The effect of religious activities on the religious character of students at MA Sirnamiskin Bandung City

The rapid development of modern science and technology in the era of globalisation has opened a new era in social development, culture, and the mindset of mankind. In its development process, this era has created various challenges that must be solved, especially in the world of education. One of the challenges experienced by the world of education in the global era is the decline in moral quality or the degradation of national identity. Therefore, there is a need for moral improvement and development through the cultivation of religious character values in students at school, with the implementation of religious activities. The purpose of this study is to determine how religious activities, the level of religious character of students, and the effect of religious activities on the religious character of students at MA Sirnamiskin Bandung City. The research method used is the survey method. The population in this study were all students of MA Sirnamiskin Bandung City, totalling 318 students. The sampling technique in this study is probability sampling using simple random sampling technique. So that 48 respondents were selected as the research sample. The results of this study indicate that first, religious activities at MA Sirnamiskin Bandung City are in the good category. Second, the level of religious character of students at MA Sirnamiskin Bandung City is in the good category. Third, there is a significant influence between religious activities on the religious character of students at MA Sirnamiskin Bandung City. It can be concluded that there is an influence of religious activities on the religious character of students. The more religious activities are carried out, the more the religious character of students will increase.

Development of a Pancasila Education Teaching Module with Integration of Mattabe' Culture for Strengthening Student Character Values

This study aims to develop and analyze a Pancasila education teaching module that incorporates the local Bugis-Makassar culture for elementary schools. It using the ADDIE development model, the research findings indicate that the Pancasila education teaching module meets the established criteria. The content effectively reflects Pancasila values integrated with Mattabe' culture, aligns with the Merdeka curriculum, and expert feedback confirms that the module is relevant and ready for use in teaching. The study concludes that the Pancasila education module presents accurate and authentic content, uses simple language, and employs interactive, engaging, and contextual teaching methods. Education plays a crucial role in uncovering and developing an individual's Education plays a very significant role in uncovering and developing an individual's potential, creating people who are not only intellectually smart but also morally upright. However, the current state of education faces serious challenges related to morals and ethics, both from educators and learners. This research aims to explore the characteristics of educators and the values of character in Bait Matan Syatibiyyah. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis methods to identify the characteristics of educators and the character values contained in Bait Matan Syatibiyyah. The research findings indicate that the characteristics of educators in Bait Matan Syatibiyyah include sincerity, piety, justice, gentleness and compassion, patience, knowledge, honesty, humility, self-evaluation, being a role model, and consistency. The character values emphasized in Bait Matan Syatibiyyah are being religious, honest, tolerant, disciplined, hard-working, creative, independent, democratic, curious, having a national spirit and love for the country, appreciating achievements, being friendly and communicative, peace-loving, fond of reading, environmentally aware, socially aware, and responsible. The characteristics of educators as described in Bait Matan Syatibiyyah have strong relevance to the instillation of character values in students.

Implementation of multicultural education values in the learning process in grade V elementary school

Indonesia is a country that has a wide range of diversity in language, religion, culture, ethnicity, and customs. Diversity can trigger differences that have a negative impact, if not balanced with tolerance. Tolerance must be introduced early so that students have character values that can provide for the future. This research aims to analyze the role of teachers in applying the value of multicultural education in the learning process and the importance of instilling the value of multicultural education in students. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation until triangulation. The data analysis technique used refers to the Miles & Huberman theory, namely with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions/verification. The results of this study show that the implementation of multicultural education values can be done through habituation activities of character values in students that are arranged in the teacher's strategy.

