Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Terhadap Hasil Belajar dalam Sub Materi Media Sosial di Kelas VII pada SMP Negeri 2 Darma

The low learning outcomes of Information Engineering (ICT) students in grade VII of SMP Negeri 2 Darma are caused by several factors, including students who are less motivated to learn ICT and also the factor of teachers who still use conventional methods or lecture methods so that in the teaching and learning process students tend to be passive. This study aims to find out whether there is an influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on learning outcomes in social media sub-material in grade VII at SMP Negeri 2 Darma. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with an experimental research design type. The population in this study is 35 students with a sample of grade VII of SMP Negeri 2 Darma. The data collection technique uses a test. Data analysis using t-test. The results of the study showed that the pretest results had a mean of 46.42 and a posttest result of 68.71. Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning media has an influence on the learning outcomes of information technology (ICT) social media sub-materials. This is shown from the results of data analysis that the value of, t count = 10.911 > t table = 2.650, so that the hypothesis proposed in the study is accepted, so that there is an influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on learning outcomes in social media sub-material in grade VII at SMP Negeri 2 Darma

Peningkatkan Kemandirian Belajar Siswa Dalam Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katoik Dan Budi Pekerti Dengan Model Problem Based Learning Materi Manusia Sebagai Citra Allah Fase D Kelas VII Smp Setya Budi Nanga Pinoh

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade VII students of SMP Setya Budi Nanga Pinoh for the 2024/2025 school year in the subject of Catholic Religious Education through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles with 2 meetings each cycle. Each cycle consists of several stages, namely planning, implementation of actions, observation and reflection. The subject matter discussed was "I am the Unique Image of Allah". The subjects in this study are grade VII students of SMP Setya Budi Nanga Pinoh for the 2024/2025 school year consisting of 28 students. The data collection technique is in the form of test results carried out at the end of cycle I and cycle II, observation results during learning in cycle I and cycle II. The results of the study show that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of grade VII students of SMP Setya Budi Nanga Pinoh starting from cycle I and cycle II. In the first cycle, the percentage of student learning completeness was 80%, and in the second cycle, the percentage of completeness reached 100%. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Catholic Religious Education students in grade VII of SMP Setya Budi Nanga Pinoh.

Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Agama Katolik dan Budi Pekerti dengan Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) Berbantuan Video Animasi Materi Manusia sebagai Citra Allah Fase D Kelas VII di SMP Negeri 6 Sanggau

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade VII students on Human material as the Image of Allah through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model at SMP Negeri 6 Sanggau which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects in this observation are 37 students in grade VII of SMP Negeri 6 Sanggau. Data collection techniques are carried out through tests (formative tests) and non-tests (observation). The results of the research on the affective aspect of students in cycle I showed an average percentage of 70% increased by 8% to 78% in cycle II. In the first cycle, the percentage of learning outcomes for students in the advanced category was 1%, capable 3%, feasible 24% and newly developed 9%. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, there was an increase in the advanced category of 8%, capable 12%, decent 17% and just developed 0%. So, it can be concluded that learning Catholic Religious Education and Ethics with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method is proven to improve student learning outcomes. In addition, this learning model can also increase students' confidence, especially in developing communication skills in groups and with educators.

Upaya Peningkatan Motivasi dan Prestasi Belajar Peserta Didik melalui Penerapan Problem Based Learning dalam Proses Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik pada Peserta Didik Kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Ulunoyo

Students' motivation and learning achievement are one of the indicators of the success or failure of the implementation of the learning process in schools. To get maximum motivation and learning achievement of students, various efforts are made such as improving the curriculum which gives rise to various new learning models in the learning process such as Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning models, Inquri, Project Based Learning and so on. This study aims to determine the influence of the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model on increasing student motivation and learning achievement. This study uses a quantitative approach. The subject of this study is 12 students in grade VII of SMP Negeri 4 Ulunoyo who are Catholic. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 4 Ulunoyo, Ulunoyo District, South Nias Regency, North Sumatra Province. The implementation of this research was carried out in two cycles with different learning materials. The results of this study show that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model in the learning process of Catholic Religious Education subjects both in the implementation of cycle I and cycle II can increase the motivation and learning achievement of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Ulunoyo with the percentage in each cycle being cycle I of 66.65% and cycle II of 90, 62%.

