Electrical conductivity and thermal stability of polyaniline and water-soluble polymer nanocomposites

Electrically conductive composites with film-forming properties based on polyaniline (PANI), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), and polymethacrylic acid (PMAA) were obtained. The composites were synthesized mechanochemically by mixing calculated amounts of PANI and PVA or PMAA. The electrical conductivity increases with an increase in the content of the conductive component in the composite up to a PANI–PVA ratio of 50 to 50. Further increase of PVA in the composite leads to a decrease in the specific electrical conductivity. Similar patterns are observed for PANI–PMAA composites. The study of the effect of temperature on the electrical conductivity of composites made it possible to determine the activation energy of charge transfer (Ea ). The numerical values of Ea lie in the range of 0.371 to 0.981 eV and depend on the ratio of PANI–PVA and PANI–PMAA polymers in the composites. The thermal decomposition of composites and starting components is complex. Several areas are observed on the mass change curves, which indicate a multi-stage thermal decomposition process.

Uniform P-Doped MnMoO4 Nanosheets for Enhanced Asymmetric Supercapacitors Performance.

Manganese molybdate has garnered considerable interest in supercapacitor research owing to its outstanding electrochemical properties and nanostructural stability but still suffers from the common problems of transition metal oxides not being able to reach the theoretical specific capacitance and lower electrical conductivity. Doping phosphorus elements is an effective approach to further enhance the electrochemical characteristics of transition metal oxides. In this study, MnMoO4·H2O nanosheets were synthesized on nickel foam via a hydrothermal route, and the MnMoO4·H2O nanosheet structure was successfully doped with a phosphorus element using a gas-solid reaction method. Phosphorus element doping forms phosphorus-metal bonds and oxygen vacancies, thereby increasing the charge storage and conductivity of the electrode material. The specific capacitance value is as high as 2.112 F cm-2 (1760 F g-1) at 1 mA cm-2, which is 3.2 times higher than that of the MnMoO4·H2O electrode (0.657 F cm-2). The P-MnMoO4//AC ASC device provides a high energy density of 41.9 Wh kg-1 at 666.8 W kg-1, with an 84.5% capacity retention after 10,000 charge/discharge cycles. The outstanding performance suggests that P-MnMoO4 holds promise as an electrode material for supercapacitors.

Molten salts etching route driven construction of C@Ni nanoparticles loaded carbon nanosheet as high-performance electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction

Developing earth-abundant, low-cost, high-efficiency electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) by structure design is still a grand challenge. Herein, we fabricated Ni nanoparticles encapsulated by carbon loaded in two-dimensional carbon nanosheets (2D Ni@C@SU) using a molten salt (NaCl)-assisted pyrolysis method. Because of the large specific surface area (262.35 m²/g) and high electrical conductivity, the prepared 2D Ni@C@SU-0.75 electrocatalyst exhibits excellent HER electrocatalytic activity with the overpotential of −105 mV at −10 mA cm−2 and −367 mV at −200 mA cm−2, which is close to the commercial benchmark Pt/C (η200= −339 mV). Besides, the catalyst displays incredible durability in the electrocatalytic HER. This research indicates that the green solid-state synthetic strategy provides a new window for designing new Ni-based composite catalysts for electrocatalytic HER.

Exploring Enhanced Hydrolytic Dehydrogenation of Ammonia Borane with Porous Graphene-Supported Platinum Catalysts.

Graphene is a good support for immobilizing catalysts, due to its large theoretical specific surface area and high electric conductivity. Solid chemical converted graphene, in a form with multiple layers, decreases the practical specific surface area. Building pores in graphene can increase specific surface area and provide anchor sites for catalysts. In this study, we have prepared porous graphene (PG) via the process of equilibrium precipitation followed by carbothermal reduction of ZnO. During the equilibrium precipitation process, hydrolyzed N,N-dimethylformamide sluggishly generates hydroxyl groups which transform Zn2+ into amorphous ZnO nanodots anchored on reduced graphene oxide. After carbothermal reduction of zinc oxide, micropores are formed in PG. When the Zn2+ feeding amount is 0.12 mmol, the average size of the Pt nanoparticles on PG in the catalyst is 7.25 nm. The resulting Pt/PG exhibited the highest turnover frequency of 511.6 min-1 for ammonia borane hydrolysis, which is 2.43 times that for Pt on graphene without the addition of Zn2+. Therefore, PG treated via equilibrium precipitation and subsequent carbothermal reduction can serve as an effective support for the catalytic hydrolysis of ammonia borane.

