strategy that increases the competitiveness of universities. From the literature review, the criteria for increasing the competitiveness of the XYZ Institute are obtained, namely, product, price, place, promotion, people, process, physical evidence. Each criterion, through the brainstorming, is broken down into sub-criteria. The process to determine the right strategy design can be done in many methods, and among them are the ANP (Analytical Network Process) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods. The results of weighting the criteria using the ANP method using the Super Decisions software are then ranked using the TOPSIS method. The result is that the three best strategies are to improve the Product, namely, Alumni Quality (score 0.713397108), followed by improving Promotion, namely, the Institute accreditation score (score 0.709584147) and the People aspect, namely, student input selection (score 0.704887758).

Cash Waqf Management for Education: Challenges, Solutions and Strategies

In Indonesia, the potential for funding educational initiatives through the empowerment of cash waqf is considerable, with estimates reaching up to IDR 120 trillion annually. As of March 2022, cash waqf collections amounted to IDR 1.4 trillion, a notable increase from the IDR 855 billion accumulated between 2018 and 2021. Despite this growth, cash waqf collections remain far below their potential, limiting their impact on educational empowerment. While various researchers have proposed strategies to address these obstacles, there is a paucity of research on an ideal model for empowering education through cash waqf in Indonesia. This study aims to develop a model for the empowerment of cash waqf specifically for educational programs in Indonesia. The research utilizes the Analytic Network Process (ANP) methodology, aided by Super Decision software, which is a decision-making method based on priority scales. The study conducts a synthesis analysis of problems, solutions, and strategies related to this issue. The findings indicate that both internal and external challenges affect the empowerment of cash waqf in education, with management being the primary concern. Relevant strategies include waqf policy enhancement, nazhir (waqf managers) training and empowerment, strengthening educational programs, and promoting cash waqf. An investment-based model, coupled with partnerships, scholarships, and educational initiatives, offers insights into the management of cash waqf, from collection processes to empowerment within the educational sector.

Analisis Penerapan Metode Analytical Network Process (ANP) Pada Pemilihan Tempat Kost Terbaik di Daerah Kampus ITK

The Analytic Network Process (ANP) method is an approach that can be used to represent the level of importance from various parties by considering the interconnected relationships between criteria and sub-criteria. This model is a development of the AHP method, thus it has a higher level of complexity compared to the AHP method. In this paper, the issue addressed is the selection of the best boarding house location in the ITK campus area located at Km. 15 Karang Joang, North Balikpapan. This selection is done using the super decision software, aiming to determine the ranking order of boarding houses that have the best quality or alternatives according to the students of the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) through questionnaire filling and interviews with the students. There are three criteria used in this selection, first is the distance with sub-criteria of distance from the boarding house to the campus and distance from the boarding house to the city. Second, the price criterion with sub-criteria of monthly rent and electricity-water costs, and others. Third, the facilities criterion with sub-criteria of bathroom, parking, and kitchen. As for the alternatives, 10 boarding houses are used. Based on the research results, the alternative solutions obtained are ranked in the top 3 boarding houses. Reverse Logistics and the Circular Economy: A Study before and after the Implementation of the National Solid Waste Policy in Brazil

This article analyzes Reverse Logistics (RL) practices associated with the concept of Circular Economy (CE), comparing studies conducted before and after the implementation of the National Solid Waste Policy (NSWP) in Brazil. Data from companies in the Sul Fluminense region were analyzed using the Analytic Hierarchy Process to prioritize RL practices and identify those related to CE. The research included companies from nine Brazilian economic sectors that engage in some form of RL. The comparison of results aimed to evaluate the influence of the NSWP on these practices, with data analyzed using the Super Decisions software (version 3.2) to establish priorities and aggregate them using the Aggregating Individual Priorities method. It was observed that the implementation of the NSWP in 2010 emphasized the importance of sustainability. Although the concept of CE is recent, its operationalization is based on consolidated RL practices such as recycling, remanufacturing, and material reuse. The study provides insights to optimize and expand these practices, facilitating the transition from a linear economy to a circular one.