Parents’ Involvement during Science Online Learning of Junior High School Students and Their Learning Outcome

The aim of this quantitative study was to determine the relationship between parents’ involvement during science online learning of Junior High School students and their learning outcome. Researchers constructed a questionnaire about parents’ involvement. The questionnaire was distributed to 56 VII grade students at Adventist Junior High School in Airmadidi. Students’ learning outcome in Science Subject was collected from the subject teacher. This study found out that students often experienced their parents’ involvement by guiding them in online learning, with the Mean Score is 3.64. The level of students’ learning outcome in Science Subject was good, since the Mean Score is 85.75. This study also proved that there is a significant relationship between parents’ involvement during online learning and students’ learning outcome in Science Subject with p = .009. This means that the null hypothesis which stated there was no significant relationship between parents’ involvement during online learning of Junior High School students and their learning outcome is rejected

Relationship Between Diet Patterns and Anemia in Female Adolescents

Background: In the process of becoming a mother, a young woman must prepare herself, especially in meeting nutritional needs to prevent anemia, in order to ensure a quality next generation of the nation. Anemia can cause fatigue, decreased productivity, and disorders in cognitive and motor development in children. This study aims to determine the relationship between diet and the incidence of anemia in young women. Methods: The research design used was cross-sectional to examine the relationship between diet and anemia status. The population in this study were 127 students of grade VII of SMP Negeri 5 Ponorogo, with samples taken using a total sampling of 127 students. The independent variable in this study was diet, while the dependent variable was anemia. The instruments used included questionnaires and hemoglobin (Hb) level examination tools. Data collection was carried out through Hb level screening and filling out questionnaires distributed via Google Form. Data analysis used cross-tabulation and Chi-square test. Results: The results showed that 75.59% of adolescents had good diets, while 24.41% had poor diets. Anemia status showed that 79.53% did not have anemia and 20.47% had anemia. The Chi-square test showed the analysis result p = 0.017, which indicated a significant relationship between diet and the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls. Conclusion: This study shows a significant relationship between diet and the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls. Adolescents with good diets tend to have a lower risk of anemia. It is recommended that adolescent girls continue to maintain a good diet to prevent anemia, which can affect their overall health, including productivity and cognitive development.

MATHEMATICAL LITERACY ABILITY OF STUDENTS FROM A COGNITIVE STYLE PERSPECTIVE ON RATIONAL NUMBERS

This study aims to describe mathematical literacy skills reviewed from cognitive styles of studdents. This study is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study consist of 4 students in grade VII A SMP Negeri 1 Ganeas in the odd semester for the 2023/2024. The instruments used in this study were a mathematical literacy ability test, the Group Embedded Figure Test (GEFT) test to find out the type of student cognitive style, and interview guidelines. The results of this study show that students with a field independent cognitive style have better mathematical literacy abilities than field dependent ones. Field independent students met almost all levels of mathematical literacy indicators, while field dependent students only met 3 levels of mathematical literacy abilities

Dynamic Evaluation of the Merdeka Curriculum: Unveiling the Effectiveness of Science Lesson Planning, Implementation and the Response of Junior High School Students

Merdeka curriculum is an education initiative in Indonesia that gives educators the flexibility to create learning that is more in-depth and suited to the needs of learners. This curriculum focuses on strengthening character and developing essential competencies, allowing students to go deeper into concepts and develop skills that are relevant to the challenges of the times. However, there are many obstacles in its implementation, especially in science learning, so it needs to be analyzed more deeply. The purpose of the research is to describe the planning, implementation, assessment, and students' responses to the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in junior high school science subjects. The method used in this research is descriptive-quantitative. The subjects of this study were junior high school science teachers and students in grade VII in one of the private schools in the city of Bandung. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and questionnaires. Based on the data analysis above, it can be concluded that the average score of science learning planning in the independent curriculum is 3.15, so it is in the good enough category. The average score of the science learning assessment obtained is 2.5, so it can be said that teachers still do not carry out learning assessments well. The average for all aspects of learner response has a good category, namely 73.62%. Thus, it is suggested that the teacher prepare everything related to learning activities to the maximum so that maximum results can be obtained

