Analisis Pengaruh Pembinaan Dan Keteladanan Guru Sekolah Minggu Berdasarkan Yakobus 3:1-12 Terhadap Pertumbuhan Rohani Anak-Anak Di Gereja-Gereja Bandar Lampung

This research is motivated by various factors that have been limited within the boundaries of the problem, namely it was found that not all Sunday School Teachers carry out good training practices, it was observed that not all Sunday School Teachers were role models and it was found that not all Sunday School Children experienced optimal spiritual growth. The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of Sunday School teachers' guidance and exemplary behavior based on James 3:1-12 on the spiritual growth of Sunday School children in churches in the Bandar Lampung area. The method used by the researcher in data collection efforts is quantitative, where questionnaires are the primary method, supported by literature review and observation methods. The population in this study consists of 80 Sunday School teachers in churches in the Bandar Lampung area. Based on the results of the multiple regression test between the three variables, it is known that there is an influence of Sunday School teachers' guidance and exemplary behavior based on James 3:1-12 (X1, X2) on the spiritual growth of Sunday School children in churches in the Bandar Lampung area (Y) with an R Square of 0.789 or 78.9%, which falls into the high category. If the influence of variable X on Y with an R Square of 78.9%, then there are still 21.1% other influencing factors. Thus, the results of the hypothesis proposed by the researcher, "it is suspected that there is an influence of Sunday School teachers' guidance and exemplary behavior based on James 3:1-12 collectively on the spiritual growth of Sunday School children in churches in the Bandar Lampung area," have been proven and accepted.

Learning Strategies Of Sunday School Teachers In Installing The Character Of Discipline

Sunday School means traditional church To train children in Biblical truth. However, Sunday Schools, and more broadly, children's ministry programs, are undergoing a change in identity. The aim of this research is to describe Sunday school teachers' strategies in instilling disciplined character in GBI Bassura Sunday School children. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review approach, which means through a study of various references. The research results show that Sunday School teachers should develop learning strategies that contain a disciplinary character. Possible strategies include: 1) Developing a learning curriculum based on discipline education, 2) Conducting regular meetings between parents and Sunday School children, 3) Determining punishments and rewards, 4) Carrying out group coaching, 5) Implementing habituation methods. In conclusion, by consistently implementing effective strategies, the Sunday Teachers' School will give birth to a generation of Christians who have disciplined character in accordance with Christian values.

Learning Readiness of Gki Classic Waibumoi Sunday School Children Assessed In Physical And Psychological Conditions

The purpose of this study is to elaborate on the development of readiness to learn among Sunday school children in the GKI Klasis Waibu Moi, viewed from both physical and psychological dimensions. Data for this study were obtained through observation and interviews. Observation activities were conducted at GKI Diaspora Doyo Baru, GKI Yo Anibi, GKI Mahanai, and GKI Lahe Roi. Meanwhile, interview activities were conducted with representatives of Sunday school children, parents, and Sunday school teachers. The interview data collected were then subjected to reduction, classification, and analysis processes. The results of the study indicate that the readiness to learn among Sunday school children in GKI Klasisi Waibu, viewed from two dimensions, namely physical and psychological dimensions. Spiritual education for children at the Beth-El Tabernacle Church in Ngaliyan, Semarang aims to shape Christ-like character in them, encouraging children to know and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Children are taught to understand and practice God's Word in their daily lives, grow in faith, and participate in church services. To support this goal, the PkM team conducted community service activities during the odd semester of 2023/2024 at GBT Ngaliyan, Semarang. This activity, titled "Sunday School Children's Spiritual Education," employed creative and innovative teaching methods, such as Bible stories with props and puppet shows, to create an engaging and enjoyable Sunday school environment. The results of the PkM activities showed high enthusiasm from the children, which helped build their spirituality. The church felt supported and motivated to continue and develop similar activities in the future.