Evaluation of vegetable green logistics in Lanling County of China based on DEMATEL-ANP-FCE model

IntroductionDue to the problems of greenhouse gas emissions, noise pollution, and vegetable waste pollution during the transportation of vegetables, it is not conducive to the sustainable development of the environment. To mitigate the pollution of the environment during transportation, vegetable green logistics plays a pivotal role in promoting both environmental sustainability and high-quality economic development. Therefore, it is crucial to evaluate the development of vegetable green logistics.MethodsThis research builds a DEMATEL-ANP-FCE model to scientifically assess the development of vegetable green logistics in Lanling County. In the first place, the model uses DEMATEL to verify the relationship and degree of influence between the primary indexes. In the second place, the ANP approach with Super Decisions software to determine the weights of the indexes at each level. Lastly, evaluating and scoring vegetable green logistics in Lanling County based on FCE.Results and discussionThe results of the study show that there is an interaction relationship between the primary evaluation indexes, and its evaluation score is low, the vegetable logistics in Lanling County has not reached the degree of greening. Accordingly, the evaluation results obtained by the DEMATEL-ANP-FCE model in this work are in line with the actual situation of vegetable green logistics in Lanling County, which verifies that the model has good applicability. Moreover, managerial contributions for promoting the development of vegetable green logistics in Lanling County are put forward in response to the evaluation situation. Expecting to enhance the greening level of vegetable logistical development and advance agricultural sustainability. Finally, all four questions raised in this paper are well addressed. This study also provides a new perspective and evaluation model for future related research.

Multicriteria analysis of the components of ecological paving stones made from plastic and glass waste, and granular reinforcements

The use of plastic waste as a resource in construction applications is an opportunity for environmental protection, conservation of natural resources and reduction of pollution. Unfortunately, they don't always withstand the stresses to which they are subjected, leading to subsidence and collapsing. An analysis of the causes using the Pareto curve shows that 74.47 % of the causes of this collapse are due to poorly formulated mixes and poor choice of raw materials for the composite. The compressive test carried out on the first sample of pavers studied showed a maximum compressive strength value of 4.6 MPa, which is below the standard requirements. As a result, the pavers were considered unsuitable for use on a T5 road. Through the use of the SUPERDECISION software, we were able to identify two favourable constituent materials - glass/glass waste and gravel - for the production of composite paving stones. By adding low-density plastic waste, collected, cleaned and crushed in the form of aggregates, we obtain a compressive strength of 7 MPa with gravel and 8 MPa with glass waste. These values are below the recommendations of the NF EN 1339 standard (Rc ≥ 20 MPa) for T5 traffic. The best composition for ecological paving is therefore (PET/PP/PEBD) + sand + glass (50/12.5/37.5). Analyzing these results shows that the raw materials used for ecological paving should be adapted to the loads.

Dataset for Pharmaceutical Salt Business to Improve the Welfare of Salt's Farmers

This dataset presents data on the percentage of problem priorities, solution priorities and appropriate strategy priorities for developing a pharmaceutical salt business using the Analytic Network Process (ANP). This data consists of data on problems, solutions and strategies. Problem data includes production problems, supporting problems, market problems and stakeholder problems. Solution data includes fundamental solutions, technical solutions, macro strategic solutions and roadmap solutions. Meanwhile, strategy data includes a strategy for preparing a grand design for a community salt agribusiness pattern, a strategy for BUMN and salt processing companies to collaborate with salt farmer cooperatives, a strategy to increase human resource development, and a strategy for fulfilling permits to support the production of packaged salt. Numerical data was obtained from Forum Group Discussion with five experts, five practitioners and five regulators using a priority scale. Cluster priority analysis using Super Decision software version 2.10.

Halal Tourism Destination Development Strategy Based on Jambi Local Wisdom Seberang City as a Pioneer of Jambi City Halal Tourism Destinations

This study aims to analyze problems and formulate and strategize in the development of halal tourism destinations rooted in local wisdom in Jambi Seberang City. The research method used is a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches. The specific methodology applied is the Analytic Network Process (ANP), which is implemented through Super Decision software. ANP was chosen for its ability to set priorities in the context of decision making. The results obtained from this study show that the main issue faced is related to government participation. The priority strategies identified include the formation of synergies between various interested parties, increasing government commitment in supporting the development of halal tourism, developing a structured halal tourism development concept, and improving the quality of human resources. Through this research, it is expected to be a source and basis for planning the development of halal tourism in Jamb, especially in Jambi Kota Seberang.