Implementation of Ecological Literacy in the Context of Implementing Character Education in the Independent Curriculum

This research aims to analyze the implementation of ecological literacy for the implementation character education in the independent curriculum. In writing this research, the author used a qualitative approach to obtain relevant data and data sources. A qualitative design was implemented and carried out on class teachers and class 4 students. The subject of this research writing was the character values possessed by class 4 students at SD Negeri 09 East Pontianak. Data collection techniques use interviews and document analysis. The data analysis technique used is an interactive model whose elements include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing data conclusions. Thus the results of this research show that the importance of Ecological literacy for the Implementation of Character Education in the Independent Curriculum is very relevant in the process of instilling character values in students. Through the formation of love for the environment in forming character, students are able to appreciate and practice and interpret ecological literacy in students' daily lives both in the school, family and community environments. The implications of this research are that it is hoped that teachers will be able to use ecological literacy projections as an illustration of the process of instilling character values in learning both in preparing, implementing the learning process and developing curriculum in schools paying attention to students' needs and potential so that the results obtained have an impact on children's concern for the environment with character.

Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students in Class IV of SD Negeri 8 Juara Barat

This research aims to determine teachers' strategies in implementing the Merdeka curriculum in strengthening the Pancasila profile which teachers carry out in order to form character in students and the obstacles teachers face in strengthening the values of the Pancasila profile. There are phenomena or advantages of schools, namely; there is a character building program for students. The subject of this research is strengthening Pancasila values in students in the dimension of faith, devotion to God Almighty in class IV students at SD Negeri 8 Juara Barat. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. And using technical data analysis which includes observation, interviews and documentation. The results of conformity in the field concluded that the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in strengthening the profile values of Pancasila was carried out through daily refraction and spontaneous refraction or replay. The refraction carried out can help develop students' character in accordance with the dimensions of the Pancasila profile elements. However, with the strategy implemented, there are several inhibiting factors experienced by teachers, namely; The number of obese students or classes, lack of use of learning media, family environment, and lack of teacher cooperation between students' parents. So these factors become obstacles for teachers in instilling character values in students in accordance with the Pancasila profile.

SOSIALISASI PENANAMAN NILAI KARAKTER DAN PENCEGAHAN TINDAKAN BULLYING DI LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH

This community service aims to highlight the importance of character values in education to prevent bullying. Education is an important foundation in shaping an individual's character. In the context of education, there are three major sins that need to be addressed: immoral actions, violence, and discrimination or bullying. Bullying is a problem that is most commonly encountered in daily interactions, which can become a serious issue that negatively impacts students and the school environment. This socialization discusses the importance of preventing bullying through education. With the implementation of effective preventive measures, it is hoped that a safe and conducive learning environment can be created for all students. This activity is designed in the form of a socialization event lasting 2 hours and involves 30 eighth-grade students from SMP N 2 Cinangka Banten. The methods used are lectures, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The outcome of this activity is expected to instill character values in students and prevent bullying in the school environment.

This research discusses the importance of integrating Islamic education in classroom management to shape student character and improve academic achievement. Although there are barriers such as a lack of teacher training and government support, recommended solutions include providing comprehensive training, integrating Islamic education with other sciences, emphasizing individual differences, providing specific instructional instructions, applying the lesson study approach and encouraging the integration of Islamic values in all aspects of education. The research method used was a literature study and qualitative data analysis to identify challenges and solutions in the integration of Islamic education in classroom management. The results show that the integration of Islamic education in classroom management is seen to improve student character, academic achievement and the overall learning experience. By focusing on holistic student character building, values such as sincerity, simplicity, independence, tolerance and care for the environment can be instilled. The role of teachers in instilling character values in students through their example and guidance is crucial. Evaluating students' characters and overcoming obstacles in the integration of Islamic education is also an important part of achieving the broader goals of education, particularly in shaping a young generation that has strong characters and good morals.

