An Improved Scheduling Algorithm for Cloud Storage

In this paper,the authors briefly describe the development of cloud storage and give an improved cloud storage model. This paper proposes a scheduling algorithm based on Priority (SAP). According to the priority of data block ,the algorithm schedules on mastering the supply and demand of data block comprehensively and accurately, and solves the system's launch delay and the continuity of streaming media player.

Architecture for video streaming application on heterogeneous platform

In this paper, we propose a new architecture, which is an efficient streaming media player application on heterogeneous platform. The streaming library can be used in design for reducing the memory bandwidth on processing RTSP/RTP/RTCP network protocols. And the proposed improvement has to do with the I-frame encoding alone. The architecture can receive higher rate for data transfer and packet loss in embedded system. The framework of the key components is able to adopt Direct Memory Access to reduce the time-consumption resulted from the communication between the dual cores. On the other hand, the approach of the dynamic quality adaption improves the video bitstream by periodically adjusting the values of encoding quality parameters. Through the experiment results, it is evident that the new video streaming architecture greatly enhances the coding efficacy. Our experimental results present that the decoding/encoding speed of the dual-core CPU embedded with Direct Memory Access is enhanced up to 50 %, and its usage of CPU resources and memory bandwidth are 50 % lower than that of the popular JRTPLIB.

Design on HEVC Streaming Media Player Based for Android

The HEVC standard is mainly for high-definition and ultra-high-definition video images. The compression performance of HEVC has been further improved, but at the same time coding complexity is also higher than the existing standard. This paper firstly analyzed the architecture of HEVC decoding process and its mainly algorithm components. Then this paper designed how to use the Android NDK to transplant the HM decoding library, and then take the java native interface to resolve the HEVC stream. After decoding the data, this paper converts the YUV data into RGB format for display. The experiment results show that the design scheme is feasible and the HEVC player achieves the basic functions in the Android platform.

Research of Video Data Management Based on Cloud Storage

This study introductions situation of video storage and the methods of video data management, then proposes a Scheduling Strategy algorithm based on Offset Cache (SSOC). According to the statistical information of data block buffer offset, through building a cloud environment and studying the storage layer’s video data storage of the cloud storage, the algorithm schedules on mastering the supply and demand of data block comprehensively and accurately and solves the system's launch delay and the continuity of streaming media player. The method has applied in school's teaching resources.

Technology of spots advertising in P2P streaming media player system

To meet the requirement of spots advertising in P2P streaming media player system,taking account of the characteristics of P2P communication,the authors proposed a smooth spots advertising technology which can save more system memory.To realize the technology,the active prefetching algorithm for streaming media based on relevance between resources was adopted to obtain advertisement resources.The dynamic hared memory pool technology was applied to store and broadcast advertisement.The application of this spots advertising technology expanded the field of advertising,enhanced the influence of advertisement,helped advertisers increase the number of customers,and enabled the streaming media providers to be more competitive in the market.