VFT and AHP Approach to Selecting the Best Option in Decision-Making at PLN: A Case Study in the Cawang-Gandul Project

PLN EIC is one of PLN’s business units and is responsible for the development of electrical infrastructure in the working area of DKI Jakarta, Banten Province, and its surroundings. One of the national strategic projects included in the PLN is the 500 kV Cawang Baru II/Cililitan-Gandul transmission line project, with a COD target of 2026. The delay in the completion of this project and the non-fulfillment of stakeholders’ expectations will certainly have a broad impact on the operation of the electricity system, the impact on PLN’s financial performance, the social impact, the environmental impact, as well as the direct impact on the performance and image of PLN EIC. This research aims to assist management in making decisions related to the best transmission line design for the Cawang-Gandul project so that project completion can be on time and in accordance with stakeholder expectations. In this research, several methodological approaches were used to gain a broader and more complete understanding. The Problem Tree Analysis approach, combined with brainstorming and structured interview techniques, was used to explore business issues. Two complementary approaches, namely Value-Focused Thinking (VFT) and the Stakeholder Analysis method, are used to formulate stakeholder expectations and will become guidelines for formulating alternative strategies. Using a structured interview technique, 4 alternative strategies were formulated in the form of the transmission line design, namely (1) Compact Lattice Tower, (2) Underground Cable, (3) Combine Design (Compact Lattice Tower + Underground Cable), and (4) Steel Pole Tower. The next methodological approach uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the best transmission line design, which is then analyzed using AHP Super Decision software. The results of this research show that the Underground Cable design is the best design alternative that can be implemented in the Cawang-Gandul project with several advantages, namely minimal social conflict, easy implementation, and a relatively faster work process. The final stage of research is to make an implementation plan.

Strategi Usaha Mikro Pengolahan Salak dalam Meningkatkan Perekonomian Desa Wedi Kecamatan Kapas Kabupaten Bojonegoro

The research focuses on the growth of snake fruit processing micro-businesses in Wedi Village, Kapas District, Bojonegoro Regency, aiming to develop sustainable strategies for their development. The success of these enterprises hinges on a comprehensive understanding of internal and external factors. The study analyzes the pivotal factors influencing the growth of salak processing micro-enterprises. It prioritizes development strategies, particularly emphasizing the interplay between product quality (an internal factor) and market demand (an external factor). Utilizing the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method via Super Decision Software, the research assesses development factors comprehensively. The pairwise comparison analysis highlights the priority of internal and external factors in influencing the growth of snake fruit processing micro-enterprises. The findings underscore the significant impact of external factors, exceptionally high market demand, which scored 0.52276, indicating its crucial role in driving microenterprise growth. Meanwhile, product quality, though scoring lower at 0.09885, remains a strategic focus for long-term sustainability. The WT strategy, involving strategic raw material procurement and price adjustments, emerged as the most effective alternative strategy with a score of 0.35614. This underscores companies' need to optimize procurement processes and adapt pricing strategies to capitalize on market demand fluctuations. The research contributes valuable insights into the dynamics of salak processing micro-enterprises at the local level. The formulated strategy guides micro-businesses, local governments, and research institutions to foster sectoral growth. By considering both internal and external factors, the strategy aims to impact regional economic development positively and sustainably. In conclusion, the research highlights the critical role of understanding internal and external dynamics in fostering the growth of snake fruit processing micro-enterprises. The strategy prioritizes leveraging market demand while maintaining product quality for sustained growth and economic development in the region.

Private Islamic Hospital Service Management Strategy Model in Pekanbaru Based on Accreditation with an Analytic Network Process Approach

There are many factors that are the burden and responsibility of Islamic Hospital Practitioners, experts and regulators in resolving sharia service and accreditation problems and prioritizing effective solutions for Islamic Hospitals. From problems (1)Sharia services that focus on Customer Oriented, Transparency, Healthy Competition and Justice. (2)Patient problems, namely no sharia consultations, unsatisfactory services received, long queues, lack of services for disabled patients (3)Accreditation problems that focus on low classification and accreditation, poor maintenance, unsophisticated information systems and a poor hospital environment. not properly maintained (4)Ethical problems and Islamic hospital Business Management Concepts trigger problems. Planning for future hospital performance is not fulfilled, experts and employees are less professional, coordination of hospital staff is ineffective and does not have a Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS). This thought is the research problem, how to use the ANP method to find a solution that must be solved in this problem, assisted by Super Decision software. The results of this research are Solution Priorities (1) Sharia services, namely focusing on the main priority of Justice, Customer Oriented (2) Solutions for patients with the same priority, namely Sharia consultations, services received that satisfy patients. (3) Accreditation solutions in the order that the hospital environment is well maintained and goes green, maintenance is improved, quality management is improved (4) Islamic hospital Ethics Solutions and Business Concepts with future planning sequences fulfilled and professional employee experts selected, effective staff coordination and forming a DPS. The strategic priorities being developed are the implementation of superior and complete sharia services.