Exploring Character Dynamics: Unveiling Dominant Values in Physics Education

Purpose of the study: This research aims to determine the character values ​​that are more dominant among teachers in students, with a focus on eliminating values ​​such as integrity, honesty, discipline, caring and responsibility in the context of learning at school. Methodology: This research uses mixed methods with quantitative and qualitative descriptive approaches. The population is all physics teachers at Darul Ulum Private Madrasah Aliyah, with a sample of three teachers selected purposively. Research instruments include questionnaires and interviews, with data analysis using partial analysis for quantitative and the Miles and Huberman model for qualitative. Main Findings: The results of the research show that of the three character values ​​studied, the one that appears more dominant in students is the discipline character value of 88.89%, where students always follow and carry out the rules set by the school, then the responsibility character value is 86%, In students there is still a high value of responsibility for what is a burden and looking after goods or whatever is their responsibility. Finally, the honest character value was 84.75%, a character value that was lower than the character value studied. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research highlights the determination of dominant character values ​​in students, especially in discipline, responsibility and honesty in learning physics. With a sample of three physics teachers, this research uses quantitative descriptive methods and partial data analysis to reveal a new understanding of student character in the context of learning at school.

This research aims to find out the Analysis of Character Education Approaches in Various Countries. Character education is the main focus in various countries to build a young generation with morals and noble character. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection and analysis techniques by searching for literature through several books and scientific articles as well as other trusted sources. This article analyzes character education approaches in several countries, namely, Malaysia, Singapore and Japan. Each country has a different approach in instilling character values ​​in students. Indonesia uses the approach of instilling values, clarifying values, learning to do, leading by example and habituation. Singapore uses a curriculum-based, co-curricular and extracurricular approach, with a focus on leadership development, entrepreneurship and community service. Japan uses a culture and tradition-based approach, with an emphasis on values ​​such as discipline, respect, and responsibility. Analysis shows that there is no single most effective approach to character education. Each country must adapt its approach to its own cultural and social context.

The effect of character-charged maritime textbooks on increasing students’ character values

<span lang="EN-US">Teaching and learning activities for early childhood students currently do not support increasing the character values of graduates, and the emphasis is still on learning whose output leads to competency according to standards. Using character-charged maritime textbooks is a solution to assist teachers in facilitating the application of character values in marine learning. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the impact of character-focused marine textbooks on students’ moral development. The method of research is quasi-experimental, with a pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique is convenience sampling. Two classes use the method, B1 for experimental purposes (with 80 students) and B2 for comparison (with 80 students). Independent T-tests were used in data analysis to compare differences in students’ average scores in the experimental and control groups before the intervention. N-Gain was used to compare the character growth of control and intervention students. The study’s findings indicate that students’ character values significantly influence adoption of morally edifying maritime textbooks. This shows increased student character values, namely responsibility, honesty, discipline, love and affection, caring, courage, independence, and hard work, after being taught using character-charged maritime textbooks. Thus, it can be concluded that character-charged maritime textbooks can significantly increase students’ character values.</span>

Penggunaan Bahasa Gaul (Slang) dan Implikasi Terhadap Nilai Karakter Pada Mahasiswa

Language serves as a medium of human communication as well as a unifying tool for the nation. Language is needed by everyone to express themselves, interact with others, and adapt to the environment. The existence of Indonesian language is negatively affected by the rise of slang. The purpose of this research is to 1) find out the types of slang use, 2) find out the implications of slang on student character values. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that students use slang, abbreviations in their daily communication which is a form of error in the use of Indonesian language properly and correctly. This can hinder the growth and development of Indonesian language which will have an impact on the loss of Indonesian language which is displaced due to slang in the future.

Pengembangan Sikap Toleransi Siswa Melalui Pembelajaran PKN Di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Wonosobo