Cowpea storage: Can small farmers use polyethylene terephthalate bottles and wood ash as an alternative to avoid damage caused by Callosobruchus maculatus?

The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of the combination of Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles and ash in controlling Csllosobruchus maculatus and maintaining the quality of grains of cowpea cultivars. The following storage structures were used: PET bottle in airtight conditions and glass jars in non-airtight condition (control). The wood ash used in this research came from the burning process of eucalyptus (Eucalyptus grandis) wood. The experiment was carried out in a 2 × 2 × 4 factorial scheme, with two cowpea cultivars (BRS Tumucumaque and BRS Guariba), two forms of storage (PET bottle – airtight and glass jars – non-airtight) and four doses of eucalyptus wood ash (0.0; 1.0; 2.0 and 4.0 kg t−1), in a completely randomized design with three replications. Each plot contained 500 g of cowpea. The effectiveness of treatments was measured by the instantaneous population growth rate (ri) of C. maculatus. In ri, 35 adult, non-sexed insects were used. Adult progenies were counted after 60 days of storage. For qualitative grain evaluation the following characteristics were analyzed: water content, germination, apparent specific mass and electrical conductivity. The results obtained in this study confirm for the first time that the combined use of PET and ash do not affect grain quality and it is efficient in the management of C. maculatus in cowpea cultivars. In the present study, a significant reduction in the emergence of C. maculatus was observed in the BRS Tumucumaque, making it possible that this cultivar has some potential for resistance to bruchid.

2D ZIF-8 derived N-doped porous carbon nanosheets for high-performance Li-Se batteries

Lithium-selenium (Li-Se) batteries have attracted increasing attention because of excellent carbonate electrolyte compatibility, comparable theoretical volumetric specific capacity and high electrical conductivity. However, there are still unavoidable issues such as large volume expansion, rapid capacity decay and slow electrochemical reaction kinetics for practical applications. In this work, we report 2D ZIF-8 derived N-doped porous carbon nanosheets (NPC-NS) as Se host for high-performance Li-Se batteries. The unique 2D structure of Se@NPC-NS facilitates Li+ diffusion and charge transfer, thus the Se@NPC-NS cathode exhibits fast electrochemical reaction kinetics. In addition, the N doping enhances electronic conductivity and porous structure mitigates the volume expansion. As a result, the Se@NPC-NS cathode delivers a high reversible capacity of 585 mAh/g with a capacity retention of 99.1 % at 0.5C (1C = 675 mA g−1) after 225 cycles. Especially after 500 cycles at a high current density of 10C, the Se@NPC-NS cathode still displays a reversible specific capacity of 307 mAh/g with only 0.03 % capacity decay per cycle. This work would shed some light on the 2D carbon host as Se-based cathode for high-rate and long-life performance Li-Se batteries.

Electrical properties of A-site Ca-doped LaNb1-xAsxO4-δ ceramics

The electrical properties of A-site Ca-doped LaNbO4 with the addition of As in the B-site, have been investigated. Total, grain- and specific grain boundary electric conductivities in different oxygen partial pressure, and water vapour partial pressure were determined. Additional conductivity measurements were performed in nitrogen, to suppress the possible p-type conductivity, focusing on protonic conductivity. The maximum measured total conductivity was recorded for La0.99Ca0.01Nb0.9As0.1O4-δ at 800 °C, which was equal to 1.2·10−4 S·cm−1 in H2O- humidified air, and 2.2·10−5 S·cm−1 in H2O- humidified N2. From the deconvoluted data, the lowest activation energies for grain conduction were obtained in both atmospheres for La0.99Ca0.01Nb0.7As0.3O4-δ. In the temperature range 400 °C – 550 °C it was 0.23 eV and 0.13 eV respectively for H2O- humidified air and H2O- humidified N2. The results show that the increasing arsenic amount mainly influences the activation energies, whereas the calcium addition slightly improves the grain conductivity. The pO2 experiments revealed that in oxidizing atmospheres, electron holes contribute to the conductivity. The high proton transfer numbers were obtained for each sample, peaking at tH+ = 0.91 for LaNb0.7As0.3O4 at 400 °C. Interestingly, even at elevated temperatures relatively high values are obtained where tH+ = 0.87 was recorded at 800 °C for La0.99Ca0.01Nb0.9As0.1O4-δ.