Analysis Of The Priority Handling Of Enveromental Drainage Construction Project At Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Dan Penataan Ruang Banjarbaru City

Flood is one of the main problems of big cities in Indonesia, including Banjarbaru City. This is often caused by the not supportive existing drainage capacity when compared to the increasing of crowded urban conditions and reduced green open space. Handling of drainage including rehabilitation is necessary so that drainage can function properly as expected. On the other hand the Banjarbaru City Government has a limited budget each year that can be disbursed for drainage handling. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze criteria and subcriteria that are important in determining the priority of drainage handling. The ANP (Analytic Network Process) method is analyzed using the criteria in the Minister of Public Works regulation number 12/PRT/M/2014 tentang Penyelenggaraan Sistem Drainase Perkotaan to determine priorities for handling environmental drainage with important criteria, namely aspects of inundation, economic loss, social disruption and government facilities, loss of disturbance. transportation, loss to residential areas, and loss of personal property rights. Based on these 6 criteria, priorities for handling environmental drainage in Banjarbaru City are determined. Furthermore, an analysis is carried out to evaluate the priority of the choices that occur. This study suggests to decision makers that ANP can be used to analyze drainage management priorities in Banjarbaru City. This research focuses on variables consisting of criteria or considerations which form the background for priorities in handling the environmental drainage system in Banjarbaru City. The primary data results obtained from the field survey were followed by analysis using the ANP method with data tabulation calculations and assisted by Super Decisions software to determine the priority scale for handling environmental drainage in Banjarbaru City. The treatment priority scale in the Super Decisions software, the data of which is based on field survey results and data tabulation calculations, found that there are several locations that have a large priority scale but treatment has not been carried out due to several factors that are not contained in Minister of Public Works Regulation 12/PRT/M/2014 concerning Implementation of Urban Drainage Systems.

The Application of Network Analysis for Green R&D Indicators (Case Study of the Home Appliance Industry)

The objective of the present study is to develop a model for green research and development (R&D) in the path towards sustainable development within the home appliance industry. This research is applied in nature and descriptive-survey in terms of data collection method. Initially, through a literature review, 30 factors were identified as indicators for green development and formulation and were categorized into five dimensions: green management, product performance and stakeholders, internal environment management, green innovation, and energy and resource consumption management. To screen and validate the factors extracted from the literature, the fuzzy Delphi method was used by surveying 15 selected experts through purposive sampling, which led to the identification of 25 components across the five dimensions. Subsequently, the importance of each criterion and sub-criterion was determined based on the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method, using a pairwise comparison questionnaire with Super Decisions software. The reliability of the tool was confirmed with a consistency ratio below 0.1. Based on the findings, green management, with a weight of (0.261), has the highest priority among the other criteria. Similarly, the product performance and stakeholders criterion (0.220) ranks second, internal environment management (0.202) ranks third, green innovation with a weight of (0.191) ranks fourth, and energy and resource consumption management with a weight of (0.124) ranks fifth. According to this ranking, it can be concluded that factors related to green management hold the greatest importance in green R&D indicators.

Halal human capital development strategy in Madura: ANP-SWOT approach

Sharia economic growth in Indonesia has increased significantly, at present, the Indonesian human capital index remain relatively low. Hence, research on human capital is necessary to close the gap. This research is aimed to provide a significant strategy for human capital development in the halal industry, providing as a crucial guideline for policymakers involved in the economic development of Shariah in Indonesia. The research approach applied is qualitative, using the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method through the SWOT network framework (Strength-Weakness-Opportunity-Threat). The study investigates several types of strategies and steps that focus on the interrelationships and feedback of elements within clusters using both qualitative and quantitative methods. This approach collects the opinions of professionals with deep expertise in the topic. The data was collected from 15 respondents who are specialists in academia, regulation, and practice, conducting study on Madura Island. The experts' opinions were assessed using Super Decisions software and Microsoft Excel to determine priority values, which were further examined in the priority strategy. The research identifies the SO (Strength Opportunity) strategy for enhancing halal human capital development in three stages. Short-term goals include enhancing the infrastructure of the halal ecosystem. Medium-term objectives involve improving education quality, optimizing synergies, establishing a halal management laboratory, and enhancing promotion and socialization. Long-term strategies focus on strengthening capacity building, improving halal training programs, and establishing expert certification facilities.

