Designing File Storage and Sharing System

Background: Files stored on a network are anticipated to be exchanged securely and efficiently. An internet-based file management platform that enables users to securely create, save, organize, collaborate, and share files. Sharing is a recently developed service idea that is frequently sought after by researchers and students. The suggested work offers many forms of data files, including documents and multimedia files. File storage has been a widely used storage method for many years. Materials and Methods: The proposed method used to build the website is Visual Studio 2015 with SQL server Database to provide file storage with different data type storage and it provides a service as an IT repository file storage system to help student and teachers to communicate with each other in academic way for publishing files in easy and in a flexible manner. Results: The proposed system results showed that the website can provide file upload with supported files are ".doc", ".docx", ".pptx", ".pdf", ".zip", ".rar", ".mp4", ".flv", ".avi", ".PDF", ".DOCX" and ".DOC". Results showed that the system uploaded file size 5M, 10 and 25 M smoothly. Conclusion: The work provides a flexible way to store and sharing files for different fields and we use it for education purposes. The results showed that the proposed system is very flexible in the process of uploading various files at a very high speed, due to the ease of uploading files to the server and accessing them by various students in the college.

Designing an Electronic Blood Analysis System

Background: The primary use of this tool is to assist in calibrating the degree of clinical suspicion for a diagnosis, aiding in either confirming or excluding it. Additionally, it is employed for the purpose of illness monitoring. The amount of clinical suspicion and the probability of a specific test result might be positively associated in practical terms. Materials and Methods: The proposed method used to build the website is Visual Studio 2015 with SQL server Database to provide the possibility of electronic interaction and communication between the patient and the laboratory official, through prior online reservation and it is possible to create an account for the patient as well, allowing him to access information about blood analysis within the laboratory as well as the ability to print the report in the form of a paper report. Results: The proposed system website provides the ability to test blood for eight of the common blood test methods, represented by the following tests: Knowing the blood type (ABO), white blood cell count (WBC) / red blood cell number, platelet count, erythrocyte sedimentation time (ESR), estimation of hemoclopane (HB) to sixth experiment, hematocrit determination (PVC), The seventh experiment measured bleeding time (BTE). Conclusion: The current study is able to provide fast, accurate, and detailed analysis of blood samples without the need for manual processing and it leads to cost savings for healthcare facilities in the long run.

Design of a JSP based Mobile Phone Repair Reservation System

With the development of the times, mobile phones are becoming more and more popular. The increase in the number of mobile phones will lead to an increase in the number of mobile phone repairs. Developing a mobile phone repair appointment system can be beneficial for mobile phone repairs. The mobile phone repair reservation system adopts the B/S mode, using Eclipse software as the system development tool and Java programming language for system development. The system database adopts SQL Server database. In system development, JSP and Servlet technologies are used to help users repair their phones more conveniently, while also benefiting maintenance personnel. The mobile phone repair reservation system designed in this paper consists of a front-end user module and a back-end administrator module. The front-end module implements functions such as registering and logging in for front-end maintenance personnel, modifying personal information, publishing, viewing, modifying, and deleting appointments for maintenance personnel, registering and logging in for front-end users, modifying personal information, making appointments, viewing appointments, and canceling appointments. The backend module enables administrators to modify personal information, view and delete personal information of users and maintenance personnel, view and delete appointment information, and other functions.

Analysis for an open-source library in database management systems

AbstractSpatial data management is crucial for applications like urban planning and environmental monitoring. While traditional relational databases are commonly used, they struggle with large and complex spatial data. NoSQL databases provide support for unstructured data and scalability. This article compares the performance and disk space usage of SQL Server (a relational database) and MongoDB (NoSQL database) using an open-source library. Experiments conducted with the OpenStreetMap dataset from Central America show that the MongoDB database outperformed the relational SQL Server database in most cases, offering practical advantages for spatial data management in Geographic Information System applications.