The aim of this research is to determine the application of the cooperative learning model to improve the ethics of Sunday school children at GPdI Kavling Seroja Batam. This research is research in the form of field research or field research is a type of research. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The data in this research comes from primary and secondary data. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the community at the PkM location. The research results obtained in implementing cooperative learning to improve the ethics of Sunday school children at GPdI Kavling Seroja Batam mean that a Sunday school teacher can make the ethics of Sunday school children better and learning more active. Using creative learning models is one way that can be done. implemented so that learning becomes more active and will influence the learning outcomes of Sunday school children. This success is determined by other interesting activities that can support the improvement of Sunday school children's soft skills. The inhibiting factor in efforts to maximize this is the lack of understanding of parents regarding this matter, the school environment and the home environment of Sunday school children.

Pelatihan Bahasa Inggris “Tenses” Bagi Siswa Sekolah Minggu HKBP Getsemane Medan Labuhan

Mastery of English is a must for everyone around the world. Likewise in Indonesia, mastering English will provide great benefits for future studies and careers. However, students still experience obstacles in learning and practicing English either in the school environment or in the community because English is a foreign language for the Indonesian people, which is not used as an official or everyday language. Therefore, the PKM activities of the Faculty of Languages ​​and Arts, HKBP Nommensen University try to provide solutions to students and the community to improve their ability to master English. By focusing on English 'tenses' training for Sunday school students at the HKBP Getsemane church, Martubung Medan. The training participants were 20 elementary and middle school students who were Sunday school children and church teenagers. The training lasted for two weeks with three meetings each week, starting from 16-28 October 2023. After the training was carried out, the results of the training in the form of trainee test scores showed significant progress in the trainee's ability to understand and practice English tenses, both written and verbal. From the observations it was also found that the training participants were very enthusiastic and interested in learning English using the methods used in class.

Peran Hamba Tuhan Dalam Meningkatkan Pertumbuhan Iman Jemaat Di Gksi Elohim Desa Tumbang Koling Kalimantan Tengah

This community service is carried out at GKSI Elohim Tumbang Koling Village, which is located in Tumbang Koling Village, Central Kalimantan. The methods used are observation, investigation and study. The implementation of the activity aims to form an understanding of faith in God and at the same time guide the spirituality of the congregation, teenagers and Sunday school children of the Tumbang Koling Village congregation, how important worship fellowship is. The PKM implementation was motivated by the GKSI Elohim congregation not caring enough about worship, this can be seen in the small number of congregations who attend every Sunday service, and often when the service is in progress only a few people participate. In fact, the GKSI Elohim congregation consists of approximately thirty people, members of the congregation and young people. Referring to this problem, this service is therefore present as an alternative form of solving this problem. The ideas offered are: 1) supporting and motivating each other in love. 2). Be diligent and persistent in worship, 3) advise each other to be more active in worship; the solution offered in the book of Hebrews 10:24-25. Pelayanan PAK di Gereja Bagi Anak Sekolah Minggu

The study aims to find out what the ideal church service is like for Sunday school children. The research method used is the study of libraries, interview approaches and observation of the ministry of several churches for Sunday schoolchildren. Through a number of literacy, observation and interviews with a number of Sunday school teachers, it is known that the problem of ministry to Sunday school largely arises from the church itself where many weaknesses lie in the Pastor and Assembly who are still less serious about improving the ministry of PAK to children in the church. Some suggestions to address the problem are: 1). Priests should facilitate teaching, provide week school curriculum and actively engage in serving Sunday school worship. 2). The Church needs to include a special budget for the increase in Sunday School Teacher’s HR. 3). The Church needs to periodically evaluate the Sunday school service. 4). The Church needs to work on service facilities ranging from child-friendly specialty spaces. 5). The Church needs to engage members of the congregation who have pedagogic and theological competencies to support Sunday school service. 6). Even in limitations, Sunday school teachers need to update their knowledge and skills in varying the teaching methods of week schoolchildren.