Applying Of Jigsaw Model To Enhance Students’ Reading Comprehension

The purpose of the research was to know the Jigsaw learning model can enhance on VII grade students’ cognitive learning outcomes in reading comprehension at SMPN 1 Praya Barat. It was participant classroom action research. It was done in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Subject of the research was 32 students. Instruments used were students' test, students' and teacher’s activities used observation sheets, at the end of each cycle. The research findings show that implementation of Jigsaw learning model can improve students' cognitive competence. Percentage of students' classical achievement in cognitive competence improves time by time. In pre-cycle, the percentage is 46% (not enough), in cycle I is 50% (not enough) and in cycle II is 92% (very good). Meanwhile, percentage of students' Activity also improves. In pre-cycle, the percentage is 52% (enough), in cycle I is 64% (good) and in cycle II is 80% (very good). From the finding, it proves that the implementation of Jigsaw learning model can improve students' cognitive competence and Activity in class VII of SMPN 1 Praya Barat

Pengaruh Penerapan Model Kooperatif Tipe Teams Games Tournament Dengan Pendekatan Saintifik Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas VII MTs Fie Sabilil Muttaqien Tempurejo Desa Tempuran

The learning model is very important and has many benefits in the teaching and learning process, with the help of the learning model educators can also motivate students to be actively involved in learning and totality so as to affect student learning outcomes. Through a cooperative learning model of the team games tournament type with a scientific approach, it is hoped that it will be able to improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the cooperative learning model of the team games tournament type with a scientific approach on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VII MTs Fie Sabilil Muttaqien Tempurejo students for the 2023/2024 school year. The method in this study is a quantitative Quasi Experiment with a posttets only control group design research design. This study consists of independent variables and bound variables. The independent variable is the learning model used, namely a cooperative model of the team games tournament type with a scientific approach while the bound variable is the learning outcome. The subject of this study is grade VII students of MTs FSM Tempurejo with 23 students in the experimental class and 23 students in the control class. Data collection is carried out by means of a posttest given at the end of learning which is used to determine student learning outcomes. The results showed a significant difference with the value of t calculated = 2.134 and t table = 1.080 with a significance level of 0.05. The average score of students after being taught using a cooperative model of teamgames tournament type with a scientific approach was 80.04, while the average score of students with a direct learning model was 68.65. Thus, the application of a cooperative learning model of the team games tournament type with a scientific approach is more effective on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VII MTs students Fie Sabilil Muttaqien Tempurejo for the 2023/2024 school year.

Development of Android-based Comic Learning Media for Grade VII Science Subject in Junior High School

This developmental study aims to create an Android-based comic learning media for Grade VII students, focusing on Earth and Solar System material in science subjects. The objective is to enhance learning experiences and assess the media's feasibility. Existing learning resources often fail to meet students' needs and improve learning outcomes. Following the ADDIE model, the research includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Thirty Grade VII students from SMPN 1 Harau District participated in the study for the academic year 2023/2024. Research instruments included validation sheets, teacher and student questionnaires, and test items. The Android-based comic media was validated by experts in media, material, and language, scoring very valid in all aspects. Teacher and student feedback rated the media as very practical. In the effectiveness test, students achieved an average posttest score of 82.08, with an achievement percentage of 83.33%. The average gain test result was 0.63, indicating moderate improvement. This study demonstrates the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Android-based comic learning media in teaching Earth and Solar System material to Grade VII students.