Monitoring and predicting corn grain quality on the transport and post-harvest operations in storage units using sensors and machine learning models

Monitoring the intergranular variables of corn grain mass during the transportation, drying, and storage stages it possible to predict and avoid potential grain quality losses. For monitoring the grain mass along the transport, a probe system with temperature, relative humidity, and carbon dioxide sensors was developed to determine the equilibrium moisture content and the respiration of the grain mass. These same variables were monitored during storage. At drying process, the drying air and grain mass temperatures, as well as the relative humidity, were monitored. For the prediction of the physical and physical–chemical quality of the grains, the results obtained from the monitoring were used as input data for the multiple linear regression, artificial neural networks, decision tree, and random forest models. A Pearson correlation was applied to verify the relationship between the monitored and predicted variables. From the results obtained, we verified that the intergranular relative humidity altered the equilibrium moisture content of the grains, contributing to the increased respiration and hence dry matter losses along the transport. At this stage, the artificial neural network model was the most indicated to predict the electrical conductivity, apparent specific mass, and germination. The random forest model satisfactorily estimated the dry matter loss. During drying, the air temperature caused volumetric contraction and thermal damage to the grains, increasing the electric conductivity index. Artificial neural network and random forest models were the most suitable for predicting the quality of dry grains. During storage, the environmental conditions altered the moisture contents causing a reduction in the apparent specific mass, germination, and crude protein, crude fiber, and fat contents. Artificial neural network and random forest were the best predictors of moisture content and germination. However, the random forest model was the best predictor of apparent specific mass, electrical conductivity, and starch content of stored grains.

Hydrogeochemical and Isotopic Characterisation of the Učja Aquifer, NW Slovenia

The groundwater characteristics of the Učja aquifer were investigated using geochemical and isotopic data. The water discharge and physico-chemical properties of the groundwater and the Učja River reflect the climate that is characteristic of the area. The mixed snow/rainfall regime is characteristic for the Učja Valley, with the highest discharges appearing during the spring snowmelt and autumn precipitation, and the lowest discharges in the winter and especially summer months. The temperature of the groundwater and the Učja River is lower in winter and higher in summer. The specific electrical conductivity values indicate a very permeable carbonate aquifer. Higher conductivity values were observed in spring and autumn at all sampling sites, which is related to snowy and rainy periods. The groundwater from the Učja aquifer indicates a uniform type of water (Ca-Mg-HCO3), with Ca2+, Mg2+ and HCO3– the most abundant ions. Differences in Ca2+ and Mg2+ concentrations and in the Mg2+/Ca2+ molar ratio between sampling sites were observed. Those springs with lower Mg2+ and lower Mg2+/Ca2+ molar ratios indicate limestone recharge areas, and those springs with higher Mg2+ and molar ratios indicate interaction with the dolomite hinterland. The pH values confirm alkaline waters characteristic of carbonate aquifers. The hydrogen (δ2H) and oxygen (δ18O) isotope values suggest the main source of water is from precipitation from a complex mixing of maritime and continental air masses. An altitude isotopic effect is observed with minor δ18O and δ2H depletion at higher altitude sampling sites compared to those springs at lower altitudes. The altitude isotopic effect is most prominent in spring. The δ13CDIC values indicate the dissolution of carbonates and the degradation of organic matter.