Character education is education that develops character values in students so that they have values and character as their character, apply these values in their lives, as members of society, and citizens who are religious, nationalist, productive and creative. "Character education is an inseparable part of the learning process because character education is the learning process itself."The education program at MAN 1 Wonosobo can play a role in training efforts to tolerate various students, one of which is through PKN learning at the school. Young people's personalities have to make many decisions and adapt to their social life. Young people must have the courage to make decisions, solve problems and reach decisions for themselves and others. 1. This research discusses the development of an attitude of tolerance through PKN learning at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Wonosobo, whereas in this research the focus is on the following points: What is the concept of student tolerance in PKN learning at MAN 1 Wonosobo? 2. What methods do teachers use to develop students' tolerance through PKN learning at MAN 1 Wonosobo? 3. How is the implementation of developing students' attitudes of tolerance through PKN learning at MAN 1 Wonosobo? From the problem formulation, the results of this research resulted in the first discussion. The concept of students' tolerance through PKN learning at MAN 1 Wonosobo consists of 3 concepts, namely: mutual respect and respect between each other, not violating norms, and not being hostile between friends, secondly, the method used by the teacher In developing students' attitudes of tolerance through PKN learning at MAN 1 Wonosobo, the teacher uses 4 methods, including the lecture method, group discussion method, quiz method, thirdly, the implementation of developing students' tolerance attitudes through PKN learning at MAN 1 Wonosobo, the teacher prepares the materials, methods and learning media.

The Role and Management of Ma’had Al-Jami’ah in Constructing Religious Character Values in PTKIN

This research is motivated by the movement to spread extreme ideology increasingly facilitated by the existence of new media as a tool to inform, propagandize, and spread radical ideas. To overcome this, efforts to voice a moderate way of religion (religious character) are needed. The implementation of a system to fortify students from extremist Islamic groups is done through the implementation of ma’had. This study aims to determine, analyze the characteristics, and construct the formation of religious character in students at PTKIN throughout Indonesia. Applying qualitative research method, the data were collected .from the field based on observations and interviews and library data deriving from books, scientific articles (journals), research reports, etc. Data analysis techniques include data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study indicate that the characteristics of religious character in Ma’had Al-Jami’ah PTKIN throughout Indonesia can be identified by looking at intact faith, diligently performing worship, and having noble character. The role of Ma’had Al-Jami’ah in constructing religious character values in students at PTKIN throughout Indonesia is very strategic. This research contributes to PTKIN in Indonesia in accepting and graduating a very large number of students. The process of forming religious characters in students at PTKIN throughout Indonesia can be said to run simultaneously, namely through ta’lim activities, moderate insights, habituation of ubudiyah, and enactment of rules because ma’had has designed various religious activities in it in an integrated and continuous manner, aka becoming a daily routine.

Pendidikan Karakter Guru PAI Kepada Moralitas Religius Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama

This study aims to analyze the character education of PAI teachers to the religious morality of junior high school students. This research uses a qualitative case study. In this study, data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. A direct observation approach was used in this study, where researchers went directly to the research location to make observations and record data systematically using instruments as a guide. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Panjatan, Kulon Progo Karangasem Surakarta which is located in Gotakan, Panjatan Kec, Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta. Students of SMP Negeri 1 Panjatan, Kulon Progo participated in this research. The results of this study The teacher has succeeded in instilling religious character education in students through the habituation method and applying it well to students. In improving and instilling religious character values in students, teachers take a habituation approach to students. It is known that sanctions in the form of punishment are effective in improving and developing students' religious character. Students can develop good habits in everyday life without coercion with this habituation method. The efforts made by teachers to instill students' religious character using the habituation method in terms of obedience to God make many students worship regularly and obediently without coercion from the teacher.

ANALISIS NILAI-NILAI KARAKTER SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PPKn DI KELAS VII SMP SWASTA FAJAR MAS LASORI II

