This research aims to analyze the importance of training and career development on employee performance in the organization. Training and career development are two very important components in the human resource development (HR) strategy, which not only serves to increase employee knowledge and skills but also as a means of motivating them to achieve optimal performance. This study uses a literature study method to examine various previous research relevant to this topic. The research results show that effective training can make a significant contribution to improving employee performance, while structured career development can increase employee motivation and commitment, and reduce turnover. Furthermore, there is a significant relationship between training and career development, with good training often laying the foundation for successful career development, ultimately improving overall employee performance. This research provides important insights for companies in designing HR development strategies that are more effective and oriented towards improving employee performance.
