This study aims to examine the effects of self-health care behaviors for healthy life and sport commitment associated with participation items in the sport center on quality of life for healthy life in sport facility users and provide useful and beneficial materials for their healthy life. In order to achieve this purpose, a research was conducted with a total of 867 sport facility users(male 451, female 416) in G Metropolitan City and C Province. Finally the following results were obtained. The causal relation was analyzed to examine the effect of sport commitment associated with health care behaviors on quality of life. Consequently, it was found that health care behaviors had a significant effect on sport commitment and quality of life, but sport commitment had no effect on quality of life. Based on this conclusion, while self-care health care behaviors(health care, local and international relation, and physical activity) had an important effect on sport commitment and quality of life, sport commitment had no effect on quality of life. Consequently, to improve sport participant`s quality of life, their participation in health care programs, self health check, relationship with other people, regular relaxation, and systematic health promotion behaviors should be conducted. Also, it is considered that sport commitment which has no effect on positive life can improve quality of life if sport facility users participate in sport with appropriate concern for sport and definite perception of sport effects.