Children's Theology: Learning Media for Sunday School Children Using Book Creator in Indonesia

This research wants to develop learning media for Sunday school children who seem conventional towards digital by using Book Creator. This development arose due to the need to keep up with the times, create child-friendly churches, and maintain the quality of teaching to Sunday school children. However, churches tend to be lacking in preparing the quality of Sunday school learning media. The author observes that these problems can be overcome by developing learning media that suit the needs of Sunday school children. By paying attention to the needs of Sunday school children inseparable from the principles of theology in it, book creators are very appropriate in assisting educators to prepare quality learning. The hypothesis proposed is the basis of children's theology on Sunday school teaching materials and developing book creator-based Sunday school children's learning media so that they can produce ready-to-use digital products. The results show that teaching materials tend to be good theologically, and teaching materials need to be developed into book creators, so that educators can improve competence and students can understand God's Word through the use of technology. In the development stage, product validation results based on material, media, and language experts showed an average of 87.6% with the category "very feasible". The methodology used is Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) using qualitative and quantitative research in each specified stage.

The problem that will be discussed is how the art of karugut culture can be used as a medium for teaching Sunday school children and conveying the values ​​of the message of Bible stories by making karugut art as one of the media that can be used. The problem, according to the author's observations, especially at the Fellowship Protestant Church (GPP) Parhorboan Resort Tapanuli Utara II, is that school teachers are still lacking in using teaching methods that can create interaction between teachers and children, thus having an impact on children's interest in participating in Sunday school worship. The research method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The research implementation uses procedures that produce descriptive data in the form of written and spoken words from people whose behavior is observed through interviews or observations using a qualitative approach. This research aims to find out how to increase the interest of Sunday school children aged 9-12 years in attending Sunday services at the Fellowship Protestant Church (GPP) Parhorboan Resort Tapanuli Utara II through the use of audio-visual media. The results of this research show that Sunday school children receiving teaching delivered by Sunday school teachers using audio-visual media can increase Sunday school children's interest in attending worship.

PENGARUH KEPEDULIAN ORANG TUA TERHADAP MINAT BERIBADAH ANAK KELAS EMPAT SAMPAI ENAM SEKOLAH DASAR DI SEKOLAH MINGGU GEREJA BETHEL INDONESIA TABGHA BATAM CENTER

Sunday school is one of the teaching and guiding methods for children to learn about Christ through various creative activities that can enhance their interest in attending worship every Sunday. Parents play a significant role in nurturing their children's spiritual growth. The research conducted using quantitative methods shows that the level of Parental Concern falls within the low to moderate category, with a significance level of α 0.05. Specifically, it falls within the range of 57.17 – 60.89, indicating a low to moderate level. Therefore, the level of parental concern for Sunday school children at the Bethel Indonesia Tabgha Batam Center is still relatively low and needs improvement. The percentage of the influence of parental concern (X) on children's interest in attending Sunday school (Y) is 63.5%. The remaining 36.5% is influenced by other variables not included in this research model. The constant is 22.673, meaning that if parental concern (X) is 0, the interest of children in attending Sunday school at the Bethel Indonesia Tabgha Batam Center is 22.673 units. The regression coefficient for parental concern (X) is 0.709, indicating that increasing parental concern by one unit will lead to a 0.709-unit increase in children's interest in attending Sunday school (Y). Based on the research findings, the researcher suggests several programs to improve parental concern towards children's interest in attending Sunday school at the Bethel Indonesia Tabgha Batam Center, hoping that these proposed programs will serve as solutions for enhancing parental concern.