Identification of the Difficulties of Middle School Students in Understanding the Mixed Operations of Integer

The difference between the students’ conceptions and the conceptual substance has led to a misconception regarding the mixed arithmetic operation on integers. This study aims to describe students’ understanding and to identify learning difficulties related to the mixed operation of integers. This study was a qualitative study with a case study design. The subjects of the study were the students of grade VII of a junior high school in Bandung. The data collection was done through tests, interviews, and curriculum documents. Data analysis is descriptive in general by reposing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that students have difficulties in understanding the concept of integers and their operation, especially those related to the mixed operations of integers. Based on the data analysis, it can be shown that some students recognize numbers only as a formal symbol in mathematics. Numbers for them are something abstract so they have difficulty when they present these numbers in concrete. Another result is students have difficulty in using mixed operations of integers. Learning Obstacles in the Concept of Quadrilateral Constructed Areas

This study aims to describe the learning obstacle in the concept of quadrilateral constructed areas based on the meaning obtained by students. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study design. The participants in the research were 26 students of grade VII from one of the Bungo State Junior High Schools. The data collection was carried out by testing the respondents’ abilities, interviewing them, and then conducting an in-depth analysis of the obstacles experienced by students. Based on the research conducted, it was revealed that epistemological obstacles arise because students understanding about the given problem is different from the usual context. Epistemological obstacle arise in the form of students’ limited knowledge in solving problems related to the concept of the area of a rectangular dataset. Ontogenic obstacles are related to students’ lack of concentration and readiness in the teaching and learning process. Needs Analysis for the Development of Science e-Modules Assisted with Kvisoft Flipbook Maker on the Basic of Project Based Learning on Heat and Transfer Materials to Improve Creative Thinking Ability in the Pandemic Period

Creative thinking is a high-order thinking skill that is considered to be an important skill to succeed. Creative thinking abilities include fluency in thinking, flexibility of thinking, originality of thinking, and detailed thinking (elaboration). The lack of teaching materials on the topic of heat transfer and the inability to think creatively about the topic negatively affect students. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the need for the development of an e-module using the Flipbook Maker application. The need analysis for the e-module was analyzed in line with creative thinking abilities to support online learning. This study used a qualitative method, with the research subjects being teachers and students of grade VII of Junior High School in Sukoharjo. Data collection techniques employed were questionnaires and interviews, in which the data were then analyzed descriptively. The study revealed that students’ creative thinking abilities were still low on indicators of flexibility and originality. For these reasons, project-based learning (PJBL) is a learning model that can be applied to improve students’ creative thinking abilities. In addition, teachers and students need e-modules to support the online learning process. Thus, this research can be elaborated by developing a natural science e-module assisted by a Flipbook Maker based on PJBL to improve students’ creative thinking abilities.

Reconstruction of the Story telling Method in Learning to Retell Texts of Fables to Grade VII Students of SMP Al-Hidayah Medan

Story telling is one method of speaking in the form of telling activities or telling about an event, and is delivered orally which aims to share stories with others and become a method that can be used in fabel’s learning. Retelling the fable text from read or heard is one of the basic competencies that students are expected to be able to do optimally. The purpose of this research is to reconstruct the story telling method with the help of visual aids in class VII SMP Al-Hidayah Medan. This research was conducted by analyzing (1) the conditions of the application of the story telling method (2) the impact of creative teaching aids. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in research were conducted by interviews and literature study. The results showed that the application of the method in learning to retell fable texts in grade VII of Al-Hidayah Junior High School still did not get optimal results and responses both in terms of student response, speaking skills, and the absence of media support, so there is a need for reconstruction to achieve better learning outcomes and student responses.

Learning growth and development of living things topic: An analysis of students’ interest at a private middle school in Labuhanbatu district

Students’ engagement and curiosity in learning Biology is suboptimal, hence innovative teaching methods are required to cultivate their interest and enhance their understanding of the subject matter. The research aims to identify differences in students’ interest in learning Biology across grades VII, VIII, and IX, based on gender and other indicators. The study analyzes the variations in students’ interest in the growth and development of living creatures at Bulu Tolang Adventist Private Middle School, Labuhanbatu Regency. The research population comprises all students at the school, with a research sample of 64 students using total sampling techniques. The study employed a quantitative descriptive research method and used a questionnaire of 20 statements calculated using a Likert scale. The data analysis involved descriptive description of the average percentage of students’ interest in learning. The research results revealed that: (1) Grade VII students’ interest in learning was categorized as high (65.62%), Grade VIII high (62.69%) and Grade IX medium (51.60%); (2) Students’ interest in learning based on gender showed that males were in the medium category (54.28%) in paying attention to lessons, while females were higher (65.23%); and (3) Student interest in learning based on indicators, namely feelings of enjoyment in participating in learning amounting to (59.68%), attention (58.99%), interest (57.43%), and student involvement (60.11%). The study concludes that Grade VIII students exhibit higher interest in learning Biology than their Grade VII and IX counterparts. Based on gender, female students demonstrate greater interest in learning than male students. The study also indicates that students’ feelings of joy, attention, interest, and involvement are in the medium category. Factors that influence the level of student learning include the family environment, motivation, and interest in learning. Innovative teaching methods can help support students’ higher interest in learning, including interest and feelings of enjoyment in learning.