Carbon nanowall-based gas sensors for carbon dioxide gas detection

Carbon nanowalls (CNWs) have attracted significant attention for gas sensing applications due to their exceptional material properties such as large specific surface area, electric conductivity, nano- and/or micro-porous structure, and high charge carrier mobility. In this work, CNW films were synthesized and used to fabricate gas sensors for carbon dioxide (CO2) gas sensing. The CNW films were synthesized using an inductively-coupled plasma (ICP) plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) method and their structural and morphological properties were characterized using Raman spectroscopy and electron microscopy. The obtained CNW films were used to fabricate gas sensors employing interdigitated gold (Au) microelectrodes. The gas sensors were fabricated using both direct synthesis of CNW films on interdigitated Au microelectrodes on quartz and also transferring presynthesized CNW films onto interdigitated Au microelectrodes on glass. The CO2 gas-sensing properties of fabricated devices were investigated for different concentrations of CO2 gas and temperature-ranges. The sensitivities of fabricated devices were found to have a linear dependence on the concentration of CO2 gas and increase with temperature. It was revealed that devices, in which CNW films have a maze-like structure, perform better compared to the ones that have a petal-like structure. A sensitivity value of 1.18% was obtained at 500 ppm CO2 concentration and 100 °C device temperature. The CNW-based gas sensors have the potential for the development of easy-to-manufacture and efficient gas sensors for toxic gas monitoring.

Structural, thermal, optical, morphological, electrical, and photocatalytic characteristics of silver-doped bismuth oxide synthesized by the green route

Herein, silver-doped bismuth oxide compositions with different dopant percentages (0 %, 3 %, 5 %, and 7 %) were synthesized at the nanoscale via the green route. The optical study and photoluminescence spectroscopic analysis proposed the bismuth oxide sample doped with 5 % Ag (ABO-5 %), owing to its lower band gap and lower charge recombination aptitude, as the most potential composition. The synergistic effect of nanotechnology and silver doping on the sample's thermal, optical, morphological, electrical, and photocatalytic properties was investigated in detail. X-ray and infrared spectroscopy tests on pure bismuth oxide (BO) and its most potential doped composition (ABO-5 %), show that silver ions took the place of the host metal ions (Bi3+ ions) and made the parent lattice's structure defective. Doping leads to a decrease in particle size, confirmed by morphological examination. Furthermore, it has been shown that adding an Ag dopant has a beneficial impact on improving electrical conductivity, as the ABO-5 % composition (2.3 × 10−3 Sm−1) possessed a higher specific electrical conductivity than the BO (6.7 × 10−4 Sm−1). These variations enhance the photocatalytic aptitude of the ABO-5 % composition and enable it to mineralize 92 % of Eosin Y (EY) dye within a short exposure time of 49 min under W-lamp illumination. ABO-5 % composition also showed superb stability and restrained 97.2 % EY dye mineralization efficiency after four reusability tests. The scavenging experiment identified the *OH radical as the most potent, while holes were shown to be the least effective in the EY dye degradation process. The new, environmentally friendly ABO-5 % composition would help with future progress in cleaning up the environment by using a photocatalyst.

One-Step Non-Contact Additive LIFT Printing of Silver Interconnectors for Flexible Printed Circuits

The single-pass one-step method for printing conductive silver tracks on a glass surface, using the laser-induced forward transfer (LIFT) technique, was proposed, providing a unique opportunity for high-throughput printing of surface micro- and nanostructures with high electrical conductivity and positioning accuracy. This method was developed via our multi-parametric research, resulting in the selection of the optimal material, laser irradiation, and transfer conditions. Optical, scanning and transmission electron, and atomic force microscopy methods, as well as X-ray diffraction, were used to characterize the surface structure and phase state of the printed structures, while energy-dispersive X-ray and X-ray photoelectron microscopy were employed for their chemical microanalysis. Depending on the laser irradiation parameters, the specific electrical conductivity of the printed tracks varied from 0.18 to 83 kS/cm, approaching that of donor magnetron-sputtered films. This single-pass one-step method significantly facilitates fast, large-scale, on-demand local laser printing of metallic (sub)microcomponents of microelectronic devices.

Suppression of spiking defects in deep penetration electron beam welded ETP copper

The electron beam is an appropriate tool to weld pure copper due to its high absorptivity on the copper surface, a high power density and inert vacuum environment. However, deep penetration electron beam welding of pure copper often produces the spiking defect. In this work bead on plate electron beam welding was done on Cu-ETP. A critical welding speed was determined for the distinction between a conduction-determined (at lower welding speed) and a non-conduction-determined welding speed range (at higher welding speed). The influence of high preheating temperatures was shown. The welds were investigated by light optical microscopy, electron backscatter diffraction measurements, ultrasonic testing, in situ thermal imaging, electrical resistance measurements and tensile tests. It was shown that in the conduction-determined welding speed regime without preheating, full and partial penetration welds exhibited root porosity. This effect was related to the overheating of the weld pool in combination with the phenomena causing spiking. Low defect root formation was achieved by using welding speeds greater than the critical value or by applying high preheating temperatures. The joints reached up to 98% of the international annealed copper standard in terms of specific electrical conductivity. Rupture took place within the joints during tensile tests. The joints exhibited up to 77% of the ultimate tensile strength of the base metal. Welds carried out with preheating exceeded the base metal regarding the fracture strain.