The spiritual crisis among Sunday school children has become a serious concern in the context of Christian religious education. This article examines the important role played by Christian religious education teachers in overcoming this crisis. In a modern context full of challenges, children often experience spiritual isolation, loss of religious values, and difficulty implementing Christian principles in everyday life. Christian religious education teachers have a responsibility to provide guidance and inspiration to these children. This article examines strategies and methods Christian religious education teachers can use to help Sunday school children overcome spiritual crises. Some of the strategies described include the use of interesting Bible stories, interactive and creative teaching, building empathetic relationships with students, and encouraging reflection and application of Christian values in everyday life. Christian religious education teachers must also be able to tactfully face children's questions and doubts, and develop a deep understanding of children's spiritual and developmental needs.
 Through their role, Christian religious education teachers can be role models and sources of inspiration for Sunday school children in strengthening their faith and dealing with spiritual crises. In carrying out their duties, teachers must have a strong commitment to the mission of Christian religious education and pay attention to the social and cultural changes that affect children's lives. This article aims to inform and motivate Christian religious education teachers in carrying out their roles more effectively and relevantly amidst the spiritual crisis of Sunday school children. Through collaborative efforts between the church, parents and the Christian community, it is hoped that Sunday school children can obtain a solid foundation of faith and be able to overcome the spiritual challenges they face in their lives.

PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS BAGI KELOMPOK PELAYANAN ANAK DAN REMAJA JEMAAT IMANUEL BUHUN, DESA LETBAUN, KECAMATAN SEMAU – KABUPATEN KUPANG

Realizing the importance of English in this modern era, the community service team has developed a learning program in a practical and interesting way that in learning English. Working with religious institutions was one of the methods to support government programs. The program was held in Letbaun Village, Semau District in Kupang Regency. The problem for most Sunday school children in this area was their lack of interest in learning English and limited access to telecommunication networks, so they were more guided by manual learning resources or textbooks. The underlying thing was the lack of vocabulary and grammar in English. The team conducted practical, creative, and fun English learning materials and videos to attract interest in learning English. The book was equipped with pictures and vocabulary relating to general English materials such as greetings, self-introduction, parts of the body, and names of days and months, also provided some Bible-themed materials (God’s creation, the ten plagues in Egypt, the Lord's Prayer in English, the name of the books in English). The book was provided with the aims, directions for Sunday School Teachers, and exercises. There were still several things that have not been achieved such as evaluation of learning outcomes. EKSISTENSI GURU SEKOLAH MINGGU DALAM MENINGKATKAN DIGITAL QUOTIENT KEPADA ANAK

The development of human life today has been significantly influenced by the rapid advancement of technology. Behind the convenience and advancement of technology, it is not uncommon to have an unfavorable impact on its users. Nowadays, not a few children and teenagers are trapped in gadget abuse, for example; visiting pornographic sites and forgetting time to study because of addiction to online games. These events often result in the degradation of the child's character and spirituality. In addition, other factors that make children less controlled in using gadgets are due to the presence of some parents who do not provide guidance to children regarding the use of gadgets properly and regularly. The purpose of this writing is to explain the existence of Sunday school teachers in providing guidance and direction to increase Sunday school children's understanding of the use of gadgets by providing parenting guidance, teaching slowly the benefits of gadgets, utilizing the parental control features available on gadgets and determining sanctions for children if they violate the boundaries that have been given. The method used in writing this article is a qualitative method and a literature research approach. The results received in this study are that the more existence of Sunday school teachers in increasing the digital quotient for children, the more responsible Sunday school children will be for the gadgets they have.

PERANCANGAN BUKU POP UP KISAH PENCIPTAAN LANGIT DAN BUMI UNTUK ANAK SEKOLAH MINGGU (Studi kasus: GPdI Ajibarang)

Sunday school is a place for children to listen to and learn about God's Word every Sunday. Sunday school also teaches good things through stories in the Bible which are delivered in light language so that Sunday school children can understand. However, based on the experience of the designer who is a Sunday school teacher at the church where the designer lives, namely GPdI Ajibarang, he still uses a manual way of teaching, namely by telling stories and using whiteboard media. The purpose of this design is to make a book with the title Pop Up Book The Story of the Creation of Heaven and Earth for Sunday School Children. The book will present a pop up view of the story of the creation of the heavens and the earth. This design is based on mixed data collection using the SWOT analysis method, using data collection methods through observation, literature study and questionnaires. Questionnaires were distributed to Sunday school children to get book designs that the children liked. Thus, the Story of the Creation of Heaven and Earth becomes interesting for children because it is made with a pop up type book.