Dynamic safety information modeling of underground cavern groups in the entire construction process

The construction of underground cavern groups represents a particularly challenging task in current subsurface engineering due to a multitude of variable and often unknown factors, including diverse geological conditions. This study introduces a four-dimensional spatiotemporal model and formulates a dynamic safety information model for these underground systems. Developed using C# and Python, the model integrates the finite element analysis software ABAQUS and Microsoft SQL Server database. The framework allows for real-time visual management of monitoring data, dynamic coupling of construction phases with safety metrics, and continual updates correlating with construction progress. The theoretical findings offer valuable insights for enhancing the safety and efficiency of underground cavern group construction while also supplying methods for real-time safety feedback and control throughout the construction process.

Design and Realization of Fully Automatic Pump Performance Test System

With the development of automation technology, it gradually replaces manual labor in various fields. Pumps are widely used in various production processes in the industrial field. To enhance the automation level of the pump production and testing process will significantly reduce production costs. This paper aims to design and realize a set of fully automatic, high-precision pump performance testing system. The fully automated operation of the performance test is designed according to the flow rate automatic sampling method, to achieve the accurate measurement of the pump operating conditions. Utilizing the PID algorithm, the valve is automatically adjusted through PLC control to realize the accurate positioning of the flow measurement point. With the help of the software program to carry out the calculation and analysis of test data, to achieve the visualization of the test process of the whole performance test data management. At the same time, SQL Server database is used to realize rapid query and management of test data. After the test verification, the system realizes the full-automatic measurement of the pump performance curve, and the measurement accuracy conforms to the standard of ISO 9906:2012.

Design and Implementation of Management Information System for University Library

With the rapid development of the Internet, information processing work in universities has also increased, from libraries to electronic book management platforms, everything is available. Although the number of libraries we have is constantly increasing and people's attention to them is also increasing, their existence is often universal, non-existent, and sometimes incomplete, which brings great difficulties to our daily management. Analyzed the workflow and functional requirements of university libraries, and applied them in practice to achieve better results. On this basis, the paper provides a detailed analysis of the main functions and various forms of the enterprise financial management information system. SQL Server 2008 is a database based system with high confidentiality and large-scale storage capacity. Through this concept and approach, one can better grasp and grasp the business skills required in daily work and work, greatly improving work efficiency. A library MIS based on AIS/S model was constructed using an A/S model and a SQL Server database. This software is user centered and librarian centered. They proposed a system to the library that maximized its workflow and improved its service management and supply.

Microservices‐based databank for Turkish hazelnut cultivars using IoT and semantic web technologies

SummaryInformation and communication technologies (ICTs) can play a crucial role in facilitating access to comprehensive information on the quality standards of Turkish hazelnut cultivars. In this regard, this study introduces a Hazelnut Databank System (HDS) that utilizes the microservices architecture, an integrated software system supported by the Internet of Things (IoT) and semantic web, to categorize Turkish hazelnut cultivars. The study focuses on developing microservices using various programming languages and frameworks. Specifically, C# on the .NET Core Framework was used for both microservices and the web‐based application implemented through the ASP.NET Core MVC Framework. Mobile‐based software applications were created using Xamarin. Forms, and the IoT application was developed using the Python programming language. The data storage is facilitated through the MS SQL Server database. Additionally, the study incorporates the implementation of a hazelnut species classification system using the DNN + ResNet50 machine learning model, achieving an impressive accuracy rate of 95.77%. The overall usability of the system was evaluated, resulting in a score of 42 out of 50. By providing detailed information on Turkish hazelnut cultivars, the HDS has the potential to greatly improve hazelnut production quality in Turkey and increase awareness of hazelnut agriculture among relevant stakeholders.

Sheep and goat pathogen database: a pathogen data integration and analysis database of sheep and goat infectious diseases.