MEASUREMENT OF ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY AND RESISTIVITY OF CU-NB18% MICROCOMPOSITE CONDUCTOR AND ITS WELDED JOINT

Systems generating strong magnetic fields are widely used in modern fundamental and applied research as well as in the most innovative industrial processes. These devices generate magnetic fields that reach 5–100 T and the conductors are subjected to a huge Lorentz force, so the conductor material must be extremely strong (UTS ≥ 700 MPa) and have a good specific electrical conductivity (IACS ≥ 60%). Since traditional conductors such as copper, aluminum, gold, and silver cannot withstand such loads, microcomposite materials have been developed that are characterized by such high strength and good specific electrical conductivity. This paper reviews the specific electrical conductivity and specific electrical resistance characteristics of conductor and factors affecting them, methods of measuring these electrical characteristics as well as properties of Cu-Nb18% microcomposite conductor. This paper also describes the methodology for measuring the specific electrical conductivity and specific electrical resistance of the Cu-Nb18% microcomposite conductor solid and with welded joint (welded by using butt welding). The comparison of application possibilities of used methodologies and obtained characteristics was carried out.

Poly(vinyl chloride)/Nanocarbon Composites for Advanced Potentiometric Membrane Sensor Design.

Polymer nanocomposites filled with carbon nanoparticles (CNPs) are a hot topic in materials science. This article discusses the current research on the use of these materials as interfacial electron transfer films for solid contact potentiometric membrane sensors (SC-PMSs). The results of a comparative study of plasticized poly (vinyl chloride) (pPVC) matrices modified with single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs), fullerenes-C60, and their hybrid ensemble (SWCNTs-C60) are reported. The morphological characteristics and electrical conductivity of the prepared nanostructured composite films are reported. It was found that the specific electrical conductivity of the pPVC/SWCNTs-C60 polymer film was higher than that of pPVC filled with individual nanocomponents. The effectiveness of this composite material as an electron transfer film in a new potentiometric membrane sensor for detecting phenylpyruvic acid (in anionic form) was demonstrated. Screening for this metabolic product of phenylalanine in body fluids is of significant diagnostic interest in phenylketonuria (dementia), viral hepatitis, and alcoholism. The developed sensor showed a stable and fast Nernstian response for phenylpyruvate ions in aqueous solutions over the wide linear concentration range of 5 × 10-7-1 × 10-3 M, with a detection limit of 10-7.2 M.

A Spatio-Temporal Groundwater Fluoride Contamination Assessment to Infer the Hydro-geochemical Analysis of Punjab Satluj Floodplain

Punjab Satluj Floodplain is a Hydro-geologically, ecologically, and economically very precious resource-rich landscape. This area is fragile due to flood risk; since its inception, it has attracted lots of economic and sociocultural activities that adversely affect hydro-geochemical conditions. Spatial and statistical analysis of land use and land cover change reveals that from 1975 to 2011, this landscape experienced 56.55 % land use and land cover transformation. Maximum transformation is noticed in the agricultural and built-up areas. In 1975, agricultural and built-up areas covered 47057.11 hectares (45.13 %) and 469.5 hectares (0.45 %), respectively, of the Punjab Satluj floodplain, which was expanded and covered 91011.36 hectares (87.28 %) and 6495.7 hectares (6.24 %) respectively in 2011. Adversities of these values can be estimated from the groundwater contamination analysis that reveals the specific electrical conductance (EC), nitrate (NO3), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), sodium (Na), and fluoride (F) contamination in the water exceed its permissible consumption limits and effects ecological health. The present research work is the epigram of the hydrogeochemical condition of the Punjab Satluj floodplain concerning the spatial distribution of fluoride contamination and its proximate causes.