The aims of this research are 1) To find out what the character values ​​of students are in learning in class VII of Fajar Mas Lasori II Private Middle School and 2) To find out Civics learning in class VII of Fajar Mas Lasori II Private Middle School. This type of research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The subjects in this research were PPKn subject teachers and class VII students at Fajar Mas Lasori II Private Middle School. Data collection techniques in this research used 1) Observation Techniques, 2) Interview Techniques, 3) Documentation Techniques. The data analysis technique in this research uses 1) Data Reduction, 2) Data Presentation, 3) Conclusion Drawing. The results of this research indicate that the character values ​​of students in class VII PPKn learning at Fajar Mas Lasori II Private Middle School are good. So it can be concluded that 1) Based on the results of interviews with teachers and students presented in Chapter VI, it can be concluded that the character values ​​of class VII students at Fajar Mas Lasori II Private Middle School are good 2) The results of this research data analysis show that PPKn learning in class VII Fajar Mas Lasori II Private Middle School has been integrated with all character values. Suggestions from researchers 1) To the school, to achieve ideal student character values, it is best to implement, supervise the process, and evaluate student character values ​​in accordance with predetermined standards, not only during the PPKn learning process but at all stages of learning at school and outside school. 2) Subject teachers must continue to develop educational skills to master various methods, strategies and techniques in the learning process to achieve the predetermined character achievement indicators.

Implementation of Multicultural Education as Efforts to Strengthen the Five Main Character Values of Student Moderation at SDN Kutuh Kintamani

This research aims to reveal, understand, describe, and analyze facts about implementing multicultural education as strengthening the five central values of student character in the form of moderation at SDN Kutuh Kintamani, holistically and comprehensively following the science of religious education. The type of research used was descriptive qualitative. The methods used in data collection were interviews, observations, and documentation. The technique for determining informants was carried out using purposive sampling, taking samples adapted to the research objectives, and data analysis was carried out in four ways: data collection, reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Implementing multicultural education and strengthening the five central character values is very important for students' lives in society, in addition to understanding the five central character values that the Ministry of Education and Culture has determined as a reference for realizing religious moderation to prevent discriminatory actions against different groups in society, and also embodies the spiritual teachings they adhere to. This research impacts the social life of society to understand multicultural education, which can strengthen the five central character values as a form of religious moderation established by the Ministry of Education and Culture to foster solid and reliable religious tolerance. Abstract :This research aims to find out how the Islamic boarding school learning model is implemented as character development at the Datok Sulaiman Putra Modern Islamic Boarding School, Palopo City and to find out what the supporting and inhibiting factors are for the Islamic boarding school learning model as character development at the Datok Sulaiman Putra Modern Islamic Boarding School, Palopo City. The research results show that the implementation of the Islamic boarding school learning model at the Datok Sulaiman Putra Modern Islamic Boarding School, Palopo City is carried out at the start of Islamic boarding school learning hours. Islamic boarding school learning activities are programs that support the formation of better character values ​​for students, where students are taught to be obedient to worship, independent, disciplined, responsible, live simply, creatively and carry out various other activities or routines. Supporting factors include carrying out various student activities both in the teaching and learning process in Islamic boarding schools and outside Islamic boarding schools/Islamic boarding schools, where the environmental atmosphere in Islamic boarding schools can make students comfortable and safe in carrying out various activities or routines. The routines that students carry out in Islamic boarding schools are daily life habits such as prayer, fasting, reciting the Koran, good manners, maintaining cleanliness, etc. that will stick with the students.

Independent Curriculum Analysis from Constructivism and Ki Hajar Dewantara Philosophy Perspective

This research discusses the central role of education in reform in Indonesia through the Independent Curriculum, with a constructivist philosophical approach and Ki Hajar Dewantara's perspective. This literature research aims to explain the Independent Curriculum from the perspective of constructivism and the philosophy of Ki Hajar Dewantara. This research aims to understand the extent to which the Merdeka Curriculum implements a constructivist approach and to determine the implementation of character education values and the formation of national identity in the Merdeka Curriculum by the views of Ki Hajar Dewantara. The results of this research show that the Merdeka Curriculum perspective from constructivism and Ki Hajar Dewantara's philosophy shows the importance of active student participation, social interaction, learning contextuality, character values, national identity, local wisdom, freedom and student independence. Holistic evaluation is needed to ensure implementation that is consistent with the philosophical vision, thereby creating individuals with character, national identity and independence.