The effect of counseling using leaflets on girl adolescent’s knowledge about blood supplementary tablets in SMP Swasta Nasional of Langkat district

Menstruation process in adolescents results in loss of iron in the blood of 12.5-15 mg / month, causing a decrease in Hb levels so it is necessary to take additional supplements, namely blood supplementary tablets. The coverage of giving blood supplementary tablets in 2018 was 76.2% but only 1.4% consumed 52 grains per year. So it is necessary to make an effort to increase the knowledge of girl about blood supplementary tablets, namely by providing counseling using leaflets. This study aims to analyze the effect of counseling using leaflets on girl's knowledge of blood supplementary tablets at SMP Swasta Nasional of Langkat Regency in 2021. The type of research was pre-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design and total sampling, namely 33 students in grade VII. The average knowledge of girl before being given counseling using leaflets was 39.09 with an SD of 5.07, and the average knowledge of girls after being given counseling using leaflets was 75.91 with an SD of 5.51. This means that there is an increase in the average knowledge before and after by 36.82 SD 0.44. The results of the Paired Simples T-test obtained value (0.00) < (0.05), meaning that counseling using leaflets was proven to significantly increase the average knowledge of girl. It is expected that school principals and teachers when providing counseling related to increasing students' knowledge are expected to use leaflets as a medium in providing information.

The Correlation Between Students’ Visual Learning Style Preference and Vocabulary Mastery at SMP NEGERI 3 Sungguminasa

The objective of this research is to find out the correlation between students' visual learning style preference and vocabulary mastery at SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa. The design of this research is descriptive quantitative research. This research has two variables, students' visual learning style preference as an independent variable and students’ vocabulary mastery as a dependent variable. The population of this research is seventh-grade students. The researcher used random sampling to take the samples, which consist of 33 students. In collecting the data, the researcher used a questionnaire and test. The questionnaire used to measure students’ visual learning style preference, which consists of 15 statements. Then, the test is used to know students’ vocabulary mastery which consists of 20 questions. In analyzing the data, the researcher used Pearson analyzed Product Moment Correlation formula. The data analyzed by using SPSS 23 program for Windows. The result of this research shows that there was a medium correlation between students’ visual learning style preference and vocabulary mastery of VII grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa because the value of rxy = 0.468 on the correlation scale table (0.40-0.599) means in medium correlation level. As the findings showed, rxy > rtable = 0.468 >0.40 So, it can be concluded that there was a significant correlation between students’ visual learning style and vocabulary mastery at SMP Negerei 3 Sungguminasa

PENGARUH MODEL KOOPERATIF GALLERY WALK TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIKA DITINJAU DARI SELF CONFIDENCE

This study examines whether the mathematical communitical skills of studens taught with the gallery walk cooperative learning model are effective, reviewed from the self-confidence of students in grade VII at SMP Negeri 1 Botupingge. This Quasi Experiment research implements the treatment by level 2 x 2 design with a two-track analysis test and a Tukey test. The results obtain that the mathematical communication skills of students with high self-confidence in gallery walk cooperative learning are 79.86, and student with low self-confidence in direct learning are only 64.29. it can also be proven through tests with a significant level of 5% and df=33 showing tcount > tcount, 3.485, α=0.05, and ttable=2.042. in conclusion, the mathematics communication skills of student with high self=confidence that are taught by gallery walk cooperative learning are higher and more effective than students with low self-confidence that are taught by direct learning.