Влияние модифицирования йодом и термической постобработки на структуру и электропроводность оксида графена

An original technique for modifying graphene oxide with iodine has been developed. It is shown that when graphene oxide is treated with iodine, oxygen-containing groups are removed from the surface of graphene planes, which improves the electrically conductive properties of the material. The change in the structure and electrical conductivity of the modified graphene oxide, depending on the concentration of iodine, has been studied. According to Raman spectroscopy data, it can be seen that the composition of the modified materials includes molecular complexes of iodine I3– and I5–. Changes in the structure of the crystal lattice of iodine-modified graphene oxide films were studied using X-ray phase analysis. According to IR spectroscopy, the effect of iodination on the change in the qualitative composition of functional groups in the material was analyzed. The specific electrical conductivity of graphene oxide as a result of modification increases from 9.6·10–10 S/cm for the original material to 3.3·10–7 S/cm for the material treated with an isopropanol solution containing 1 wt. % I2 relatively dry graphene oxide. The additionally modified films were heat treated at 80 °C for 2 hours. The resulting changes in the structure of the material are analyzed and an increase in electrical conductivity by one or two orders of magnitude is shown.

Characterization and Analysis of Activated Carbon from Coconut Shells Applied to Supercapacitors

Activated carbon is used materials as an electrode for supercapacitors. The aim of this research is to characterize and analyze activated carbon for results with high specific surface area, chemical resistance, electrical conductivity, and affordability. The pyrolysis technique is used in the activation process to remove water content and achieve optimal carbonization at an activation temperature of 600°C. For chemical activation, the carbon is immersed in 10% KOH and 10% Na2CO3 activating agents. The X-RD results in crystalline phases of graphite at peaks 25° and 44°, showing diffraction peaks of carbon and graphite. SEM characterization microstructure morphology at 3000 times magnification, with a 10 µm image size, the formation of porosity that carbon activation. The iodine adsorption measurement KOH-activated carbon sample is 630.70 mg/g, and Na2CO3 activation at 567.89 mg/g. Conductivity measurement results indicate that the conductivity values of activated carbon with the addition of KOH and Na2CO3 activation, measuring 1724.10 S/m and 1660.60 S/m.

A Simplified Approach for Estimating Ionic Concentrations from Specific Conductance Data in the San Francisco Estuary

This work presents a simplified approach for estimating ionic concentrations from specific electrical conductance (EC) data in the San Francisco Estuary. Monitoring the EC of water through electrodes is simple and inexpensive. As a result, a wealth of high-resolution time-series data is available to indirectly estimate salinity concentrations and, by extension, seawater intrusion throughout the study domain. However, scientists and managers are also interested in quantifying ionic (e.g., bromide, chloride) and total dissolved solids (TDS) concentrations to meet water-quality regulations, protect beneficial uses, support environmental analyses, and track source-water dominance. These constituent concentrations, reported with lower spatial and temporal resolution than EC, are typically measured in the laboratory from discrete (grab) water samples. We divided the study domain into four unique regions to estimate concentrations of major ions and TDS as mathematical functions of measured or model-simulated EC. Salinity relationships in three of the four regions—regions that represent Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta (Delta) inflow and seawater-dominated boundaries—reflect ionic make-ups that are either independent of or weakly dependent on season and hydrologic condition, and are highly correlated with EC. The fourth region—represented by the interior Delta—exhibits salinity characteristics associated with complex-boundary source-water mixing that varies by season and hydrologic condition. We introduce a novel method to estimate ionic and dissolved solids concentrations within this fourth region, given month, water year type, and (optionally) X2 isohaline position, which allows for more accurate EC-based estimates than previously available. The resulting approach, while not a substitute for hydrodynamic modeling, can provide useful information under constrained schedules and budgets.

The temperature dependencies of physical and chemical properties (viscosity, density, electrical conductivity) and the melting temperature of 1M solutions of lithium salts (LiClO4 and LiBF4) in the mixture of sulfolane and sulfurous anhydride (∼1M) were studied. It was shown that the introduction of 1M (5% wt.) of sulfurous anhydride into 1M solutions of LiClO4 and LiBF4 in sulfolane increased the specific and corrected electrical conductivity, densities, activation energy of electrical conductivity and viscous flow of electrolyte solutions; and reduced viscosity and melting temperatures.