The prevalence of infectious diseases in sheep and goats has a significant impact on the development of the sheep and goat industry and public health security. The identification and analysis of pathogens are crucial for infectious disease research; however, existing databases pay little attention to sheep and goat diseases, and pathogen data are relatively scattered. Therefore, the effective integration, analysis and visualization of these data will help us conduct in-depth research on sheep and goat infectious diseases and promote the formulation of disease prevention and control strategies. This article considered the pathogens of 44 infectious diseases in sheep and goats as the main research objects and collected and downloaded relevant scientific literature, pathogen genomes, pathogen transcriptomes, pathogen occurrence records, and other data. The C# programming language and an SQL Server database were used to construct and realize the functions of the Sheep and Goat Pathogen Database (SGPD) within a B/S architecture based on the ASP.NET platform. The SGPD mainly provides an integrated platform for sheep and goat pathogen data retrieval, auxiliary analysis, and user upload, including several functionalities: (1) a Disease Introduction module that queries basic information regarding the 44 recorded sheep and goat infectious diseases, such as epidemiology, clinical characteristics, diagnostic criteria, and prevention and control measures; (2) an Omics Information module that allows users to query and download the genome and transcriptome data related to the pathogens of sheep and goat infectious disease, and provide sequence alignment functionality; (3) a Pathogen Structure module that enables users to view electron micrographs of pathogen structure and tissue sections related to sheep and goat disease from publicly published research; (4) a Literature Search module based on the "Pathogen Dictionary" search strategy that facilitates searches for published research related to pathogens of infectious disease; (5) a Science Popularization module that allows users to view popular science materials related to sheep and goat infectious diseases; and (6) a Public Health module that allows users to query the risk factors of zoonotic disease transmission and the corresponding related literature, and realize the visualization of pathogen distribution. The SGPD is a specialized sheep and goat pathogen information database that provides comprehensive resources and technical support for sheep and goat infectious disease research, prevention, and control.

Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Timbangan Digital Menggunakan Metode Waterfall Berbasis Desktop

A weighing bridge is a series of equipment used to weigh goods vehicles or trucks. This equipment can be installed permanently or portable. On the weighing bridge there are several bridges that are used for weighing so as not to exceed the load, but in this research the weighing bridge in question is for weighing goods in the form of cardboard, materials, etc., this weighing bridge still does not use an application or is still recording manually, therefore This research aims to design a weighing bridge application using digital scales and an IP Cam. This research has a tool to connect the load cell to the application, namely RS232. The development of this application uses the waterfall method, and this research has its own research methodology and stages which are similar to the waterfall method. The application design uses the VB.NET programming language and SQLServer database. This application has several features, namely that it can record data from weighings, automatically the weighing value appears and can take pictures from CCTV on the weighing bridge for data proof that the data that has been entered is correct. From the methods that have been used in this research, they have been successful in designing applications, success can be seen from testing and applying the methodology chosen from this research. The test used in this research is BlackBox testing.

The Adult Changes in Thought (ACT) Medical Records Abstraction Project: A resource for research on the aging brain and Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias

AbstractBackgroundAdult Changes in Thought (ACT) is a prospective cohort study of older adults from Seattle, Washington, USA. Participants are enrolled from Kaiser Permanente Washington membership and may consent for autopsy. Many participants have decades of medical records prior to ACT enrollment. We describe an ambitious project to abstract medical records to facilitate epidemiological investigation.MethodAbstractions include medication data preceding 1977 (the start of automated pharmacy data), laboratory data preceding 1988 (the start of automated laboratory data), women’s health history elements, blood pressures, several cardiovascular conditions, several neurological conditions, physical injuries, psychiatric conditions, and other medical conditions, among many others. Data are entered in a Microsoft Access front‐end interface linked to a Microsoft SQL Server database engine. The database comprises 15 tables in a relational structure. We summarize chart review data and other data according to dementia status.ResultWe have completed abstractions on 1329 individuals, of whom 908 had an autopsy. For the first 380 people with an autopsy, it took an average of 6.2 hours (SD 3.8 hours) to abstract >30 years of medical data. More recent electronic medical record data take longer to abstract. In this sample, 236 (62%) died without Alzheimer’s Disease or Related Dementias (ADRD) dementia, and 144 (38%) died with an ADRD dementia diagnosis. Demographic and clinical data are summarized in the Table. Over 60% had pharmacy data preceding 1977 with a median of more than a half decade’s worth. Over 90% of the cohort had additional laboratory data preceding 1988, with a median of a decade’s worth. Medical conditions were similarly common across people without and with ADRD, except cerebrovascular accidents, diabetes, depression, and confusion during hospitalization were more common among people with dementia. We will update all numbers for AAIC.ConclusionThe ACT Medical Records Abstraction Project transforms medical records into data ready for analyses of associations with outcomes derived from other data from the ACT study. For the autopsy cohort in particular, the Medical Records Abstraction Project provides unmatched detailed longitudinal clinical data to support a wide variety of epidemiological research on clinical‐pathological correlations.