The application of Analytic Network Process (ANP) in selecting the intersection investment between Tran Hung Dao – 3 Thang 2 – Mau Than in Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City

The analysis and evaluation of construction investment options in Vietnam is still qualitative and subjective, so investment decisions are not truly rational. This study proposes the Analytical Network Process (ANP) method applied to build evaluation models and then selecting criteria to quantify and digitize with specialized software, to analyze and make appropriate decisions. This research was conducted through a survey of 74 construction experts and engineers undertaking different roles in the project (state management agencies, investors, consultants, contractors, etc.). As a result, 29 variables (divided into 06 groups of factors), were established and analysed using Superdecision software. The study shows that option 01 (intersection renovation and expansion) has the highest score; and was proposed to invest and implement in practice.

Characteristics and Optimization of University English Translation from a Cross-cultural Perspective-Based on Functional Translation Theory

Abstract Drawing on the theoretical framework of functional translation, this study presents a multifaceted exploration of university English translation through functional, constructive, evolutionary, and cultural lenses. Positioned within a cross-cultural context, the paper categorizes university English translation into three primary attributes: the frontier nature of translation, linguistic and cultural divergences, and the professionalism required in translation activities. Utilizing Super Decision software, these attributes serve as input variables to construct a Network Hierarchical Analysis model. This model is further integrated with the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) recursive structure to assess the influence of various factors on translation quality. The study employs a multidimensional approach to dissect the impact of cultural and professional variances on the quality of university English translation. The results reveal that 54 out of 65 cultural dimensions (83.08%) significantly affect translation quality. In the realm of professional characteristics, four out of six dimensions (66.67%) are found to have a considerable influence on translation quality. Based on these comprehensive findings, the paper proposes four strategic optimizations aimed at enhancing the quality of university English translation, thereby offering valuable insights and practical recommendations for the field.

Adapting Agriculture: Policy Implications of the Rise of Resistant Seeds in Farmers' Climate Change Strategy

This paper explores farmers' perceptions of climate change and their preferred adaptive and mitigatory strategies within Slovakia's Nitra region, aiming to devise recommendations for climate change-oriented agricultural policies. Our methodology incorporates an analysis of perspectives gathered from a regional survey using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and SuperDecisions software, complemented by a risk-attitude assessment using the modified Multiple Price Lists (MPL) method. A subsequent heterogeneity analysis correlates these preferences with respondents' socio-economic status and risk attitudes. Our findings underscore the use of improved, resilient seeds as a favored adaptation measure and reveal a correlation between farmers' socio-economic attributes and their climate change strategy preferences. Based on this, we propose inclusive, micro-level agricultural policies that prioritize the unique climatic needs of the Nitra region and strongly consider the priority viewpoints of farmers within this region, aiming to promote sustainable agriculture under changing climatic conditions.

Strategy For Increasing Financial Accountability In Wakaf Management In Islamic Religious Organizations In North Sumatera

Accountability is a process by which an institution holds itself responsible for what it does. Accountability is not solely related to financial reporting and programs made, but also related to public legitimacy. This study aims to determine the priority of problems and solutions as well as to offer appropriate strategies for increasing financial accountability in Islamic Religious organizations in North Sumatra. This type of research uses the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method approach and the help of Super Decision software. The number of respondents in this study amounted to 11 people consisting of three academics, four regulators, and four practitioners. The results showed that according to the respondents, the priority of financial accountability issues was that financial transparency was still low, the second priority was that Nazir had not been able to prepare reports according to standards and the third priority was that the use of reporting information systems was still low. The priority solution is training in preparing financial reports for Nazir, the second priority solution is an audit and the third priority is supervision of the implementation of information systems. According to all respondents, the strategic priority is synergy between regulators, Nazirs, and mass organizations. Furthermore, the second priority is the waqf management training strategy for Nazirs. The last priority is the strategy for making a waqf development master plan.