Air Quality Data Acquisition Through Temporal Data Modeling

The paper presents a novel temporal data model for acquiring air quality data. The proposed model uses the free and open-source Postgres database with tuple time stamping, resulting in rapid and effective data extraction. The conventional relational database SQL server for data extraction is used in this paper as the foundation for an air quality temporal database model. The air quality data set collected for MDU Rohtak (source: Central Control Room for Air Quality Management - All India) is utilized to test and determine the outcomes of the proposed model. Valid time is used as the time dimension for capturing data values, together with tuple timestamping. The Postgres "tsrange" datatype is used to record the timestamp. To eliminate data duplication, the dataset is cleaned up and normalized. Using the air quality temporal data model, AQI data at various time points is effectively extracted. The present model data extraction is compared with the conventional relational data model using SQL Server database. The air quality data extraction process takes a remarkably minimal amount of time, with an average of 23% lesser time than SQL server database. It takes only a few milliseconds to extract the AQI data, and the results of the experiment are ready immediately after that. The suggested model is helpful in decision-making and offers decision-makers useful information and the tool they need to enhance air quality. The results are relevant to the study of the AQI components by different pollution management agencies like central and state pollution control boards, national green tribunal and Ministry of the Environment for efficient air pollution control measures.

Research on Public Management of Health Examination in Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

In the face of the social environment with the rapid development of population aging, ordinary social residents may suffer from chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cerebral thrombosis, coronary heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, respiratory diseases, etc., so regular physical examination for middle-aged and elderly groups and young groups has become an important direction of the CDC's public management. Relying on big data mining technology, C/S (Client Server) architecture, SQL server database and other software development technologies, we will build an information management system for the health examination of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We will strengthen the systematic input and management of personnel registration, examination photography, project sampling, examination results, and review results, effectively improving the public management quality of the health examination of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Performance analysis of databases created in virtualized and containerized environment

Database systems are currently implemented on different environments - containerized and virtualized. This paper aimed to compare the performance of relational databases running on these two environments. Therefore, two research hypotheses were formulated. The first hypothesis assumed that databases running on Docker containers are more efficient than those on virtual machines. The second one assumed that the Oracle is the most efficient database regardless of which environment it was run on. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases were tested. The study measured the execution times of INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE and SELECT queries. Each test was repeated 100 times. It was stated that databases running on Docker containers outperform instances running on virtual machines. Furthermore, it was found that the PostgreSQL database have a definite advantage in performance over the rest, analysed databases, which allowed the second hypothesis to be rejected.

Substance Abuse Poisoning Registry development Based on Lessons Learned from a Pilot Implementation

Introduction: Substance abuse has been recognized as a national problem in which poisoning with pharmaceutical drugs, opioids and alcohols is a common problem in Iran. Due to the lack of a comprehensive information system related to Substance abuse, despite the systematic information in health services, and to achieve this goal, the purpose of this research was to develop a registry system for substance abuse poisoning in - Urmia University of Medical Sciences.Material and Methods: This research is a practical development study that was done in 4 phases. In the first phase, minimum data set (MDS) of the system were determined. In the second phase, the registration system was designed. The third phase includes the implementation of the system, and finally, the system was evaluated by QUIS questionnaire.Results: A total of 58 data elements in 6 classes were recognized as essential for this system from the point of view of experts. The system was implemented on the ASP.NET platform using C# language and SQL Server database in the poisoning department of Taleghani Hospital in Urmia. The evaluation of usability of the system showed score obtained in the 6 main categories were in set of terms of the system 8.52, screen 8.36, ability to learn 8.8, overall functionality 8.04, user interface 7.98, and the overall interaction is 7.73 respectively.Conclusion: Considering the capabilities of the system for registering poisonings caused by drug abuse, it seems necessary to implement this system in the form of a national network, in order to make the necessary interventions to control drug abuse while using resources efficiently.

Blockchain Application In Management Of Electricity Data

This paper presents a model of using smart electronic meters and network tools to store information about power, price, and customer code in information blocks of Blockchain applications to manage electricity bills. Price transactions will be stored as a data block. The following data block will be linked to the previous, eliminating third-party management. The web user interface is designed to allow customers and administrators to monitor and receive notifications of suspected data attacks. The web application is developed by using Visual Studio software, which supports the C# language, popular among programmers and web developers. The data obtained from the meter is stored using Microsoft SQL Server, a powerful and popular database management system widely used in web applications to improve database services and reduce problems encountered in application development. Experimental model on the EPM5500P meter offers high stability, transparent and secure data management, which can be applied to a large scale such as buildings or industrial areas.

RLS Side Channels: Investigating Leakage of Row-Level Security Protected Data Through Query Execution Time

Many modern use cases of relational databases involve multi-tenancy. To allow a tenant to only access its data, relational database systems (RDBMSs) introduced row-level security (RLS). RLS enables specifying per-row access controls, which the database enforces by rewriting tenant queries to add an RLS policy filter that filters out rows the tenant is not allowed to view. Unfortunately, while RLS blocks queries from returning unauthorized data, side-effects of query execution can form a side-channel that leaks information about such secret data. This paper investigates how RLS query execution time can leak information about rows that the querying tenant is restricted from viewing. We show that in PostgreSQL and SQL Server, an attacker can craft index-using queries to learn whether a value they are not authorized to view exists in an RLS-protected table, and in some cases, how many times such a value exists in the table. Our attack succeeds in a realistic cloud setting: we successfully attack managed PostgreSQL and SQL Server database instances on AWS from virtual machines in the same and different data centers. To block the RLS time side-channel, we design a data-oblivious query scheme for the case of unique keys. We also analyze the trade-offs created by the data-oblivious approach for non-unique keys. To facilitate the evaluation of RLS attacks and defenses, we introduce a benchmark that supports multi-tenancy and RLS, which are not supported by established benchmarks such as YCSB. We implement our solution in PostgreSQL and show that it achieves security with minimal performance impact.

Design of The Power Supply and Distribution Monitoring System for NNBI

The power supply and distribution system provides powerful support for the efficient operation of the negative ion source neutral beam injector (NNBI) experiment. To centrally manage the power supply equipment of each subsystem of NNBI, a power supply, and distribution monitoring system based on WinCC software and SQL Server database is developed. The system has an excellent man-machine interaction interface and realizes the monitoring and management of energy consumption in the power supply and distribution system. It has circuit process monitoring, fault alarm, operation log, historical data query, and other functions. After testing, the system can run stably and reliably control each device. At the same time, the system has good compatibility and expansibility and meets the needs of intelligent management and monitoring of the power supply and distribution system.

Research on education management system based on machine learning and multidimensional data modeling

Abstract With the rapid development of modern information technology, especially the continuous improvement of computer network technology, the application of education management system in teaching is becoming more and more extensive. Therefore, education management system and machine learning will become an important combination direction of education. First, design and implement a complete network education management system based on B/S architecture, and design from the overall system design, detailed design and database design. Among them, the computer language combined with the SQL Server database realizes the network teaching function and the education system management function. Then, PSO-SVM machine learning is adopted to make personalized learning course recommendation for students. Multi-dimensional data analysis and feature extraction. Finally, the PSO-SVM proposed in this paper is applied to the education management system for modeling training, and compared with other traditional machine learning personalized recommendation accuracy and likeness of learning course recommendation. The experimental results show that the PSO-SVM proposed in this paper is superior to other traditional machine learning models in terms of personalized learning course recommendation and favorability, with an accuracy rate of 94.7%.

Design and Development of Map Vertical Social Platform Based on LBS

In recent years, vertical social communication among strangers characterized by anonymization and personalization is becoming a new approach to social communication in mobile Internet era. This paper developed a map vertical social platform based on LBS technology and Retrofit network framework in an attempt to solve such problems as the slow shift from online to offline social activities and barriers to communication between strangers . The platform implements real-time map display by connecting to the Golden Map SDK, uses C/S three-tier structure as the system architecture, SQL Server database to store and manage data, MVVM as the backend framework, and constructs four modules of map social, social activities and recommendation, group chat and user center based on the social needs of young people, which effectively meets the anonymous social needs of strangers.
